Since I commented about a year ago, I’ve been able to 100% Zelda. Thank you for all of your tips on weapons, and such. Now, I’m working on Master Mode, about 120ish koroks in. To everybody who reads this, it is not easy. (As you already know!) All locations, man. That was really hard. But the achievement of seeing that 100% is sooooo worth it. Nintendo made this an awesome game, and I strongly encourage anyone to go explore everything! (And you thought this was going to say thanks for all the likes!) I know you all can do it!
Don't know if someone pointed it out, but a Gold Lynel with a 100 Attack Savage Sword does 160 Damage. So if you're wearing the Soldier Gear or Ancient Gear set at max level, that Lynel would take 19 hearts with one blow. This knowledge is useful to determine the strenght of the carried weapon before defeting the Lynel. Basically you can load your file until you're facing a Lynel which does 19 hearts of damage before actually fighting it. Sounds dull but is far less tedious than defeating it every single time.

For those who are unsure about wether upgrading the master sword is worth it or not, since you can just transfer durability to a much higher damaging weapon. However, I still think getting the master sword and upgrading it is worth while. Because even with durability transfer a weapon can still break after enough uses. However the master technically never “breaks” it only runs out of energy. Which makes it particularly handy for mining or cutting down trees, or just fighting normal enemies.
Also the Electric spear (I forget what it’s called) is probably the most useful spear in the game, because it has the best effect on it, it’s a longer range, and you can hit quite a few times with it.
Same here, after this, get all chests in all shrines, travel to each tower as fast as you can, get all treasure chests of one item (diamonds, sapphires, or gold rupees), that’s what I do
The Master Sword, when awakened (60 Atk and glowing) consumes only .2 points of durability per hit, then it decreases by 1 when badly damaged (3 durability). So the fully powered Master Sword lasts 188 hits despite having 40 durability, 185 for the first 37 points, then another 3 for the remaining 3 durability. Because of this, when you transfer the Biggoron Sword durability, the Master Sword will last 538 hits (110 durability, 107/.2=535+3=538).
There are 3 chests with the Iron Sledgehammer if you’re playing on master mode. 2 if you’re playing on normal mode. One is on a platform in the East Post Ruins near Proxim Bridge. This treasure chest can only be obtained in master mode. The second one is below one of the Dueling Peaks mountain..if you fast travel to Shee Venath shrine and climb the left rock all the way to the top and paraglide down to the grassy area, there is a treasure chest near one of the Korok seeds where you offer the statue an apple. The third treasure chest is in Fort Hateno on a pillar to the left when you enter. The max attack Savage Lynel Crusher is also a top tier weapon.
I would love to see a video where you show your typical inventory and explain why you use certain weapons. Like you did in the end in the bows video. I really enjoy your content. Thanks for you hard work!
I have a maxed out inventory so I ofc have the master sword 5 lynel swords and crushers all the great elemental blades and 3 royal guards claymores and regular royale claymores
To be clear, normal Biggoron's Sword has 60 durability and the spring loaded hammer has 80. So if you get the Biggoron's Sword with attack up or long throw, then you will want to transfer from the spring loaded hammer. But if you were to get a durability up Biggoron's sword, then that has 90 durability and a Biggoron's Sword with durability up+ has 111 durability. So definitely get the durability up+ Biggoron's Sword and not a regular one. Hope this helps!
Are you sure there is a Durability Up + Biggoron Sword? I heard there is only Durability Up. Is there anything to trigger that Durability + drop? I finished 3 Devine Beasts and got the Master Sword fully Awakened.
@@Moonwalker86 yes durability up+ exists for biggorons sword, it will have 111 durability with it. I think there’s a glitch where the durability up+ modifier shows up as regular durability up

Of the Wild armor and amiibo set bonuses actually increase the Master Sword’s beams’ *damage* by 50% or 100% iirc. The thing that increases their range is actually your number of hearts.

According to Zelda dungeon, there are 4 places you can get a sledgehammer in a chest: 1 on eventide island, the 2 you mentioned, and a master mode one that is to the left of Proxim bridge. The one on Eventide island, although infinitely re-spawning, can't get any mods, and I don't have master mode to check out the Proxim bridge one. On master mode, there are 3 treasure chests which have the sledgehammer with modifiers. The eventide island treasure chest doesn’t have the sledgehammer with modifiers. Master mode treasure chests always have modifiers.
for beating lynels, since hitting him while mounted has fixed attack speed and doesn't use durability, is it better to use the strongest standard weapon with the attack up armor or the strongest guardian weapon with ancient proficiency?
Both are good. I would definitely save durability of strong weapons by doing this. Also, if you decide to use ancient proficiency, you would just need to change clothes, if you dont already have them on.
There are two chests with iron sledgehammers with modifiers in the shrine "Tempered Power." I have received durability up, long throw and damage up modifiers on these sledgehammers during my several playthroughs of BotW.
Suprisingly, i’m only a week in BoW and i’ve got 2 Ancient Battle Axe++ A Savage Lynel Bow 3 Guardian Sword++ Some Royal Claymores and Broadswords A Guardian Shield++ And LOT of Soilders Bows. I have a problem.
So did I. I'm at 160 hours in my main game but I wanted to try Master Mode, so I spent like 4 or 5 hours last night with it and almost got to Hetano village before I realized how late it was and went to bed.
There’s a modified version of the Iron Sledgehammer in that one shrine where you used stasis and then hit balls into holes using a sledgehammer(I forgot the shrine name).
Modifiers only depend on your level/exp, not on the location of the weapon. Clever way to implement scaling in the game without anyone really noticing. Kleric has a video on the hylian shield with modifiers, there he explains it
Great video, I like the premise as it gives people a good place to start when looking for very strong weapons. The only thing I would suggest is to not plug other videos so many times, since when a person hears so many plugs for other videos it likely makes them start skipping through parts of your video. I have no issues with hearing a plug for another video in there, but I do think it is frustrating to hear them all the time. Especially if you already plugged a certain video before (like the stun traps video being plugged twice)
yeah all of the sledgehammers you can get outside of a chest have scaling turned off meaning you can't get any mods on them so the only way to get mods on them is if you find a sledgehammer in a chest
when i was trying to get the spear best i got was 23 and i got a ton of trouble setting the shock trap up i really hope this luck doesnt continue set it up first try the 2nd time around, hopefully i get lucky this time did it for about 10 minutes, got a +25 claymore time!!! im so excited!!!! after like 20 minutes i got 2 +43's, cant be bothered to set it up or wait again as i got even more trouble this time because i kept getting agro with 3x stealth + steath armor so i couldnt skip to day, ig ill just dupe what ive got now and get the bows
If you are looking for an easy to get weapon that is two handed respawns and after a while then look no further! Three easy steps: 1:find the woodland tower and climb to the top 2:climb on top of the skull. 3:grab the sword. I forgot what it's called and I'm too lazy to check
He's specifically saying he's not sure where to get a "modded" sledgehammer. All sledgehammers that spawn in the world, even after blood moons, will NEVER be modded. I think even sledgehammers wielded by enemies will never be modded. Only some from some non-respawn'able chests can be modded.
100 Percent Zelda yeah and can finally beat thunderblight Ganon he is the hardest boss in my opinion and I always loose when I try fighting him for the first time but maybe with this gear I can beat him first try.
What they all said =) It does have a certain amount of durability that after you use it a certain amount of times it "breaks." When it breaks, it actually runs out of energy and can't be used for 10 minutes of gameplay
I just started playing Zelda and you helped to get lots of weapons a lot of clothes and a lot of shield and lotta food thank you for so much for filming
I think one of the best weapons is the frostspear. You can use it when fighting to freeze an enemy, then switch to a high damage weapon to get an even better damage output from it. Best of all, it's a super safe strategy since the spear is such a quick weapon. of course, enemies can be frozen by other means too, but the frostspear is my go to.
I do similarly, but with the blizzard rod which can freeze multiple adversaries at once. Since the freeze lasts so long, you can then take 'em out ole at a time...
Haha, same. I was setting up a shock trap and kept resetting to a point, where I could barely kill the moblin, since there were so many weapons in the room that all arrows and hits went through him. And then the first or second of the weapons was the one I wanted.
Spears are honestly so under rated. They attack quickly, have long range, usually have pretty good durability, and do decent damage. The only weapon that I like more than spears are the trial of the sword Master sword and duplex bow just cuz it feels sooooo good to hit someone with it. The Master Sword cuz I mean, yeah.
@@dubywuby8646 Thats why I got the sword trials man, that dlc buffs the sword like crazy. Once fully upgraded the base damage is 60 and the durability is now 200
i am very late to comment this but if you don't get the Spring-Loaded Hammer you can use Lightscale Tridant. it has a durability of 70. and if it breaks you can easily craft it back in Zora's Domain
I found the modded Sledge Hammers. Not sure if someone already said it but you can get two more in the Mirro Shaz Shrine near the Woodland Stable. There are two treasure chests that give Iron Sledgehammers that can have yellow modifiers. One found initially then the other behind the monk.

I hope it does! Ask if you have any questions! there are no dumb questions =) At least to me... =P
So did I. I'm at 160 hours in my main game but I wanted to try Master Mode, so I spent like 4 or 5 hours last night with it and almost got to Hetano village before I realized how late it was and went to bed.
I have ever got a savage lynel crusher which does 112 i think, and WOW it was amazing!
Great video! Many references to your older videos. I am glad I saw them all and was able to understand.
I love this! That's one thing I hope, is for people to understand my stuff haha
You are seriously one of the best botw RUclipsrs
Thanks! I'm just late in the youtube game when everything is already discovered =P
My brain after the video: "here...here...here...here...here..."
Here here and here
Since my RUclips feed is all about BOTW atm. Thank god RUclips recommended me such a hidden gem. Keep it up.
Thanks so much! Welcome! =)
There’s a modified version of the Iron Sledgehammer in that one shrine where you used stasis and then hit balls into holes using a sledgehammer(I forgot the shrine name).
thanks!
I found a modded sledgehammer in the Moblin Cave's Main chest just south of Kariko Village
yeah all of the sledgehammers you can get outside of a chest have scaling turned off meaning you can't get any mods on them so the only way to get mods on them is if you find a sledgehammer in a chest
Please be more specific I can’t find it
When I dont know how to do something I go to this channel to figure it out cause this guy has so much info to share thank you
Thank you so so much! I'll continue to do my best!
when i was trying to get the spear best i got was 23 and i got a ton of trouble setting the shock trap up
i really hope this luck doesnt continue
set it up first try the 2nd time around, hopefully i get lucky this time
did it for about 10 minutes, got a +25
claymore time!!! im so excited!!!!
after like 20 minutes i got 2 +43's, cant be bothered to set it up or wait again as i got even more trouble this time because i kept getting agro with 3x stealth + steath armor so i couldnt skip to day, ig ill just dupe what ive got now and get the bows
These videos are all extremely helpful! You’ve earned a new subscriber, honestly I think you deserve way more subs.
thank you so much! I'll hopefully get more, I'm just new at this youtube game =P
Another great video! Keep up the good work and eventually you'll get at least 100k
I hope to get there as soon as possible! =)
If you are looking for an easy to get weapon that is two handed respawns and after a while then look no further!
Three easy steps:
1:find the woodland tower and climb to the top
2:climb on top of the skull.
3:grab the sword. I forgot what it's called and I'm too lazy to check
That's a good spot too!
The best place to get iron sledgehammers is the house you buy at hateano once you’ve paid the 3000 rupees off
He's specifically saying he's not sure where to get a "modded" sledgehammer. All sledgehammers that spawn in the world, even after blood moons, will NEVER be modded. I think even sledgehammers wielded by enemies will never be modded. Only some from some non-respawn'able chests can be modded.
10:24, if you buy a house at hateno village there will be a sledge hammer always spawning there
I was looking for a modded one =(
I can’t believe there are still videos from botw in 2020 this is awesome (btw really good video)
yeah, it's crazy! (thanks!)
These videos are so great I'd love to see one about the trial(s) of the sword
Thanks! That's something I may look into! Thanks for the comment! =)
11:57 Link started giving that GAWK GAWK 3000
Fr
Frostspear is such an underrated weapon since if you charge attack you do crit damage every two hits
Nice and thorough guides, like it
Thanks so much!
underrated channel
Thanks! I'm just new! Maybe ill grow more in the future! =)
One thing I love about these videos is instead of just saying go here you say how to get there and how to do certain things :3
Thanks so much! I try my best to make it as easy as possible =)
Thanks now I have all the best gear in master mode. And another great video.
hopefully now you have now the strongest weapons, best shields and best bows! Now you're unstoppable
100 Percent Zelda yeah and can finally beat thunderblight Ganon he is the hardest boss in my opinion and I always loose when I try fighting him for the first time but maybe with this gear I can beat him first try.
@@will_hum3992 yeah, he is an annoying one. I think its the parrying part than may be annoying, but you got it!
I looked away for five seconds and he had 15 spears
3 years later I’m still learning, thanks, I’ll be ready for botw 2 whenever that comes out
cool! yes be ready!
Woah!i guessed the next vid!Thx for using my comment!
You got it! Happy to help! =)
I feel like iv discovered a man that was genetically enhanced to play this game and do good
Haha no. Just a guy that played the game ALOT
Agreed lol
Hey niko you taught me how to make shock traps you know that
10:23 for ppl looking at this that stil wonder go to the 2nd chest in the stable golf shrine
Does the master sword brake?I haven’t gotten it yet :)
No it doesn’t break it just needs to recharge
It breaks. But its slot stays occupied with a counter.
You can get a really powerful unbreakable master sword at the end of the trial of the sword, but yeah it does break and recharges in your inventory
You can transfer durability to it, makes it last way longer until it breaks.
What they all said =) It does have a certain amount of durability that after you use it a certain amount of times it "breaks." When it breaks, it actually runs out of energy and can't be used for 10 minutes of gameplay
7:17 In spanish version its called Guardian sword 3.0
I think its a better name
(Variants: Guardian sword, guardian sword 2.0)
Espada de guardián III en latinoamérica
haha it does sound cool
Had no idea shrines of tests respawned the guardians. Had no idea about the shock traps. Learning so much!
yay! I'm happy to help!
earned my sub. Love your organization and the information!
Thank you so much! I really appreciate it! Welcome! I hope you enjoy! =)
5:56 set the speed to 0.25 and pause... that's nightmare fuel.
haha! and it's weird looking! =P
I just started playing Zelda and you helped to get lots of weapons a lot of clothes and a lot of shield and lotta food thank you for so much for filming
Amazing video! Thank you!
thanks so much! and you're welcome!
This is a Note For Lynel Fighting:
Don't stay in the air too long, The Lynels will start using bows, and if they have shock arrows,
You'll die badly.
and their aim is so good ...
@@100PercentZelda lol yep
is nobody gonna talk about how good the hyrule castle music sounds sped up
Haha I never thought about that!
@@100PercentZelda neither did I but my friend made a sped up version and God damn it's fire
That's true. I do like that weapon too!
I do similarly, but with the blizzard rod which can freeze multiple adversaries at once. Since the freeze lasts so long, you can then take 'em out ole at a time...
The first Royal Guard’s spear I picked up when shocktrapping was +24 damage.
thats cool!
Haha, same. I was setting up a shock trap and kept resetting to a point, where I could barely kill the moblin, since there were so many weapons in the room that all arrows and hits went through him. And then the first or second of the weapons was the one I wanted.
@8:29 that was some sick lizal beatboxing
Haha! 🦎🦎🦎🦎🦎🦎
I love your vids, they're so helpful!
Thank you! I'm happy to help! =)
So I have a question I haven’t been able to find anywhere online. Does anyone know what the highest attack power for the drillshaft is?
27
@@100PercentZelda is there a spreadsheet with that info?
@@meltedtuba7 docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1NqJoQxZQJ_8UCLStiqGwgAOPN1V0Z9uCoq9lW_LYGKo/pubhtml#
Save and reload before you kill a lynel, and test by getting hit by one. If you lose a suspiciously high amount of hearts, that means u have attack up
yes! thanks!
@@100PercentZelda no problem! Happy to help my Idol!
I’ve never played Zelda but love the content keep it up
seriously? =) what makes you like it?
Bro I have been using the mine carts wrong!!! Wtf I’ve been using stasis and hammers 😭
Hahaha! Its okay. It didn't make sense to blow up a bomb right next to you, but i was brave enough to try it out. Haha
I definitely like using spears a lot
@@100PercentZelda yea best early game weapons tbh
If you map the durability of your Biggoron Sword to the Master Sword when the master sword breaks and recharges wll it still have 40durablitty or 111?
This is a great question! I probably should have mentioned it. The durability goes back to 40
100 Percent Zelda Thank you :(
@@dubywuby8646 Thats why I got the sword trials man, that dlc buffs the sword like crazy. Once fully upgraded the base damage is 60 and the durability is now 200
Or you can just watch Kleric.
2:56 best spear location, 6:52 one handed weapons location, 8:17 two handed weapons location
thanks!
i am very late to comment this but if you don't get the Spring-Loaded Hammer you can use Lightscale Tridant. it has a durability of 70. and if it breaks you can easily craft it back in Zora's Domain
Awesome! Thanks!
I found the modded Sledge Hammers. Not sure if someone already said it but you can get two more in the Mirro Shaz Shrine near the Woodland Stable.
There are two treasure chests that give Iron Sledgehammers that can have yellow modifiers. One found initially then the other behind the monk.
Thanks for completing this wonderful series
You're welcome! this video was quite some work, but I'm glad I did it! =)
found an attack up iron sledgehammer north of dueling peaks, i think it's a one time chest though
thanks!
270 hours played aaaaand I just learned you can make shock traps. I love this game
Yay! They're fun!
1:44 I'm wondering where to get those rare weapons. Hadn't seen them after my 350+ hours playing botw
I used amiibo
I feel like the more I rewatch these videos the better they get
haha! Thanks! keep watching =) Maybe it'll get even betterer!
DUDE HIS MONEY IS STACKED like How is that possible does sell all his ore, leave game, go back in and get more
good video!
I farm at Pondo’s lodge you can get 10,000 rupees in about an hour if you’re consistent
eaves oh wow
Bokoblin: *knocks over Link and takes his 75 attack power Ancient Battleaxe++*
Link: *Equips Korok leaf and blows Bokoblin into water*
sometimes, it's just that easy
@@100PercentZeldaand bokoblins have a damage cap too lol
There’s a modded Iron Sledgehammer by Proxim Bridge (Bosh Kala shrine). It’s in a chest held up by Sky Octoroks.
yes! thanks! =)
