For anyone confused on how to get the Bow of Light from Normal to Master Mode, prep a master mode file with an open slot for a bow, save the game, then return to normal mode and load the autosave where you did arrow-less offset. Perform the arrow-less offset glitch, follow all steps and when you load the primary save file, instead return to the title screen and load your master mode save. You will have the bow of light but champion abilities will be duplicated. To solve this, get an autosave and load the autosave, and everything should be back to normal!
Thank you for this tutorial! This was the first major glitch I’ve done on my own save file and while it was nerve wracking worrying about my save you were incredibly clear with what you had to do and though I was lost at some points, I realized it was my fault and got it to work eventually. Awesome video keep it up! :) gonna mess around with this bow now lol
This guide was really helpful, thank you for it. As an european PC enjoyer i want to say for those, who uses cemu like me that this glitch IS working on cemu, you just need more times 3/5 bows for inventory overload. Also if you have an fps+ graphic pack, than arrowless offset would be easier with lower fps, for you to hit thos treaky timings.
This is actually a lot easier to understand now :o I really thought I first have to deal with a save with only the BoL instead, I was relieved to realize all you had to do was have an empty bow slot for the hard save. Thank you again for the cool tutorial!
Damn it, for some reason my mahym Ava a shrine save (with the bow) has 2 light bows and some extra copies, but when I do the weapon smuggle (even tried with more slots) When I return to my og save, the bow isn’t there but I have like 4 slots of Koepka seeds, invisible champion slots etc but no bow, what can I do to either reset or fix it?
Exactly bro but i did it in master mode, so 1 save 1 auto save 😮💨. Funny thing is, you’ve heard about the “master” glitch right? The one you can only do in normal mode with the memory storage? Had that one first try. Bow of light and all. I think I botched my offset count, or made a mistake with when to be in menu overload and when not. Ah well guess I’ll have some fun with the auto save file and erase it afterwards 😓 thnks for the comment ✌️
I did it man! Turns out my hard save wasn’t corrupted after a reboot. Tried it again and noticed that at some point I didn’t rid myself of the gear I wore combined with the miscount in offset. Just finished couple of minutes ago and everything is in tact including the BoL. Also just noticed now that el duende did it in normal mode which makes switching to another auto save a lot easier. In master mode you got one shot 😅 ah well I’m glad it worked out! Good luck !

A few notes to those performing the glitch: When you get to this part, 13:25 with the "Make sure your bow is unequipped, then load your primary save", ONLY LOAD THE PRIMARY SAVE, DO NOT LOAD ANY OTHER AUTO SAVE! It is possible that when you check for your Bow of Light to make sure it's unequipped, it may have "disappeared" from your inventory. This happened to me. Despite this, do not panic, and load your primary save anyway! You still technically have it! You should be fine once the primary save loads, and you should have the Bow of Light. I'm not sure what causes it to disappear from the inventory, but I guess the game still knows you have it. On that note, Here's a little story about what happened to me with this issue: I got to that part exactly, and I went to "make sure my bow was unequipped" I scrolled over to the Bow section of the inventory, but it wasn't there. It had disappeared. I didn't know WHAT to think or what to do. I figured "Shoot I must've messed up the glitch when doing the weapons smuggle thing, better load the previous autosave just before I did the Arrowless Offset thing" Fortunately this didn't have any super bad gamebreaking/file corrupting consequences, but I found out I actually DID still have the Bow of Light, because when I loaded that previous Autosave, I now had TWO Bows of Light! Meaning I still actually had it, and it transferred over to this Autosave since it was the next save I loaded (instead of the Primary Hard Save). Fortunately/Unfortunately, all I had to do was perform Arrowless Offset and do the Weapon Smuggle thing over again, this time loading the correct save. I am happy to report that I now have the Bow of Light, and have started a Crusade to kill every enemy in Hyrule without letting the Blood Moon pass, for which the Bow of Light will be most helpful. This is an AMAZING tutorial. Perfectly crafted and edited, super helpful and clear. Thank you.
What happens if something goes wrong? Like maybe near the end? Do I quit the game to stop the IST glitch, or just reload my hard save? Is there a way for me not to mess up my official game?
@@jakehoyt8171 That depends on what exactly went wrong. Usually I'd say just reload the last autosave, like I accidentally did. But it depends on the thing that "went wrong"
Umm i stessed out and kinda fixed it? I now have the bow of light but i have two duplicates of champ abilities bc I panicked. I have the abilities 1-4 then i got copies for abilities 1-4 and another copy so in total 12 champ abilities so plz help
Just did this today! Such an amazing glitch and even better information and instructions! Also as a side bar for anyone doing this, after you get the BOL on your main file you can display it in your house, run away across the bridge, and come back to you house to pick it up and as long as you have an available bow slot you’ll get another one :) free dupe essentially 😊
It took me about 2-3 hours, but I FINALLY managed to do it! You are the GOAT for this one For all you guys: - The procedure of the final offsets won’t work if your 2 weapons are spears or 1 handed weapons, they have to be 1 handed weapons (a sword, torch, etc.)
Bow of light acquired! This was very easy to follow and it took about an hour because of how much crap I had to sell but I have it. Put it in a frame in my house and now I've got a duplicate.

Extra tips: make sure you make enough offsets at the start if your champion abilities are duped when you move to your manual save it’s fine they will disappear
Hum so I wanted to transfer my bow of light to my master mode save where I only have urbosa fury but at the end of the glitch my duplicate champion abilities stays instead of disappearing...

@HandlesIThoughtOfWereAllTaken That's exactly how I felt. Didn't want to risk it after all the progress I've made through the months and, eventually, years. I believe it's totally worth it. If it doesn't feel right to you, don't risk it. There's a point in the video where you save it at link's house. If anything, after that, you don't like just stop and revert back to that save and you'll have all your progress still. Best of luck in Whichever decision you land on.
The whole thing probably took me around an hour and fifteen minutes, mostly because I misunderstood the part about needing multishot bows, which is on me. Great tutorial, very simple and easy to understand and the inclusion of the chapters are very helpful when I needed a part repeated.

This took like 4 hours the first time for me because I didn’t get enough offset originally, and the second time when I was doing it for a for a friend and I managed to die in the dark beast ganon fight, and I ended up with a tripled inventory.
I love this method of getting the Bow of Light outside the Beast Ganon fight! I have been waiting a long time to get the BoL on my save. This is so much better than the other method that involves starting a new game and reaching Ganon without dying any. I'll probably try the weapon modifier transfer that is in your new video next. Seriously, I can't thank you, kinak, brkirch, zxrobin, and anyone else who worked on this enough! You got a new subscriber!
Confirmed working still as of March 2023. In total it took me about an hour and a half, hardest part was getting used to the final inputs for Arrowless Offset generation when speaking with the vendor. I think it was about fifteen attempts to get the dpad down + a input correct. The inputs must be performed very fast, almost simultaneously but not quite. Noteworthy Tip: You can teleport to Hyrule Castle and back without any issues. No need to run or glitch that part, it is completely safe.
This is SO WELL EXPLAINED. Thank you, El Duende! I had a little doubt, but figured duplicate abilities would merge after save quitting. This was very thoroughly explained and I learnt some other glitches at the same time!
This is one of those “just trust the process” tutorials… eventually I got it. I can’t thank you enough!! Stayed up because I accumulated too many auto saves to want to resell all my stuff again. Accidentally made to many offset slots at the end and had no inventory when I went to drop my items. I was able to pick up what I had dropped, only three items and inventory came back. Dropped the items and continued with the process. Ended up bringing the 2 weapons and shield I had put on the wall back with, effectively but inadvertently duplicating the weapons. Can’t wait to master this😎👍

A note for you and anyone trying this, the two weapons on the last step MUST BE one handed weapons. It does not work with two handed, in my experience. Same experience here I had a crusher and ancient spear if u do mange to accidentally not have 2 single handed weapons fight the silver boko near hateno village and grab a soup ladle from the cooking area
I followed all the steps and was originally scared because the bow didn’t show in “bows and arrows”, I had to slide to the right of “key items” and it was there. Was still able to equip it and mount it. PHEW thanks man A LOT. After I took it from the mount it returned to the normal bow inventory.
Ive never commented in my life but this actually works and it's insane everyone should try this out because if you follow along you genuinely get the bow in game no hidden catches without losing anything at all despite how scary selling all your stuff may seem in the beginning (you get it back)
It’s all a bit unbelievable. Sounds too good to be true but actually as advertised. I just wish I’d been clearer during the “sell all your stuff” part that you’d get it all back as long as you don’t manually save while your inventory is cleared. The purpose of getting rid of as much as you can is to reduce the number of slots required to trick the game into clearing out your entire inventory, which is vital to ensure only the BoL is transferred back to your target safe at the end.
Things I recommend as doing this glitch: - Don't be afraid to rewatch the video for extra steps. Watch what he does carefully. - Grab a pen and paper. Count the amount of times you've done offset and for the caluclation, procede carefully. - It's very easy to get stressed about this glitch since it seems scary, but just remain calm and focus. - REMEMBER X IS NOT HOW YOU ADD ITEMS TO YOUR ITEM STACK. It costed me SO much time. X is to START holding, A is to ADD to holding. - If you're unsure, relaunch the game and be safe. Ultimately, it takes just around and hour or so to do, so if you reload it's not catastrophic. The thing that takes the most time is offset generation.
yeah while i generated my offsets i was very nervous and miscalculated and mess the nuke part up,but still i will try it again this week as im getting more familiar with this glitch,and even tho its really stressfull im having soo much fun
@@endernotchstaff2306 no. That was just his number. Whatever key items you have (more or less) you count those and include the key items that can be duplicated by 2. Any arrow slots and unsellable armor and stuff by two. That will be your number of offsets you'd have to create.
I thought I would mess up along the way, but I succeeded all in one go! This really worked out for me and only problem I had was with the whistling 1 frame talk which took about 8 attempts or and one thing I thought to myself was just: "immediately press A after clicking the downpad, get that trigger finger ready". Other than that, everything works perfectly! Thank you so much for this!

@@bossedup957 you really have to wait till link does "something special" with his shield. You don't unequip it as soon as you see it, only as soon as he starts getting it from behind of his back. Maybe that's the reason?

Thanks so much for this video! I messed up the first time offsetting and it wiped my inventory before I could fight Gannon. I panicked and loaded back my manual save and I had the duplicate arrows and other items. Fortunately, after restarting the game everything went back to normals and on my second try, I finished the whole glitch with no problems! Thank you again

I genuinely thought I had ruined the game too much at points, as it started giving me extra pages for materials and bows to the _right_ of the Key Items page. These pages had limited functionality and kinda screwed up the menu, but it all worked out perfectly in the end so thank you, and I'm definitely subscribing as that was a very well made tutorial

Lesson for others: It’s okay to keep the bow of light equipped when nuking your inventory. I thought I screwed up when I forgot to dequip the bow of light when dropping everything. My inventory cleared but I still had the bow of light equipped and couldn’t remove it. It spooked me and I fumbled everything. My buffer wasn’t big enough to save me and I had to reset. That was the one part that the words alone weren’t enough to follow it by, but I did load the autosave that was made and I no longer had the bow equipped. So it worked out.
This is confusing, is it okay or not okay to have it wquipped when you close and reopen the game? Originally you say its okay but later you said you fumbled it.

Glad it helped! A lot of people either don't pay attention to the "keep a hard save as a backup" step at the beginning or somehow accidentally overwrite it with a new manual save due to sheer muscle memory, so I'm glad you listened and were able to get your BoL :D

Awesome! I just got the Bow of Light on my main file. I can say that this glitch works on emulators (as I'm playing on Cemu). However, just to report, when I loaded the autosave outside the Sanctum, neither my arrow stacks nor my Champion Abilities were duplicated (the Master Sword, the Spirit Orbs and the Korok seeds were). It took me a good amount of tries for the Arrowless Offset, but everything else worked like a charm!!! Thanks!
Just completed this today, and transferred the BoL to a fresh Master Mode file. I was very intimidated by the steps TBH, and the Arrowless offset took a bit of practice to perform correctly, but was able to execute this thanks to the comprehensive tutorial. This transfer glitch and video are impressive!

Okay guys I spent about 4 hours on this here is some tips. You can go from a regular mode to master mode. You have to load a master mode file, load back into the dup save, then load back into master mode and the bow of light will be there. I had issues with the Nuking inventory step. I corrected this by overshooting my overset. So if you have 30 do 40.

This is an excellent video. Very well explained and informative. I was able to succeed on my very first attempt!! I did take my time to follow each step perfectly so it did take a bit over an hour, but overall really quick and efficient. Thank you so much for the video!!!
so I'm getting stuck on the boss rush so that's fun, but I may have just discovered something, dying in the boss rush obviously loads my quick save duping stuff again, but when my far left stack of shock arrows hit 0 and I died again all the shock arrow slots disappeared, not even a 0 stack anymore. edit: started over because to much duped armor and the same effect did not happen, idk how to reproduce it.
It took me so long to do the first offset with the bows, but this was totally worth it. After 6 years and 775 hours of play time I have the Bow of Light. You are a legend dude, The Legend Of El Duende Guapeton.

HELP FOR PEOPLE WITH DISAPPEARING GEAR! When I was doing this glitch, I noticed my stuff was disappearing after started heading towards Gannon, to fix this, grab any weapon/shield and make sure to scroll all the way in your inventory since your menu can get rearranged. Reply to me if you need more help Also, in case you’re wondering, warping is completely fine
one thing i can`t understand, is that on 1:15 and 5:36 you show that you have an empty inventory slot in your bow stash to receive the bow of light. but then later when you go to steal the bow of light after saying that you should alter your inventory as little as possible, at 6:22 there is a brand new royal bow next to the bow of light. when did it get there and why do you have it if the inventory slot was supposed to be kept empty.

Some advice that I would like to mention: get rid of your spirit orbs and korok seeds before doing this if possible just to do less offset and be patient since this can be time-consuming. Hi Sir, IF my goal is to just get the 220 attack 10 shot (linear & spread) Bow of Lights, it looks like I can do this: 1. Start with the save file on 9:45 2. Go out farming dragon horns and other required materials 3. Cook 59 apples, then cook the target recipe 4. Perform WMC 5. Finally, transfer the corrupted BoL back to the main progress save. Do you see any issue with this approach? Thank you very much for this awesome tutorial, I was able to get the Bow of Light, but I'm having some trouble following your WMC tutorial (the one that starts with getting 999 korok seeds).

10:25 For this I was having trouble because link was not holding the shield you have to make sure you have one handed weapons cause link doesn’t use his shield for the two handed ones. I managed to figure this out hope this helps!
Im so mad. I tried for so freaking long and i FINALLY got the bow of light into my mastermode file. BUT THEN i go pick up a stick, the bow in the woods on the great platue, and some comsumables to see my bow of light and master sword. THEN i go pick up a rock to get a korok autosave. i get the auto save so i close the game and re open it. i load that auto save AND ITS ALL GONE. There was nothing in my inventore and i have no clue what went wrong. please help ive been trying for hours and hours.
You still have negative mCount, probably you forgot to close and reload during one of the later steps (before generating arrowless offset) in order to reset the IST glitch. If you can reload your hard save and try again.
I messed up on one of the ending steps and almost had a heart attack, thank God for that auto save by the shrine... still working on getting the bow 💪🏼 Edit: it worked! Thank you!!!
Excellent tutorial, I repeated the arrowless offset part more times than necessary because i thought that I was doing something wrong when i saw duped champion abilities. It was just a matter of restart the game and load the autosave

Nope, it cant mess up anything because if your done with the ganon fight your autosave infront of the room before ganon will be loaded. While the fight you should have like 3 bows of light but that will be fixed after the fight as i already said.
i’m getting the issue when i warp to hyrule castle to fight the bosses, all of my equipment is gone, like all of my armor, weapons, even key items. any idea why this is happening? Also, sometimes when i hold the item to throw it back down, it says that i can’t hold it here. if this happens, will it still work?
what if i already have bow of light on my normal save file and want to transfer it onto master mode, is there a way to put it faster than doing all this again?
Back 1 year later, did this on my master mode file and I’m so happy rn, if you don’t have a clear inventory like his fast travel to other villages, but their stuff, get as many materials As possible and create offset with them and load the file and it should be there
This tutorial is so good. My only issue is I started messing with the bow around and now I just have a normal file with the bow of light and I have no idea of how to transfer it to the master mode, where my main save is. Any tips?
Got a video in my recommended showcasing an OP bow that was created using this method and then it lead me to you. Just did this for both regular and master mode. Great tutorial. Going to corrupt my weapons, bows, and shields this Friday and duplicate them to have extra lol.

dude idk how but all my weapons fell into the backrooms 2 minutes later: i got to hyrule castle and get one apple. the apple makes everything appear again, its also loaded to the left of "key items"

during the last step (where you trigger an autosave then reopen the game) the inventory will show extra key items, do not worry about this just continue the steps as normal the extra blank key items will disappear from the menu
Thank you so much! I managed to do it on my 2nd try. What happened to my 1st try is that while I was doing Offset Generation, idk what happened exactly but the game told me “You can’t hold that here” and so I panicked thinking “oh hell nah this shit just got way too off the tracks for me” and I reset the whole process to be safe. Good tutorial.
An important thing to note is that you cannot die during the Calamity Ganon fight. It happened to me and I ended up with not duplicated, but triplicated arrow stacks, key items and armour. Luckily I knew what to do so I closed the game and reloaded the hard save I had made in Link's house in order to deactivate the glitch and get all of my stuff back.

You will have the bow of light but champion abilities will be duplicated. To solve this, get an autosave and load the autosave, and everything should be back to normal!

This was the first major glitch I’ve done on my own save file and while it was nerve wracking worrying about my save you were incredibly clear with what you had to do and though I was lost at some points, I realized it was my fault and got it to work eventually. As an european PC enjoyer i want to say for those, who uses cemu like me that this glitch IS working on cemu, you just need more times 3/5 bows for inventory overload. Also if you have an fps+ graphic pack, than arrowless offset would be easier with lower fps, for you to hit thos treaky timings.
This is actually a lot easier to understand now :o I really thought I first have to deal with a save with only the BoL instead, I was relieved to realize all you had to do was have an empty bow slot for the hard save. Thank you again for the cool tutorial!

Damn it, for some reason my mahym Ava a shrine save (with the bow) has 2 light bows and some extra copies, but when I do the weapon smuggle (even tried with more slots)
When I return to my og save, the bow isn’t there but I have like 4 slots of Koepka seeds, invisible champion slots etc but no bow, what can I do to either reset or fix it?
Exactly bro but i did it in master mode, so 1 save 1 auto save 😮💨. Funny thing is, you’ve heard about the “master” glitch right? The one you can only do in normal mode with the memory storage? Had that one first try. Bow of light and all. I think I botched my offset count, or made a mistake with when to be in menu overload and when not. Ah well guess I’ll have some fun with the auto save file and erase it afterwards 😓 thnks for the comment ✌️
I did it man! Turns out my hard save wasn’t corrupted after a reboot. Tried it again and noticed that at some point I didn’t rid myself of the gear I wore combined with the miscount in offset. Just finished couple of minutes ago and everything is in tact including the BoL. Also just noticed now that el duende did it in normal mode which makes switching to another auto save a lot easier. In master mode you got one shot 😅 ah well I’m glad it worked out! Good luck !

A few notes to those performing the glitch:
When you get to this part, 13:25 with the "Make sure your bow is unequipped, then load your primary save", ONLY LOAD THE PRIMARY SAVE, DO NOT LOAD ANY OTHER AUTO SAVE! It is possible that when you check for your Bow of Light to make sure it's unequipped, it may have "disappeared" from your inventory. This happened to me. Despite this, do not panic, and load your primary save anyway! You still technically have it! You should be fine once the primary save loads, and you should have the Bow of Light. I'm not sure what causes it to disappear from the inventory, but I guess the game still knows you have it.
On that note, Here's a little story about what happened to me with this issue:
I got to that part exactly, and I went to "make sure my bow was unequipped" I scrolled over to the Bow section of the inventory, but it wasn't there. It had disappeared. I didn't know WHAT to think or what to do. I figured "Shoot I must've messed up the glitch when doing the weapons smuggle thing, better load the previous autosave just before I did the Arrowless Offset thing"
Fortunately this didn't have any super bad gamebreaking/file corrupting consequences, but I found out I actually DID still have the Bow of Light, because when I loaded that previous Autosave, I now had TWO Bows of Light! Meaning I still actually had it, and it transferred over to this Autosave since it was the next save I loaded (instead of the Primary Hard Save). Fortunately/Unfortunately, all I had to do was perform Arrowless Offset and do the Weapon Smuggle thing over again, this time loading the correct save.
I am happy to report that I now have the Bow of Light, and have started a Crusade to kill every enemy in Hyrule without letting the Blood Moon pass, for which the Bow of Light will be most helpful.

What happens if something goes wrong? Like maybe near the end? Do I quit the game to stop the IST glitch, or just reload my hard save? Is there a way for me not to mess up my official game?
@@jakehoyt8171 That depends on what exactly went wrong. Usually I'd say just reload the last autosave, like I accidentally did. But it depends on the thing that "went wrong"
Umm i stessed out and kinda fixed it? I now have the bow of light but i have two duplicates of champ abilities bc I panicked. I have the abilities 1-4 then i got copies for abilities 1-4 and another copy so in total 12 champ abilities so plz help

Just did this today! Such an amazing glitch and even better information and instructions! Also as a side bar for anyone doing this, after you get the BOL on your main file you can display it in your house, run away across the bridge, and come back to you house to pick it up and as long as you have an available bow slot you’ll get another one :) free dupe essentially 😊

It took me about 2-3 hours, but I FINALLY managed to do it! You are the GOAT for this one
For all you guys:
- The procedure of the final offsets won’t work if your 2 weapons are spears or 1 handed weapons, they have to be 1 handed weapons (a sword, torch, etc.)
Bow of light acquired! This was very easy to follow and it took about an hour because of how much crap I had to sell but I have it. Put it in a frame in my house and now I've got a duplicate.
About an hour sounds right for a roughly 100% ish save. That was one of my goals for this method: keep it under an hour or so.

For anyone that wants a quicker way of counting how many items you have, keep in mind a inventory page is 20 items (5x4)
Good tip! Just make sure you estimate on the high side and that should work out ok,
Extra tips:
make sure you make enough offsets at the start
if your champion abilities are duped when you move to your manual save it’s fine they will disappear
Hum so I wanted to transfer my bow of light to my master mode save where I only have urbosa fury but at the end of the glitch my duplicate champion abilities stays instead of disappearing...

@HandlesIThoughtOfWereAllTaken That's exactly how I felt. Didn't want to risk it after all the progress I've made through the months and, eventually, years. I believe it's totally worth it. If it doesn't feel right to you, don't risk it. There's a point in the video where you save it at link's house. If anything, after that, you don't like just stop and revert back to that save and you'll have all your progress still. Best of luck in Whichever decision you land on.
The whole thing probably took me around an hour and fifteen minutes, mostly because I misunderstood the part about needing multishot bows, which is on me. Great tutorial, very simple and easy to understand and the inclusion of the chapters are very helpful when I needed a part repeated.
Glad to hear it worked for you! Keep that blank autosave if you can for later as you can use it to create and load corrupted arrows and items onto your main save as desired. I’ll be covering this next!

This took like 4 hours the first time for me because I didn’t get enough offset originally, and the second time when I was doing it for a for a friend and I managed to die in the dark beast ganon fight, and I ended up with a tripled inventory.

I love this method of getting the Bow of Light outside the Beast Ganon fight! I have been waiting a long time to get the BoL on my save. This is so much better than the other method that involves starting a new game and reaching Ganon without dying any. I'll probably try the weapon modifier transfer that is in your new video next. Confirmed working still as of March 2023.
In total it took me about an hour and a half, hardest part was getting used to the final inputs for Arrowless Offset generation when speaking with the vendor.
I think it was about fifteen attempts to get the dpad down + a input correct. The inputs must be performed very fast, almost simultaneously but not quite.
Noteworthy Tip: You can teleport to Hyrule Castle and back without any issues. No need to run or glitch that part, it is completely safe.

Stayed up because I accumulated too many auto saves to want to resell all my stuff again. Accidentally made to many offset slots at the end and had no inventory when I went to drop my items. I was able to pick up what I had dropped, only three items and inventory came back. Dropped the items and continued with the process. Ended up bringing the 2 weapons and shield I had put on the wall back with, effectively but inadvertently duplicating the weapons. Can’t wait to master this😎👍

A note for you and anyone trying this, the two weapons on the last step MUST BE one handed weapons. It does not work with two handed, in my experience.

Same experience here I had a crusher and ancient spear if u do mange to accidentally not have 2 single handed weapons fight the silver boko near hateno village and grab a soup ladle from the cooking area

Oh, actually, I managed to do this with the first weapon being two handed and switching to a one handed one.
I followed all the steps and was originally scared because the bow didn’t show in “bows and arrows”, I had to slide to the right of “key items” and it was there. Was still able to equip it and mount it. PHEW thanks man A LOT. After I took it from the mount it returned to the normal bow inventory.
Ive never commented in my life but this actually works and it's insane everyone should try this out because if you follow along you genuinely get the bow in game no hidden catches without losing anything at all despite how scary selling all your stuff may seem in the beginning (you get it back)
It’s all a bit unbelievable. Sounds too good to be true but actually as advertised. I just wish I’d been clearer during the “sell all your stuff” part that you’d get it all back as long as you don’t manually save while your inventory is cleared. The purpose of getting rid of as much as you can is to reduce the number of slots required to trick the game into clearing out your entire inventory, which is vital to ensure only the BoL is transferred back to your target safe at the end.
Things I recommend as doing this glitch:
- Don't be afraid to rewatch the video for extra steps. Watch what he does carefully.
- Grab a pen and paper. Count the amount of times you've done offset and for the caluclation, procede carefully.
- It's very easy to get stressed about this glitch since it seems scary, but just remain calm and focus.
- REMEMBER X IS NOT HOW YOU ADD ITEMS TO YOUR ITEM STACK. It costed me SO much time. X is to START holding, A is to ADD to holding.
- If you're unsure, relaunch the game and be safe. Ultimately, it takes just around and hour or so to do, so if you reload it's not catastrophic. The thing that takes the most time is offset generation.
I can't understand how Offeset generating works. I've watched this many times and I can't understand. Must be my ADHD 😆
yeah while i generated my offsets i was very nervous and miscalculated and mess the nuke part up,but still i will try it again this week as im getting more familiar with this glitch,and even tho its really stressfull im having soo much fun

@@endernotchstaff2306 no. That was just his number. Whatever key items you have (more or less) you count those and include the key items that can be duplicated by 2. Any arrow slots and unsellable armor and stuff by two. That will be your number of offsets you'd have to create.

I thought I would mess up along the way, but I succeeded all in one go! This really worked out for me and only problem I had was with the whistling 1 frame talk which took about 8 attempts or and one thing I thought to myself was just: "immediately press A after clicking the downpad, get that trigger finger ready".

@@bossedup957 you really have to wait till link does "something special" with his shield. You don't unequip it as soon as you see it, only as soon as he starts getting it from behind of his back. Maybe that's the reason?

I genuinely thought I had ruined the game too much at points, as it started giving me extra pages for materials and bows to the _right_ of the Key Items page. These pages had limited functionality and kinda screwed up the menu, but it all worked out perfectly in the end so thank you, and I'm definitely subscribing as that was a very well made tutorial

Lesson for others: It’s okay to keep the bow of light equipped when nuking your inventory.
I thought I screwed up when I forgot to dequip the bow of light when dropping everything. My inventory cleared but I still had the bow of light equipped and couldn’t remove it. It spooked me and I fumbled everything. My buffer wasn’t big enough to save me and I had to reset.
That was the one part that the words alone weren’t enough to follow it by, but I did load the autosave that was made and I no longer had the bow equipped. So it worked out.
This is confusing, is it okay or not okay to have it wquipped when you close and reopen the game? Originally you say its okay but later you said you fumbled it.

I've always been scared of irreparably damaging my save file using inventory slot transfer, but this tutorial made it really fun and easy, and safe seeing as there's a hard save to fall back on. Thanks for the tutorial!
Glad it helped! A lot of people either don't pay attention to the "keep a hard save as a backup" step at the beginning or somehow accidentally overwrite it with a new manual save due to sheer muscle memory, so I'm glad you listened and were able to get your BoL :D

Awesome! I just got the Bow of Light on my main file. I can say that this glitch works on emulators (as I'm playing on Cemu). However, just to report, when I loaded the autosave outside the Sanctum, neither my arrow stacks nor my Champion Abilities were duplicated (the Master Sword, the Spirit Orbs and the Korok seeds were). It took me a good amount of tries for the Arrowless Offset, but everything else worked like a charm!!! Thanks!
Just completed this today, and transferred the BoL to a fresh Master Mode file. I was very intimidated by the steps TBH, and the Arrowless offset took a bit of practice to perform correctly, but was able to execute this thanks to the comprehensive tutorial. This transfer glitch and video are impressive!

Okay guys I spent about 4 hours on this here is some tips.
You can go from a regular mode to master mode. You have to load a master mode file, load back into the dup save, then load back into master mode and the bow of light will be there.
I had issues with the Nuking inventory step. I corrected this by overshooting my overset. So if you have 30 do 40.

Thanks sooo much I did it all on master mode and it worked perfectly I was really scared to do it on master mode because of how there is only 2 save files but it worked perfectly!
You could make it in normal mode and then in last step load your master mode file to transfert the bow of light to lower the risk

How do i get the master sword back
so I'm getting stuck on the boss rush so that's fun, but I may have just discovered something, dying in the boss rush obviously loads my quick save duping stuff again, but when my far left stack of shock arrows hit 0 and I died again all the shock arrow slots disappeared, not even a 0 stack anymore.
edit: started over because to much duped armor and the same effect did not happen, idk how to reproduce it.
It took me so long to do the first offset with the bows, but this was totally worth it. After 6 years and 775 hours of play time I have the Bow of Light.

When I was doing this glitch, I noticed my stuff was disappearing after started heading towards Gannon, to fix this, grab any weapon/shield and make sure to scroll all the way in your inventory since your menu can get rearranged. one thing i can`t understand, is that on 1:15 and 5:36 you show that you have an empty inventory slot in your bow stash to receive the bow of light. but then later when you go to steal the bow of light after saying that you should alter your inventory as little as possible, at 6:22 there is a brand new royal bow next to the bow of light. when did it get there and why do you have it if the inventory slot was supposed to be kept empty.

IF my goal is to just get the 220 attack 10 shot (linear & spread) Bow of Lights, it looks like I can do this:
1. Start with the save file on 9:45
2. Go out farming dragon horns and other required materials
3. Cook 59 apples, then cook the target recipe
4. Perform WMC
5. Finally, transfer the corrupted BoL back to the main progress save.
Do you see any issue with this approach?

10:25 For this I was having trouble because link was not holding the shield you have to make sure you have one handed weapons cause link doesn’t use his shield for the two handed ones. I managed to figure this out hope this helps!

Im so mad. I tried for so freaking long and i FINALLY got the bow of light into my mastermode file. BUT THEN i go pick up a stick, the bow in the woods on the great platue, and some comsumables to see my bow of light and master sword. THEN i go pick up a rock to get a korok autosave. i get the auto save so i close the game and re open it. i load that auto save AND ITS ALL GONE. There was nothing in my inventore and i have no clue what went wrong. please help ive been trying for hours and hours.
You still have negative mCount, probably you forgot to close and reload during one of the later steps (before generating arrowless offset) in order to reset the IST glitch. If you can reload your hard save and try again.
I messed up on one of the ending steps and almost had a heart attack, thank God for that auto save by the shrine... still working on getting the bow 💪🏼

Excellent tutorial, I repeated the arrowless offset part more times than necessary because i thought that I was doing something wrong when i saw duped champion abilities. It was just a matter of restart the game and load the autosave
This video is quite epic, I didn’t even want the bow of light for the damage or looks, I just wanted an unbreakable bow for general use lol
Edit: I also have a quick question, if I do the final boss again, will getting the bow of light from the dark beast fight mess up anything?
tried the fight with the bow of light, nothing happened, although iirc there was some weird duplicating of the bow but it was fixed after the battle
Nope, it cant mess up anything because if your done with the ganon fight your autosave infront of the room before ganon will be loaded. While the fight you should have like 3 bows of light but that will be fixed after the fight as i already said.

i’m getting the issue when i warp to hyrule castle to fight the bosses, all of my equipment is gone, like all of my armor, weapons, even key items. any idea why this is happening?
Also, sometimes when i hold the item to throw it back down, it says that i can’t hold it here. if this happens, will it still work?

what if i already have bow of light on my normal save file and want to transfer it onto master mode, is there a way to put it faster than doing all this again?
Back 1 year later, did this on my master mode file and I’m so happy rn, if you don’t have a clear inventory like his fast travel to other villages, but their stuff, get as many materials As possible and create offset with them and load the file and it should be there

Do all the steps in normal mode, except in the final step load your master mode save instead of normal mode
This tutorial is so good. My only issue is I started messing with the bow around and now I just have a normal file with the bow of light and I have no idea of how to transfer it to the master mode, where my main save is. Any tips?
Do the final transfer step, but instead of loading the normal target save, switch to master mode and load that save
If you pick all your bows back up, do you lose any offset slots?
Got a video in my recommended showcasing an OP bow that was created using this method and then it lead me to you. Just did this for both regular and master mode. Great tutorial. Going to corrupt my weapons, bows, and shields this Friday and duplicate them to have extra lol.

dude idk how but all my weapons fell into the backrooms
2 minutes later: i got to hyrule castle and get one apple. the apple makes everything appear again, its also loaded to the left of "key items"

Dude I never comment on RUclips videos but god dang if I wasn't trying to find an easier way to do this for awhile now and this video was so much help. I finally got the BOW OF LIGHT haha thanks man
during the last step (where you trigger an autosave then reopen the game) the inventory will show extra key items, do not worry about this just continue the steps as normal the extra blank key items will disappear from the menu
But the equipment stayed what do I do?

Thank you so much! I managed to do it on my 2nd try. What happened to my 1st try is that while I was doing Offset Generation, idk what happened exactly but the game told me “You can’t hold that here” and so I panicked thinking “oh hell nah this shit just got way too off the tracks for me” and I reset the whole process to be safe. Good tutorial.

An important thing to note is that you cannot die during the Calamity Ganon fight.
It happened to me and I ended up with not duplicated, but triplicated arrow stacks, key items and armour.
Luckily I knew what to do so I closed the game and reloaded the hard save I had made in Link's house in order to deactivate the glitch and get all of my stuff back.
