What a legend - really is the best video out there to explain this gimbal. I was confused about the 3rd balance point but this helped clear it up! Also the only video I found that explained about the rumbling, why it happened and how to fix it! Was driving me mad when everything was balanced but I still had slight vibrations - thank you so much for this.
thank you very much this was VERY helpuful!!! I've watched countless videos that explained in such a hard way and when I came across your video it was simple and smooth to the point, thanks for sharing.
:) that means so much to me Briana. I am so thankful that I was able to help and make it as easy as possible. Literally my goal here :D have fun with your new gimbal.
Great job Steve. Found your video after viewing other step by step videos. Most informative G6 Max setup video I have seen. Thank you very much for taking the time to create this.
hi ! great video...did everything you did but on a certain point when I tilt the gimbal forward it starts shaking...you went into motor settings by double clicking power, however did not catch you what you are suppose to do there ? would very much appreciate your replay.
This was a very good instructional video! I also have the M50 camera and have tried this 3 times with no success. It doesn't balance and it shakes like crazy. I bought this to try and get smoother footage but to spend this time to balance it every time I have to change a battery or zoom is just crazy. There has to be an easier way. I think I am going to send it back but regardless, this was the best tutorial!! Nice job!
thank you J&M. after using it for a bit i came to the same conclusion. it works fine most of the time if i do not have a mic on top but if i DO have a mic attached then its wonky sometimes. Maybe its just NOT that compatible? I haven't \ used it in a while but i'll probably try to test it again in the near future. :D
the two upper wheels of mine are locked, there is no way to turn them, does anyone know why? I bought it pre-owned, I don't know if the previous owner left those two wheels blocked. The one at the bottom that connects with the handle does rotate. I appreciate your help
@@SteveSantoianni Man its an amazing piece of equipment. Its my first mirrorless camera and I am doing wonderful things with it paired with the Sigma 16mm F1.4
@@SteveSantoianni You need to, totally worth it. I watched a bunch of videos before I made up my mind. Now I am budgeting for 50mm Sigma Zoom Lens, I am addicted.
Great video was very helpful. One setting I haven't been able to figure out. I want the camera to stay pointed forward no matter what I do but it keeps yawing when I move, rotate my body or the gimbal. What setting just keeps it level and pointing forward?
the more i play with it the more i think this gimbal is really for a cell phone. as you stated it does't work PERFECTLY with small cameras. i had the same problems as you lately.
@@SteveSantoianni So it's not a problem with my set up but a short coming of the gimbal. I am trying to use it on a my Lumix G7 and there are other issues as well so I think I should just send it back.
I had no problem connecting to the app on my with the g6max until I updated the firmware through the app, now it won't connect anymore. I have restarted everything, re-downloaded, etc. Nothing, any advice?
I know you said you have tried everything but have you removed the device from your phone Bluetooth and have you removed your phone connection in the app?
you should adjust every time. when you take it off you might not put it back on the plate perfectly. and you might add a mic etc. also when you put it back in the box you move the parts around. so its not that big of a deal. once you get the hang of it, it takes like 5 minutes each time or less.
My Feiyutech G6Max suddenly won't power on. But if I connect to a power bank or on a wall charger it will power on, and it will turn off if ai disconnect from the power bank or wall charger. In short, it won't power on by itself using it's own battery on the gimbal. Is there any way I can fix this one? :(
I’m guessing you’ve tried to charge it plugged in for a long period of time. If the battery still isn’t charging it might be damaged. Has this been happening for a while?
Mannn i feel you. before i recorded this video it took me a while to understand the instructions. its basically trial and error. you have to keep sliding those damn bars until its perfect. at first its a pain in the butt, but once you do it the first time you wont forget.

Thank you.. I love how your instructions are so clear and you don’t assume we know about the gimbal already like many other videos! I subscribed!
Thank you. This is exactly what I’m trying to do.
Agreed the best video explanation for Feiyutech G6 Max , nice work .
Thank you so much. :)

Hey there. I no longer own this Gimbal so let me try to find it.

have you try motor setting use adapt mode.. that wait it correct all the axis quicker and more accurate..
I’ll have to try this. Thank you.
good
Super
Nice video, do you think can hold a Canon t5i with a 50mm lent?
oh I don't think so that camera is much bigger than an M50. I would say probably not.
@@SteveSantoianni i got it a few week back, works great, thank you for the review

When changing the battery in the camera, do you need to reset the mount plate position every time ?
ooh it's been a while but yes i believe you do

For a smartphone it is esear?
much easier since it's lighter.

The flash keeps hitting the second axils
That is terrible. I never actually tested this with the flash open so this is new information for me.
Do we have to adjust the gimbal every time we put the camera on it or just once in a detailed manner and then just quickly put the camera on?

Will it support eos 750d + 50 mm?
Hi there. I’m not sure. I do not own that camera. The website should have all supported cameras listed though.
