    Witam.

    Hi just wanted to say thanks so much for sharing. Hope your health is improving. We are just beginning in leather. Have made several belts and a "Lord of the rings" style little girl's pouch from another video. Will be making a couple more since we've modified the original pattern a bit. Were it not for all of the outstanding instructions you have shared in your excellent videos we would never had the foggiest on what tools to obtain and most importantly the how-to on using them to make leather bags and such. My end goal is to make a designer bag for my darling wife and daughters. It will be the last item until we get familiar with gluing and sewing seems, linings, zippers and everything else that is involved. Naturally we picked a really involved bag to make or rather my wife did. Just can't tell you how much we appreciate you sharing your expertise. We we are looking forward to following you for a long time in the future as we are confident your medical situation will be keeping you around for a long time. I've been there and I'm 84 and just decided to try leather work. Looking forward to many future videos from a really great guy. Thanks again.. Joe Pero

    Great work! You use the term resistance, then later change to thickness in describing suitable leathers. As a novice, I don’t have a feel for the resistance, so could you provide a suitable thickness range or other concrete description of the leather I should buy? Thanks.

      Hello kdparker2940, You are WELCOME and Thank you for taking the time to watch our videos, if you take a piece of paper and ball it up in your hand and squeeze it tight, do the same with leather, if it feels hard, it's too thick to make this cap! hope this kind of explains it!

    Awesome video. When sowing the liner, you left the pins in. How do you keep your needle from breaking?

    • @ArthurPorter
      @ArthurPorter  4 года назад +1

      Geoffrey Ball make sure your pins are going in the direction I have my pins, your machine needle will skip over them!!

    Very fine Video. I ordered the pattern, and started to cutout the parts. The pattern was missing the darts on the main cap. the side pieces had the darts marked but cant line up without the dat position. Could you post the measurement on the side of the cap part for the darts?Thanks
