Thanks for sharing your ideas on how to take a measurement from a favourite hat. It didn't occur to me to do that. I fomulated a pattern by measuring around my head to complete the hat. I've taken machine needles from the shop before (Schmetz) and I find they are my favourite to get through thick cloth.
This is so nice and you are very clever with using the tape to get an accurate pattern. I do have a question, would you consider making some tutorials on resizing shirts? I purchased some XXL linen and tried to get M/L and it looks sloppy. Any help would be appreciated ❤❤ ❤
Thank you for your comment❣️😊 That sounds like a video idea ! May I ask what kind of a shirt you tried to resize? Men’s button down shirt or women’s blouse, etc…
@@SachisStudio that video helps, I found a linen bed sheet at the thrift store and I want to make the linen dress like you did. I also got 2 pillow cases and a tablecloth out of linen. I am excited to try out the dress. Thank you

maybe not exactly what you’re looking for, but I made men’s button down shirt into my daughter’s shirt here: ruclips.net/video/k3WPZd8cZpc/видео.html

Can you make a tutorial on how to make a simple peaked cap (or also known as the officer's hat, preferably military style, NOT greek fisherman style)
Sorry, I’m not familiar with that style!
I just ise a real brim and pre sew it with machine then slide in brim
that’s one way to do it❣️👍
