I love his answer (at 3:55 minutes) to the question about western politics. "... is struggling with truth" and "also struggling a lot with the idea of weaponizing fear" -Simon is so warm hearted and sincere, he isn't angry and doesn't blame, he explains how he is "heartbroken.... at the opportunistic nature of the divisive approach..." Thanks for this excellent interview and these well researched questions that allowed Simon to express his views.
I loved The Mentalist I thought Patrick Jane was such a great character and I really didn’t want it to end. I’m so looking forward to seeing this film and how Simon’s character develops.
Among all the many qualities attributed to Simon, I never see one, that is his very high intelligence. Its a creative intelligence, and for me, it was this attribute which made me such a fan of The Mentalist, Among the many things I liked about it, was its intelligence. Learning of how much Simon put into this, into harassing directors and doing directing himself, explains it. ( I still wish he'd ditch the beard though :-) )
Well pointed out as the Referendum in Australia wasn’t just to insure the Indigenous didn’t remain “second rate” citizens it primarily became a convoluted hotchpotch of pages upon pages of different agendas including changing the constitution. Both sides of the government botched it up. 😊 Limbo is on ABC iview.
He has so many dimensions, layers and depth to his personality. I think he’s a great actor, director, and genuine human being.
