I know people seem to like his homers more, but personally I really enjoy watching pitcher Ohtani. He's like a different person and the competitiveness is in full display.
He's scary on the mound. Like, he looks so pissed off, he kinda gives me chills from how terrifying he is sometimes.
When Ohtani was with the Fighters, manager Kuriyama, said that Ohtani's personality is better suited as a hitter (id) rather than a pitcher (ego). Also Ohtani has said that when he pitches, he has control over the ball, feels in command.
Love this!! He's so expressive on the mound! Those comebackers tho 0:39 2:50 3:10 his wink 4:42 and that MVP call at 4:54 !!

I think he will improve as a pitcher next year.
He's stated that he still felt he was recovering from his surgery this year so...next year should certainly be interesting...
I was about to comment saying where tf is the clip from when he struck out Chapman with bases loaded. And it came up. That was the best moment of his pitching side this season in my opinion, I shed some tears cause of how cool it was lol

@@halosbrightside3376 It's a scene where he had to walk Olson on purpose at Maddon's direction. As a result, the base was full, and he struck out next hitter and screamed. I think he said that when the bass was full.
Btw, he seemed to say the F word in the play after being balked by the umps.
