You can't see it on the youtube. But in actual 4k monitor while gaming you'll notice blurry in performance mode. I endup using 30 fps since that's what I normally use in GTA V I like better graphics than FPS.
i dont see much diff, the thing is the devs have done a really great job by taking all the reflections and the shadows in the game by raytracing and used it for pure rasterization, i think thats the only possiblity for such a great optimisation. Other games have done it too. By the way im not forgetting the launch LOL. i preordered the game.
Rhis shoud be called quality and performance mode, Im nearly 50hrs in the game and switched modes multiple times, the lighting never change, I can barely tell the difference wirh the resolution from where Im sitting and I would never tell theres a difference in draw distance but playing it at 30 and 60 fps makes a real difference

showing off so many things in this comparison is a lot of effort and very conclusive if you cant decide between the two. however i do think its quite misleading as the only things changed in the ray tracing mode from the performance mode (apart from the obvious 30fps drop) is the addition of ray traced shadows and a slightly better resolution. if you dont care about either of those things there is no reason to play on rt mode. but i do think there is a large bump in the mood of the game in indoor areas with lots of light, intimate scenes where youre talking one on one etc. in the rt mode. but yeah basically if you dont care about shadows theres no reason to play rt mode over performance mode.

Agreed. I just started the game yesterday. I find the main thing is HDR and then I've put Ray Tracing in addition to that. I don't really feel any negative effects of the 30 frames
yes, the last update made the two modes very similar, the biggest difference apart from 60fps is Ambient Occlusion in ray-tracing mode which has more present shadows
Hello, I have been looking for an answer to my problem for days, but I couldn't find it. While playing cyberpunk, the fps drops in crowded environments or while driving in the city and it is very noticeable. I am playing PS5 Ultimate Edition and my PS5 is only 1 month old. Can you please tell me if the problem is in my console or in the game?

I can only report to you my findings and the game is sub par on console. The best way to play this game is with realistic mods with high PC settings. I only recently bought the game in 2024 hoping that it would be good, and I gotta say I was impressed......until I attacked an NPC from behind with a Samurai Sword and he floated off around 50-60 feet away from me without moving his legs. Fans will say its great but it ain't, not with the standard game on console its not.
there is a graphical and performance improvement on the ps5, shadow, lighting, pop-in, textures, and especially the much more fluid performance, there is a video on the channel comparing the ps4 vs ps5 versions
O pior Ray trancing que já vi, praticamente não muda nada nem reflexo tem, a única coisa que muda e algumas luzes e mais nada, testei meu Pc e ps5 lado lado e triste ver que no ps5 e uma total mentira que CD Pj faz nos consoles, já ps5 e Xbox tem capacidade de ter um raytrancing de verdade.

As últimas atualizações deixaram o modo desempenho muito bacana, no lançamento do jogo era mais borrado este modo

I think you are a subject person, there is no difference that can be seen since it is rescaled to 4k and you see it at 4k
Then i guess performance mode will be better for me because my tv is only fhd
If you realize, in Quality mode, you'll get more cars and NPCs on the road compared to Performance mode
Density on quality is medium and on performance is low

Só jogo no modo qualidade por causa da resolução, pq o RT não muda nada praticamente

When I enter Dogtown city the frame rate drops to 30 frame anyone have the same problem?
In my tests walking around the city, the RT mode has a drop of 1 frame rate, and the Performance mode 3 frame rate
But sometimes ı have fps drop on performance mode
Yes, even though it is the most stable mode it still presents some drops, in one of my tests it briefly dropped to 54fps when driving in the city
