Notes & Updates: For Vanilla enjoyers who want the GITS fixes and features, just use the Fuji Env or Fuji Env basic without installing any LUT. You'll get vanilla colours with all the GITS features, it is what I used to capture the reLIGHT clips here 03:00. Updates on some fixes since the video was uploaded: 1. The rain/weather fix has dropped so you shouldn't experience rain or weath transition issues anymore if you have the latest version of GITS. It seems this bug only affected the AIO files, the env's worked fine. 2. The fast travel bug has been determined to affect newly discovered fast travel points(they wont show up on the map). This explains why the author, the testers and myself didnt experience the bug, we were using end game saves. The fast travel fixer file will address this and there is a more permanent fix in the works. I am currently using the Fuji all in one, but the Kuria looks nice too. Another idea I am entertaining is to try the Fuji env with the E3 2018 LUT, a combination that might fix the washed out look of the latter.
That's an idea. I think it's nice to have the gits env with the relight features and such, opens up lots of lut combinations without giving up the features.
just wanna say, im using the fuji env with the e3 2018 lut, and its definitely my favorite combination of lighting mods. the colors look amazing, and ive had 0 issues with it after about a month of use :D i definitely recommend it!
I'm using NCLM combined with Nova LUT. It was the best lighting i could get, with perfect colors and clarity (for me). Because only the Nova LUT still left some parts too dark, and the NCLM is too colorful in my opinion. And this combination of the two was perfect for me, good colors with good clarity. GITS was too dark, i could even test this new version, but my combination is so perfect for me, i'm not even going to change it. (I play on a screen without HDR).
On sunny days Vanilla is much better that any of these mods with washed out incomplete color palette. The rain in moded versions is much better i agree
That's why it's such a huge deal that gits 3.X released the full env with all sfx this time. Prior to this we either had to use the full gits(plus LUT), or the plain env without sfx. I should have dedicated a part of the video to emphasize this more in hindsight. Just using the Fuji env with no LUT gives vanilla colours with all the fixes and sfx(including rain). It's a great option for those who don't want to change the look from vanilla but want the other enhancements. It's what I used to capture the relight parts at Abt 03:00.
Does 3.X fix the poor draw distance that Cyberpunk patch 2.00 or 2.10 introduced to the game? Ever since Phantom Liberty I'm getting really poor draw distance, almost everything looks blurry from 5 feet or beyond away and when I get near will it only render the actual textures (ads, screens, store name LEDs, etc) edit: looks like it did not, judging by the video clip, example is at 5:50, you can see the LED ads in the middle of the road when you're cruising through, they will look blurry and then will only render the actual ads when you're like within 5 feet away from them... It's as if CDPR made it so that there are preset textures for ads and will only render at near distance, thus improving framerate stability, although in this case there's really no performance improvement change from pre-2.0 patch to this.
Unfortunately I think 2.0 messed up a lot of the draw distance stuff at its core, a lot of the draw distance mods broke and the few that exist only partially fix things. The ad rendering is particularly annoying for me. It's really the inconsistency that bugs me, some things render fine from real far away, other things don't until you are like 3 ft from it.
In legacy the sky looks blown out and you can barely make out the clouds. I hope this gets fixed in the future. Thank you for the in depth video. :) I personally prefer Nova, but i like to watch about other mods too, it's fascinating.
Yep for non themed general play Nova is definitely my go to. I'm kinda struggling to choose between pure 2.2 and supernova though, the more I use supernova the more I like it.
GITS is really good for nighttime, interiors, and cloudy or rainy weather, but it's too dark for daylight, especially in the badlands. This is California, not winter in Iceland. Thanks for the comparisons 👍.
could you share reshade settings for supernova+gits fuji? currently using your nova lut reshade settings from your personal setup video but idk if that's optimal for supernova and I'm not familiar with making this kinda stuff on my own. thanks.
Using the Fuji ENV without any LUT with full RT and it looks great and all the fixes really make a big difference...at first I thought the Fuji ENV had a LUT with it because it was such a drastic change to vanilla. One side effect I have found is that it completely fixes the screen edge ghosting while using DLSS to FSR 3 mod. Even the seperate ghost fix mod didn't fix it but somehow GIT did it...stange. The one down side I have found is that GIT seems to have tanked Dogtown performance but it runs perfectly in all the base game areas. Not sure why that is the case but something about Dogtown really doesn't mesh well with the Fugi ENV files.
It's cool that there are so many different lighting mods out there that allow people to get the game glowing the way they want or suit the theme they're after. I personally still prefer the vibe of something like NCLM but these are killer thematically and relight looks like something I want to experience. Nice showcase and presentation as always, Krush. Thanks.

lets go Krush SG my broo, GITS FUJI + Preem with my custom reshade ( to reduce a bit blue ) is my favorite combo ( also bloom off, reshade bloom were better bth ).
Holograms are supposed to **not** cast light FYI. They're created by focusing laser beams through a special pattern. Lasers have near-infinite focus, meaning they don't spread out like regular light sources, which is why lasers don't cast light. These "fixes" are actually immersion-breaking. The rain and blinking lights look great though.

Ey man, just a curious thing. Why are you using psycho SSR? Is it because of some mod or something? Because going ray tracing reflection is literally cheaper then going psycho SSR and looks twice as good.

RT resources are shared in cyberpunk so the first RT setting you enable(doesn't matter which one it is) is gonna be hugely expensive and subsequent ones cost far less fps cos RT is already "on". So if you are comparing the 2 with RT On but just flipping between RTR and Psycho SSR, psycho ssr is gonna cost more fps. But if you are comparing it with RT Off(how I run the game), then flip between psycho ssr and RTR, RTR costs more. 4) RTR looks horrible on default ini settings (half resolution tracing etc) with an amd card without ray reconstruction, to my eyes anyway.
