witcher 3 next gen upgrade is very noticeable like we can say there is a huge difference from ps 4 to ps 5. and the upgrade is totally free. unlike gta v ps 4 and ps 5 versions when there is a tiny difference.
There’s also Fan favorite mods implemented for consoles. The HD Rework Project is the main mod that gives more fidelity and higher resolution textures. But there’s also one that updates the textures of every single monster in the game, including adding some special variants. Theres also a ton more I can’t recall. Pretty neat though that console players can get a semi modded version of this game.
sadly i don't have a ps5 and I am only playing the witcher 3 on PS4. The game stil works well but with a few minor bugs. Does the PS5 version have less bugs than the PS4 version?
nothing to be sad about, youre not missing out on anything imo. next gen makes the water flat like a mirror (ray-tracing)...the textures are all washed out for ''realism'' i guess its all bland and ugly. i prefer the yellow glow/tone more and the more vibrant colors...gives that fantasy vibe. the distant trees are all static almost, in oldgen they bend very far and are very windy (looked 10 times better) watch the vid again and take a look at these points and see for yourself...indoor raytracing looks good tho in cities and buildings there are a few good points like new combat system (perks etc) and nerfs and buffs to certain playstyles and a few new quests and armor but overall for looks, i was looking forward to it playing on a xbox one X to the next gen, but since i got a pc and tried it....nope rolled back to classic with no regrets next gen higly overrated
Ps5 performance have worser lightning interiers and global illumination like ps4 vesion thats really shit. Second side ps5 rt mode is ok way better but ubplayable stutter. So, we waiting for next gen console
They didnt even change the art style dude are you dumb? Its not like they added celshading or something. They just added ray tracing, improved some static meshes and changed the sky textures.

The old grass blends well and creates a cool look, the new grass while higher in resolution looks like it was tacked on. look at the old grass on the left: 1:35 and then the new grass; see how it completely butchers the intended blending between the ground and grass which looked awesome. Now it looks it just doesn't fit. And the floor texture in Novigrad, the new texture has bump and it looks AWFUL. I've never seen bump this bad in a triple A game ever. The Novigrad example isn't very obvious here check other videos, or play the game yourself and compare.

個人感受，ps4 畫質玩起來反而有一種玄幻的感覺，像是畫動了起來有加分的效果。ps5 畫質變清晰之後，樹的飄動變少了反而顯得無聊，玄幻的感覺消失了，接近真實但又不夠真實反而成了減分的效果。

Better upgrade than cyberpunk on ps5 where raytracing doesn’t do anything but reduce performance.
I played it on ps4, now im playing it again on ps5, for a budget gaming device, it feels like new game
too bad my tv dont support 4k ray trace😂 but performance mode is more than enough for me..always been a framerate guy

Framerate is the same as the PS4 30fps, the difference is that there is not as much drop as on the PS4

Performance mode lighting is basically non existent
next gen versions (xbox x/s & ps5) seem no longer have "fantasy" graphics, they have more realistic looking
