Charlos has been hit twice so far and both involve someone protecting a fishman. The first being Luffy punching him to protect Hatchan/Camie and the second was Mjosgard to protect Shirahoshi. I think the most fitting end would be for a fishman, such as Jinbe, to be the one throwing the third and final punch.

I’ve often felt that it was weird that Lucci, Kaku, and Blueno were able to harm a rubble(sun god) man which characters (Crocodile, Sanji) were constantly surprised to see Luffy injured. Even more amazing since technically, Haki was first shown in great detail after Enies Lobby.

I think you’re right in that it’s unlikely for the celestial dragons to just be killed. I think a typical Oda move would be to have them shipped of to some deserted island and being forced to work as particularly poor farmers for the rest of their existence. I think one thing that has been overlooked a bit is the fact that punk records and Vegapunks plan to connect it to every person in the world through some yet to be specified technology has the potential to cause a revolution across the entire world (depending on the information it contains) which could seriously lead to the finale of OP.
I really hope someone else than Luffy is gonna be Rob Lucci's opponent, I want to see how far another straw hat (preferably Franky, Robin or even Usopp) has come since the water 7 saga by having them defeat Lucci.
I would actually preffer to see Lucci and Kaku try to go against Luffy and Zoro, only to get absolutely obliterated by them this time. I really want to see a big Yonko-level flex from the Strawhats, with them one-shotting a decently strong opponent, similarly to the way Kaido and Big Mom often did.
We’re all talking about how Lucci and CP0 don’t feel as threatening, especially not as much as they did back in Water 7, but there is one person here who’s never seen defeat (aside from the new characters): Hattori, the final boss of Cipher Pol.
I love One Piece and it's unmatched world-building but watching the anime weekly isn't something I can do anymore. It's probably because so much good anime comes out now, which has amazing episodes with a lot faster pace. The pace of the anime is just not bearable. I have been watching one fight at a time since some anime started airing and concluded. I will definitely come back to watch One Piece but probably in bulk.

I think that Lilith is set up as a red herring. She’s the most obviously ‘evil’ because of her name and her epithet, right. But what I see from her seems more like impulse, instinct and emotion. Meanwhile, Shaka, the wise, good one, seems very purely rational. It would be a very Oda thing if Shaka ends up being the betrayer. It would also likely increase the stakes because Shaka is likely the most shrewd and calculating of the six Punks.
If shaka will turn on the strawhats i wonder why hes keeping the charade up even as CP0 has arrived unless hes gonna pull a buggy(have everyone battle as he retreats lol) its still possible as a twist
@@mokaljordan The reason I think Shaka might be the one to betray everybody is because he is the most rational, and seemingly 'good' one of the Punks. Not only does it seem very Oda-like narratively to throw such a curveball, but people can take crazy actions when they are going only by rationale. On top of that, Shaka would be a far bigger threat than any of the other Punks, because he seems the most capable and calculating. It may make the arc more suspenseful. Shaka is the only Punk that hides his face, while the other five have very clear personalities. He just gives me that vibe, you know. I'm reminded of that episode of Rick & Morty where Rick gets detoxified. His detoxified 'good' self was left with his pure rationale, and got rid of everything that he deemed toxic to himself, including 'good' things like his attachment to family. Lilith might be a little sh*t, but I think she ultimately won't be the betrayer. She seems too emotionally invested in their whole operation to be the one to betray them. If that makes any sense.

So this is something everyone who is knocking lucci or cp0. 1-the 6 powers are essentially the supreme martial arts of one piece and masters in martial arts still train so there is always the ease of writing in a couple panels of these guys training. This is easily supported by the things introduced by garp. 2- it’s also very easy for Oda to just leave them weak and use them for more building if the secret groups actions and more about the world government inner workings. So summarize there isn’t a need to justify if they are stronger or could be stronger because the frame work is exists for both. We should be discussing what lucci means for the lore and shift in island hopping predictions

Between buster calls, Whatever was used a few chapters back to wipe out that island Sabo was on, the massive amount of supped up fighters like Akienu, and the massive technological advantages which i believe have not all been shown- There is no one who can fight.

@@texedits1679 Haki is explained by Rayleigh as being “made” of spiritual energy, but it also requires willpower to use. Think of Haki like a faucet, the water that flows out is spiritual energy but the piping that is required to make it flow is willpower.

I always knew that the powers were different from haki but I've also always thought of the six powers as like a stepping stone to make it easier for you to eventually learn haki if you rise to the appropriate rank

They're become a huge liability on multiple levels and whatever promise was made to their ancestors during the void century probably isn't worth it for Imu at this sensitive time in one piece for the world government. Either way Doflamingo ironically is in the safest place any (ex) celestial dragon can be.
I'm really curious to see how the Donquixote Dogflamingo story ends (assuming it has a proper ending)... It's interesting how Liam said young women are particularly immune from present day death in One Piece, since when it comes to some of the few deaths that actually happen in the current timeline, one my go-to examples would be Monet, and how she literally got stabbed in the heart (which I find kind of funny in that it feels like Oda wrote himself into a corner with this, like he couldn't fall back onto his "oh no, they're just fine" tendencies after he deliberately and explicitly showed that person's heart getting impaled).

The weird thing for me is that I had an idea of if the Straw Hats fight CP0, which given the context that seems more than likely the fights would be of the following. -Zoro vs Lucci -Sanji vs Kaku -Robin vs Stussy That's something that I thought up given the context of things so just take it with a grain of salt.
Don't forget... Lucci is a psychopath. He may not have another Enny's Lobby-esque slugfest with Luffy, but I can imagine a situation where he tries to capture and torture a weaker strawhat (like say... their infamous sniper), to take down Luffy from a psychological standpoint. Luffy's love for his crew is the one weakness that could be exploited to grave results. I am very curious if we will get an explination as to why CP9 didn't know Haki before or if that will be ignored going forward? The only thing I can think of is that the idea of the 6 powers was to have a sort of cheap haki knock off that could be learned by a group much faster than standard Haki but that's just my theory
“Worst case scenario” They have the element of surprise, they’ve already beaten Lucci and Kaku, and CP0 doesn’t have marine support. What is bad about this scenario, I wouldn’t be surprised if the only reason why Zoro and Brooke wouldn’t be able to stop them is because there’s 3 CP0 agents with govt lackeys. Lucci and Stussy will probably just go around them. Only difficult part about this seems to be that its an escort mission

What if the egg from egg head island is related to the egg from Roger ship?! I haven't heard that theory before and I just can't stop thinking about it. It's literally the only other place an egg being so large and in the forefront. The egg on egg head is open what if it was some sort of informational egg the advanced civilization made that Roger incubated on his ship. Roger took the egg to the island in hope that the one to find its knowledge would be someone with such a power as the brain brain fruit. That vaga punk in the right time was literally able to Crack open and have such foundation about the way he built up the island was actually how the past was and not how he made it as a new technological idea.

I think Fishman Island for all it's flaws had a good example of how to make an underpowered villain still feel threatening. Hody Jones was outmatched by Luffy in a fair fight so he did everything he could to tilt the fight in his favor, I'd expect Lucci to do the same except he's a lot smarter and more dangerous about it. I dont really like overpowered protagonists as a rule but Oda's pretty good about keeping the fights interesting even with that.

Pretty sure an SBS confirmed Rokushiki is a bit of a precursor to haki. They have some sort of link so Jinbe comparing armament to tekkai was a nice touch.
I have two theories: 1. Spandex is the leader of cp0. Last time we saw him, his mask was more white than it was in enies lobby, and the members of cp0 all wear white. 2. Cp0 will have fights, but it won't be that big of a deal, it could even be against the Vegapunks. Lucci and Luffy will almost definitely clash, but I think that it's possible we get a smoker situation, where Lucci secretly lets them go, or at least one of the Vegapunks. Or even instead of Luffy, Lucci fights Shaka! for some reason I really wanna see that. For the first time ever, Lucci is doubting the World Government's desicion, and that's the only thing he never questioned: an order from higher-ups. And I don't think that was added for no good reason.
I would actually love to see Usopp take on Lucci, continuing the trend of Usopp's lies coming true, to see him have to make good on his threat back on Enies Lobby.
If original Vegapunk dies, maybe the other six get split up and develop from that point onward as individuals. Shaka goes to Dragon, Lilith to Blackbeard, one with the Strawhats/Bonney, and one or two get taken prisoner by CP0 seeing them more worth alive and under constant surveillance.

Doesn‘t the brainsync every 24h of the vegapunks to the Mainbrain make the idea of different vegapunks secretly conspiring with different factions difficult since it would be revealed near instantly. A shared mainbrain does not allow such individualism that’s Jinbeis whole point. So betrayal, especially a planed one, is in my opinion unlikely

This is because I can't imagine a more diamterically opposite leadership style to Luffy's than Spanda's. Also, wasn't Jyabarra able to use Tekkai Kempo -- Iron Body while moving? Yeah, it's not Armament Haki, but it's not *entirely* dissimilar. I could justify them not knowing Haki as a compartmentalization of power: Cipher Pol knows things & is responsible for covering things up, so you don't want them more powerful than the Marines, who aren't supposed to know things but rather fight pirates. It would probably explain why nobody in the Marines batted an eye at attacking Enies Lobby -- CP9 was never not a potential target. Also, yeah, I thought it was weird that Rob Lucci was recognized by the Marines who were carrying out the Buster Call. It was even a Vice Admiral who told us his backstory. In terms of power scaling... which is obviously incredibly straigth forward and there are never ANY issues with that.... the fact that Luffy stood up to Kaido, and beat him one on one (it doesn't matter if the fight started with it not being a one on one, but most of it was, adn it ended as one) There are so few genuine threats that Luffy can have at this point, not to say there are none, there are still plenty, but someone like Rob Lucci.. I mean if he could beat Kaido (through the transitive property of him being able to defeat Luffy) then why wouldn't the WG just launch an all out offensive and take down the emperors lol

Yes, we all know that many people chipped in to lower Kaido's health bar too, but the fact is Luffy was doing actual BIG damage to Kaido between advanced armament and advanced conqueror's Haki, and that was even without Gear 4th or Gear 5th. Unless Lucci now somehow has all versions of advanced Haki too, there should be no way for him to keep up with someone who was able to keep up with Kaido. The only realistic way for Lucci to be a threat to Luffy, is because of Luffy's penchant for not taking things seriously from the start and playing around too much. But given what he's done so far, and opponents he's fought, there is no way that Lucci should be able to stand up to a serious Luffy at all. Even without G4th or G5th.
I feel like luffy will get to a point in strength where they will have to double team him with admirals just to have a chance that is what I am looking forward too, while also letting his crew do the work at the start.

I’ve often felt that it was weird that Lucci, Kaku, and Blueno were able to harm a rubble(sun god) man which characters (Crocodile, Sanji) were constantly surprised to see Luffy injured. Even more amazing since technically, Haki was first shown in great detail after Enies Lobby.

I think you’re right in that it’s unlikely for the celestial dragons to just be killed. I think a typical Oda move would be to have them shipped of to some deserted island and being forced to work as particularly poor farmers for the rest of their existence.
I think one thing that has been overlooked a bit is the fact that punk records and Vegapunks plan to connect it to every person in the world through some yet to be specified technology has the potential to cause a revolution across the entire world (depending on the information it contains) which could seriously lead to the finale of OP.

I love One Piece and it's unmatched world-building but watching the anime weekly isn't something I can do anymore. It's probably because so much good anime comes out now, which has amazing episodes with a lot faster pace. The pace of the anime is just not bearable. I have been watching one fight at a time since some anime started airing and concluded. I will definitely come back to watch One Piece but probably in bulk.

@@mokaljordan The reason I think Shaka might be the one to betray everybody is because he is the most rational, and seemingly 'good' one of the Punks. Not only does it seem very Oda-like narratively to throw such a curveball, but people can take crazy actions when they are going only by rationale. On top of that, Shaka would be a far bigger threat than any of the other Punks, because he seems the most capable and calculating. It may make the arc more suspenseful. Shaka is the only Punk that hides his face, while the other five have very clear personalities. He just gives me that vibe, you know.
I'm reminded of that episode of Rick & Morty where Rick gets detoxified. His detoxified 'good' self was left with his pure rationale, and got rid of everything that he deemed toxic to himself, including 'good' things like his attachment to family.

1-the 6 powers are essentially the supreme martial arts of one piece and masters in martial arts still train so there is always the ease of writing in a couple panels of these guys training. This is easily supported by the things introduced by garp.
2- it’s also very easy for Oda to just leave them weak and use them for more building if the secret groups actions and more about the world government inner workings.
So summarize there isn’t a need to justify if they are stronger or could be stronger because the frame work is exists for both. We should be discussing what lucci means for the lore and shift in island hopping predictions

I always knew that the powers were different from haki but I've also always thought of the six powers as like a stepping stone to make it easier for you to eventually learn haki if you rise to the appropriate rank

The weird thing for me is that I had an idea of if the Straw Hats fight CP0, which given the context that seems more than likely the fights would be of the following.

Those who are thinking that Lucci has same level of strength as Luffy and it will be a hard fight for straw hat, don't. This entire arc is a small scale fish man arc to show us what is the power of a Yonko is really in the world of One Piece.
I think Fishman Island for all it's flaws had a good example of how to make an underpowered villain still feel threatening. Hody Jones was outmatched by Luffy in a fair fight so he did everything he could to tilt the fight in his favor, I'd expect Lucci to do the same except he's a lot smarter and more dangerous about it. I dont really like overpowered protagonists as a rule but Oda's pretty good about keeping the fights interesting even with that.

I have two theories:
1. Spandex is the leader of cp0. Last time we saw him, his mask was more white than it was in enies lobby, and the members of cp0 all wear white.
2. Cp0 will have fights, but it won't be that big of a deal, it could even be against the Vegapunks. Lucci and Luffy will almost definitely clash, but I think that it's possible we get a smoker situation, where Lucci secretly lets them go, or at least one of the Vegapunks. Or even instead of Luffy, Lucci fights Shaka! for some reason I really wanna see that. For the first time ever, Lucci is doubting the World Government's desicion, and that's the only thing he never questioned: an order from higher-ups. And I don't think that was added for no good reason.
I would actually love to see Usopp take on Lucci, continuing the trend of Usopp's lies coming true, to see him have to make good on his threat back on Enies Lobby.
If original Vegapunk dies, maybe the other six get split up and develop from that point onward as individuals.

Also, wasn't Jyabarra able to use Tekkai Kempo -- Iron Body while moving? Yeah, it's not Armament Haki, but it's not *entirely* dissimilar. I could justify them not knowing Haki as a compartmentalization of power: Cipher Pol knows things & is responsible for covering things up, so you don't want them more powerful than the Marines, who aren't supposed to know things but rather fight pirates. It would probably explain why nobody in the Marines batted an eye at attacking Enies Lobby -- CP9 was never not a potential target.
Also, yeah, I thought it was weird that Rob Lucci was recognized by the Marines who were carrying out the Buster Call. It was even a Vice Admiral who told us his backstory. I could undertand CP0 being celebrities as they are behind masks & thus can go off on missions incognito when necessary, but nobody should have known who Rob Lucci was.

My idea for the world nobles is that oda will make a new character who will seek out every pirate to go and raid the world gov and this character might be apart of the revolutionary army so maybe if this was to happen then everyone would overpower the marines and luffy with a few other captains can take care of akainu

Scotty Shaffer is a RUclipsr who recently made a video about the company in question, where he basically pointed out all the shadyness going on. Even going as far as to say it is a scam. Someordenarygamers (he was also sponsored by them) already adressed the situation on his channel.

Um, are we certain that Lucci was talking about Who's Who on that panel in Enies Lobby? I always thought it was clear that he was talking about Spandam.
Lucci was praising Luffy for being a good leader/captain for his team, thus comparing him to Spandam since he was the "leader" (big quotes there) of CP9 at that point, and how much of an incompetent and egotistical screwup he was in comparition.
In terms of power scaling... which is obviously incredibly straigth forward and there are never ANY issues with that.... the fact that Luffy stood up to Kaido, and beat him one on one (it doesn't matter if the fight started with it not being a one on one, but most of it was, adn it ended as one) There are so few genuine threats that Luffy can have at this point, not to say there are none, there are still plenty, but someone like Rob Lucci.. I mean if he could beat Kaido (through the transitive property of him being able to defeat Luffy) then why wouldn't the WG just launch an all out offensive and take down the emperors lol
Agreed. Yes, we all know that many people chipped in to lower Kaido's health bar too, but the fact is Luffy was doing actual BIG damage to Kaido between advanced armament and advanced conqueror's Haki, and that was even without Gear 4th or Gear 5th.
Unless Lucci now somehow has all versions of advanced Haki too, there should be no way for him to keep up with someone who was able to keep up with Kaido.
The only realistic way for Lucci to be a threat to Luffy, is because of Luffy's penchant for not taking things seriously from the start and playing around too much.
But given what he's done so far, and opponents he's fought, there is no way that Lucci should be able to stand up to a serious Luffy at all. Even without G4th or G5th.
I feel like luffy will get to a point in strength where they will have to double team him with admirals just to have a chance that is what I am looking forward too, while also letting his crew do the work at the start.
I like the theory that CP0 is a prisoner detachment, members who failed and likely to see prison sentences are instead placed in CP0.
I feel like Lillith is going to be the next strawhat member. The crew does still need a scientist
I smell an admiral in the mix. World gov disbanding warlords meant they have the strength to equal yonkos and kizaru is the perfect candidate for a type matchup. Being a traditional logia and consistently being depicted as too reliant on his fruit. Cp0 can also get last minute power up reveals like enies lobby through tech.
