Hi GLR, I have just seen your recent video on dude in a room and I have decided to return to this channel, I am glad you have been uploading lots because I have a lot to catch up in
Something which just occurred to me this chapter is that Kuzan joined the Blackbeard pirates. I’m not sure when I missed this information, or if it just never occurred to me, but seeing the frozen sweet commander in 1063 and actually seeing Kuzan in 1064 was kind of a shock. I know that it was mentioned back on Dressrosa when Blackbeard was talking with Burgeses, and that the 5 elders mentioned it once, but I had to be reminded of these instances by someone else.
7:50 okay see there's another thing. she didn't specifically say that Kuma is the one who is "of a special race." my interpretation was that she was saying vegapunk was a special race, with the implication that because he was a special race he had special permissions to kind of do whatever he wanted. maybe I just misunderstood though.
i loved this, and you're absolutely blowing my mind because you're right! if there is a connection between Vegapunk and Dragon then the scene of Dragon ordering the retrieved Kuma to share what he saw makes perfect sense. The Pacifista's might all be hardwired to be Dragon's hidden force and if so that means that we could get a Marineford-esque scene where the world government bulls out the Pacifista's only for Luffy or Dragon to say "stop... i order you to help us" and the Pacifista's turning with Kizaru looking in annoyance once again saying "never trust pirates" and suddenly getting tossed around.
I once saw a moustached horse in Hastings. They are apparently quite common among the Gypsy Vanners and other hairy breeds. So Stronger sporting an evil moustache would have been hilarious but also quite natural.
My friend has a theory that Vegapunk, Kuma, and BB might all be apart of the same special race, due to the multiple people theme surrounding all three characters. Kuma being the Seraphim, and the Pacifista, Vegapunk having the clonebot things, and BB being able to have multiple devil fruits, and Luffy and Zoro calling him a them pre timeskip
😂 Jinbe would one-shot them. Like Luffy would put his mean face on and get ready to fight then Jinbe would be like "Ok fight over" before Luffy even says "Gommu"
this chapter both confused and surprised me at the same time after realizing that the chapter cover story had an immediate effect on the ongoing story. feckin blew my mind, I can’t even remember the last time I was invested in the chapter cover stories lmao
I had this thought during a bout of restlessness: if Pudding is on the ship, that means more than likely Kuzan is around. It seems to be more than a matter of time before he freezes the ocean (and the heart pirates) eliminating the threat of the ocean. God I hope I'm wrong.
I’d say this is the most likely route Oda is heading as we can’t have BB fail to capture Law or at least get his hands on the poneglyphs this late in the story. I just hope that Law keeps his life at the end
it makes so much sense that kuma is a special race bc otherwise there wasn't that much of a reason for vegapunk to make all his pacifista from him. now it's consistent with the seraphim's existence (formed from a special race)
There was a conversation between BigMom and King that there is only 3 race’s that Big Mom crew doesnt have. 1st one is giants, 2nd one is lunarians and yet we still do not know what is the 3rd race that BM crew doesnt have, maybe its Kuma’s race, if thats a thing
Law having a "one shot" high mobility and high range fruit helps drastically against blackboard. Even with the gura gura he seems to be more a "grappler".
The reason Pyrobloin is brought up again is because 1 vegapunk is a scientist and this was one of the first scientific things we learned about the one piece world and sea prism stone 2 sea prism stone we will likely learn more about that this arc 3 vegapunk can make island clouds so bringing up Pyrobloin is relevant to the particular situation
"This is it. This is the one piece that we've been waiting from since the very beginning.. What we're seeing right now is the worst generation equivalent of the pre - pirate king days.....
I find it interesting that Luffy has been shortening his lifespan throughout the whole series and Bonny's devil fruit implies that he still makes it to 70.
@Rill Oda is trolling the audience here. He just using the bad timeline Luffy and using Bonney's powers as an excuse so he can draw it lol. It was the same thing with Law last chapter, he previously drew genderbent Law in a earlier sbs so used Doc Q as an excuse to draw it. The "good" ending timeline Luffy looks like Garp. Jinbe being a kid is also the same kid Jinbe he drew in an sbs. So yeah he's having fun throwing in multiversal level what ifs.
@@tilltheendoftime-adventure8441 Oda likes drawing weird stuff. Every arc he makes an excuse to do so. This stood out especially in wano with smile fruit users.
I like that feeling that sinking a ship is new in One Piece. Imagine if that was the idea from the beginning, then by the time Law's crew tried to sink BB's ship, we would be like, "oh how original 😒" Instead, we are like, "wow, how original!"
Hey Liam, have you ever thought about doing reddit videos? I have found a GrandLineReview subreddit, but I'm not sure if it's yours or fan made. Either way I think it would be a great way to make videos during the more dry seasons of content and it would be a great way to interact with your audience. Just food for thought, keep up the great videos! :)
I would not be surprised if Kuma and Blackbeard are the came race of people. He possibly has 3 people living in his body as well. That way, he could allow Vegapunk to experiment, but keep keep at least one separate and untouched.
I was expecting Law and his crew to be trounced by BB’s crew so them being able to last more than a couple seconds was a pleasant surprise. Law just couldn’t catch a break lmao
My guess for why Sicily was replaced was the same reason Rayleigh looked weird in the east blue arc, same with Macro and his emo phase. they simply didn’t expect him to be that important in the story.
I honestly believe that Conquer's Haki is a prerequisite to seriously contend with Shanks and well we know that Blackbeard not only survived that fight but was competitive against Shanks.
The fact that Vega punk was talking to dragon casually makes me hope vegapunk has some tech that scatters the denden mushi signal or something explaining how sabo wasn’t on lulucia cuz he’s working with the revolutionary army
I'm really interested as to why exactly kuzan is with blackbeard, considering he was the one "good guy" admiral (for lack of a better term) pre timeskip.
Law is proving he's worth his bounty this chapter, I do worry about how he's going to get out of this though. Perhaps we'll see Kidd make an appearance since they were both out looking for the same "man with a burn scar". Since they took down BM together I wouldn't be too surprised to see Kidd show up and provide some kind of support, or even make it a three way fight.
I'm willing to say that kaido is more likely to be dead than big mom. Big mom's ability can always make the magma into a homie and her fairly close ties to kaido during their rocks years may give her insight into things we the readers aren't aware of like what exactly kaido fears and use that to extract his soul to help herself. Also unlike kaido big mom has unfinished business plot wise.
Pyrobloin being mentioned again might have to do with devil fruits. Smiles used SAD wich was made of seawater and animal DNA. So maybe Pyrobloin is used in the original fruits, if it can increase the density of moisture maybe it can also increase the density of souls. Brook does look fluffy in soul form.
If Pudding is aboard Blackbeard's ship then we could assume that Akoiji is aboard too, meaning that all advantages for the Heart pirates will be gone as soon as he freezes the ocean with his big toe... in about 50 chapters.
I never thought Kuma was human but he’s such a mystery so I could only go off the bare minimum. But I love this confirmation. I’m hoping there’s a connection between Kuma and Kuzan simply off the fact they’re both from South Blue, have the same hair, and are two of my favorite characters. I loved seeing the Heart Pirates *finally* show their worth. Law is my favorite character and even I was doubting them 😅 Shachi might just have some sort of Fish-men training like Koala..
If Van Augur and Pudding are present then Kuzan might also be there Would he help defeat Law and his crew or does he help them escape OR did he just go to do some other secret stuff maybe some other mission
I feel Oda has a fetish of putting the manga on a break after he drops an information bomb on us. This happened when Lillith was intreduced and now the conversation with dragon
feel like law has a big advantage actually, that unless aokiji shows up he just needs to be close enough to the water and his crew can get him to safety with the submarine
I never doubted the Heart Pirates (especially since they have fought in the anime). They wouldn't have made it this far with just Law's power, but it is nice to see where they specialize. Also, where is Kuzan?
Its getting very predictable and boring actually. This has always been Oda's style. Showing BB getting kicked here and there, then suddenly he will get a massive buff out of nowhere. Calling it now, Law will lose and die. Then BB will steal his DF. Next week will finally show how BB steals a DF. Better be prepared. Law is going to die.
4:56 I don't know if you said that on purpose but that is a great contrast to Luffy, who with every move he makes manages to make a friend of a new faction
This last chapter had me thinking about Dragon. It seems most plausible that he is like Rocks son, and the reason Garp chased after Gol so hard, was because Garp's daughter became a pirate and joined his crew...
I thought for a long time that Blackbeard was born without not only Conqueror's Haki, but with no Haki at all, and he's trying to compensate the lack of it with DF that have similar consequences. If you think about it, he has never shown any trace of Conqueror's Haki nor Observation Haki because he suffered every single attack that everyone has thrown at him without dodging, and everytime he got badly hurt or wounded. So now he seems to have only "Armament Haki" with Yami Yami allowing to hit the real body of a DF user and nullifying his powers, and Gura Gura having the ability to damage enemies even from the inside with the vibrations, and maybe he's looking for other fruits with effects similar to Observation and Conqueror's Haki. But if you go back to chapter 1059 he stops a blow of that Mihawk-Pacifista-Seraphim with his arm, and the arm is black so probably coated with Armament Haki and so this fascinating theory falls apart :( But the lack of Conqueror's Haki might still be a thing, or even the fake "D." used to struck some kind of fear and respect in the other people
Blackbeard was the first person in the series to even mention the word haki. (And the first person in the series to use observation. Plus, like you said, he already used armament against the Seraphim.) And his vivre card from a while ago already confirmed he has armament and observation.
I think that the anti-gravity machine is not for going to the moon - but to spefically be used against Fujitaro... Earlier we saw gloves that can interact with light which were almost obviously made to fight against Kizaru - so mayber these anti-grav machine is meant to resist Fujitaro.
I saw a theory that Blackbeard and Kuma could be the same race, they both have similar skin color and hair and are two big belly fellas. Someone even said that maybe Kuzan was of the same race because skin color and hair.
I had two core concept extracted by this chapter and as Liam didn't pointed out, I will post them here: - The Atlas's Boot/Gloves to interact with Light and the Lightsabers together give to Rufy/Zoro/Sanji the ability to fight Kizaru regardless of overpowering his intangibility with haki (and therefore fighting also his own haki on top)... Maybe this could be exploited to put on interesting interactions with the Seraphim as they "borrowed" tech replicas of Kizaru's ability. - Vegapunk could be in contact with Dragon by the proxy of Kuma (the original one) in Dragon's custody. The last scene we had with Dragon was him interacting with Kuma and I could really see Vegapunk having some recording/reproducing device on Kuma itself. So maybe this conversation isn't a proof of a long lasting relationship but rather than the current status of Kuma and Vegapunk decided to exploit for his own end
You really need to add captions to your videos, I find myself watching your videos in public a lot. And I feel the stares of people around me whenever you mention marine seamen.
Now that Law pierced Teach with his K-Room, Law will probably now the secret to his body. Imagine Law surviving this fight and telling us what's really up with Teach's body.
Is it possible you could post your spoiler content after the chapter officially releases? I want to watch your stuff but hate spoilers. What can be done?
I like to pretend that stronger had a cliche yet iconic evil twirly moustache that villains could have and he just finished growing out but then it was immediately chopped off by Law’s attack. But man stronger can’t catch a break. First he has to carry Doc Q, then had BB on him in Pegasus form and now has been cut in half.
The fact that the cover story connected to the main story in the same chapter is insane to me I don’t think this was done before in One Piece history
Probably a sign that we really are getting close to end now.

I know that it was mentioned back on Dressrosa when Blackbeard was talking with Burgeses, and that the 5 elders mentioned it once, but I had to be reminded of these instances by someone else.
I hope Oda didn’t recycle the Ace vs Blackbeard fight scene because if the cliffhanger happens in the next chapter, it will cause quite a letdown!
yeah i’ll be fucking pissed if we don’t get to see it
If he offs Law on screen it would be seriously insulting to the character
The Heart Pirates are the definition of *Don’t judge a book by it’s Cover* !
I'm always happy getting to see more of Law in action. I just love watching him use his devil fruit powers.
Mom: Liam with a haircut isn’t real. It can’t hurt you

okay see there's another thing. she didn't specifically say that Kuma is the one who is "of a special race."
my interpretation was that she was saying vegapunk was a special race, with the implication that because he was a special race he had special permissions to kind of do whatever he wanted. maybe I just misunderstood though.
i loved this, and you're absolutely blowing my mind because you're right! if there is a connection between Vegapunk and Dragon then the scene of Dragon ordering the retrieved Kuma to share what he saw makes perfect sense.
I loved Liam’s joke about being 30 simping about comic book characters 😂
My friend has a theory that Vegapunk, Kuma, and BB might all be apart of the same special race, due to the multiple people theme surrounding all three characters. Kuma being the Seraphim, and the Pacifista, Vegapunk having the clonebot things, and BB being able to have multiple devil fruits, and Luffy and Zoro calling him a them pre timeskip
The more we learn about the Blackbeard pirates, the more I think Jinbe is actually going to wreck havoc on the Blackbeard pirates
@@exaltedcannoli3027 same. Like there are so many people who should have died but lived that if Law dies I'm gonna be pissed
So Sulong Bepo empowered by moon and ice (since he's a polar bear) is coming for a surprise save.
it makes so much sense that kuma is a special race bc otherwise there wasn't that much of a reason for vegapunk to make all his pacifista from him. now it's consistent with the seraphim's existence (formed from a special race)
Heart Pirates: See? We are not fodders.
(Meanwhile, Bepo: 😪😪😪.)
There was a conversation between BigMom and King that there is only 3 race’s that Big Mom crew doesnt have. 1st one is giants, 2nd one is lunarians and yet we still do not know what is the 3rd race that BM crew doesnt have, maybe its Kuma’s race, if thats a thing
once blackbeard uses his ability vortex things change very quickly to his benefits
It's crazy how bb is scaring for his life in one of the panels law underrated.
Law having a "one shot" high mobility and high range fruit helps drastically against blackboard. Even with the gura gura he seems to be more a "grappler".
I just hope Oda doesn't have Shiryu sneak up and 1 shot law with his clear clear 👀
@@tilltheendoftime-adventure8441 if only Luffy learned how to punch like Garp.
I literally had a dream, a completely detailed dream, about Luffy and Law taking down Blackbeard together, successfully. I swear to god
Awesome vid. I love the smart analysis and convo. All the little intelligent additions and comments. So great well done
I would not be surprised if Kuma and Blackbeard are the came race of people. He possibly has 3 people living in his body as well. That way, he could allow Vegapunk to experiment, but keep keep at least one separate and untouched.
What if kuma was saying he was a celestial dragon because he obeyed the marines?
I was expecting Law and his crew to be trounced by BB’s crew so them being able to last more than a couple seconds was a pleasant surprise. Law just couldn’t catch a break lmao
I knew the fight was never going to be easy for BB pirates, but this does seem like having all the elements of Vassals vs Kaido!!
As a One Piece dnd DM, sinking an enemies ship is a hugely underrated method for victory.
Law best waifu.
The Wood is Still there☠️
There is no competition
Zoro would like to know your location
But don't worry he will just get lost
@@itzadi446 wood? wood >:( to u mean pp?
@@twr9382 You're late
My guess for why Sicily was replaced was the same reason Rayleigh looked weird in the east blue arc, same with Macro and his emo phase. they simply didn’t expect him to be that important in the story.
I honestly believe that Conquer's Haki is a prerequisite to seriously contend with Shanks and well we know that Blackbeard not only survived that fight but was competitive against Shanks.
Blackbeard has been trolling for the entire story, he's always been op af.
Should be obvious by now.
Been saying this you dont scar a man like shanks without crazy haki
The fact that Vega punk was talking to dragon casually makes me hope vegapunk has some tech that scatters the denden mushi signal or something explaining how sabo wasn’t on lulucia cuz he’s working with the revolutionary army
I'm really interested as to why exactly kuzan is with blackbeard, considering he was the one "good guy" admiral (for lack of a better term) pre timeskip.
Probably a spy, given how doffy sniffs it
Thank you because nobody else seems to be questioning this at all and to me it would've made more sense to join the revolutionaries
@@supremeturtle1186 Maybe he's a spy
and why doesnt blackbeard take his fruit. it should be worth it... if they all jump on him there shouldnt be huge losses
The Hearts Pirates to The Blackbeard Pirates: Fu*k around and find out
Law is proving he's worth his bounty this chapter, I do worry about how he's going to get out of this though. Perhaps we'll see Kidd make an appearance since they were both out looking for the same "man with a burn scar". Since they took down BM together I wouldn't be too surprised to see Kidd show up and provide some kind of support, or even make it a three way fight.
It would be funny because it would imply Kid went on his chosen way just outta sight then suddenly said "f that I'm going after Law"
Thank you for putting the chapter Number 😊
I'm willing to say that kaido is more likely to be dead than big mom. Big mom's ability can always make the magma into a homie and her fairly close ties to kaido during their rocks years may give her insight into things we the readers aren't aware of like what exactly kaido fears and use that to extract his soul to help herself. Also unlike kaido big mom has unfinished business plot wise.
Ive been screaming this from the damn roofttop and finally someone else is saying it too. LAVA HOMIE CREW
also her fight was too short compared to kaido's
Ooh, that's an interesting idea. BG surviving with Kaido's lifespan
I think this mini arc is going to be mostly information then action
And you won't see me complaining about it 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
If Pudding is aboard Blackbeard's ship then we could assume that Akoiji is aboard too, meaning that all advantages for the Heart pirates will be gone as soon as he freezes the ocean with his big toe... in about 50 chapters.
Law is my favorite character and even I was doubting them 😅
Shachi might just have some sort of Fish-men training like Koala..
Congrats to Liam for being able to do entire chapter reviews without using any art owned by Jump. Kudus kid
This chapter blew my mind
I can see Sanji thinking Jinbei copied his outfit when the groups meet back up
If Van Augur and Pudding are present then Kuzan might also be there
Would he help defeat Law and his crew or does he help them escape OR did he just go to do some other secret stuff maybe some other mission
I feel Oda has a fetish of putting the manga on a break after he drops an information bomb on us. This happened when Lillith was intreduced and now the conversation with dragon
And he dropped the biggest bomb of all before the month long hiatus.
Yonko Buggy...
Actually the saber used by Bonney is more likely a reference to the Beam Saber from Gundam
feel like law has a big advantage actually, that unless aokiji shows up he just needs to be close enough to the water and his crew can get him to safety with the submarine
I never doubted the Heart Pirates (especially since they have fought in the anime). They wouldn't have made it this far with just Law's power, but it is nice to see where they specialize. Also, where is Kuzan?
I loved how Franky fully appreciated his pervert-/freakyness 😂
Law proves he is Yonkou level
Its getting very predictable and boring actually. This has always been Oda's style. Showing BB getting kicked here and there, then suddenly he will get a massive buff out of nowhere. Calling it now, Law will lose and die. Then BB will steal his DF. Next week will finally show how BB steals a DF. Better be prepared. Law is going to die.
Kuma has to be one of the mysterious races lost to time Big Mom was talking about.
The picture of Kaido at the very end of this video had me bursting out in laughter.
Dragon is from the east blue Goa kingdom dont know why yall Dragon is rocks son people skipped over that 😂😂😂
This chapter was fire, can t wait to see Sakazuki finally getting out of his desk and show his power
Sakazuki was.. never.. fighting WB 1 on 1
I like the end of the chapter reveal of one of the Daft Punk members being in the story, makes sense it would be with Dr. Vegapunk
Love the video and keep up the great work Liam
2:45 "R-Room" doesn't eliminate sound, "Silence" technique does. These are two different techniques.
But if you go back to chapter 1059 he stops a blow of that Mihawk-Pacifista-Seraphim with his arm, and the arm is black so probably coated with Armament Haki and so this fascinating theory falls apart :(
But the lack of Conqueror's Haki might still be a thing, or even the fake "D." used to struck some kind of fear and respect in the other people
Blackbeard was the first person in the series to even mention the word haki. (And the first person in the series to use observation. Plus, like you said, he already used armament against the Seraphim.)
And his vivre card from a while ago already confirmed he has armament and observation.
This is probably just me over thinking, but what if Vegapunk isn’t talking to Dragon, but is watching Kuma’s last conversation with Dragon? 🤔
I hope we don’t miss the opportunity to see zoro use a light saber. Could have gave him a whole Jedi style space outfit.
I had two core concept extracted by this chapter and as Liam didn't pointed out, I will post them here:
- The Atlas's Boot/Gloves to interact with Light and the Lightsabers together give to Rufy/Zoro/Sanji the ability to fight Kizaru regardless of overpowering his intangibility with haki (and therefore fighting also his own haki on top)...
I feel like law will have a new technique called E-Room "Isolation" which will lock up BB's darkness and quake. LOL
You really need to add captions to your videos, I find myself watching your videos in public a lot. And I feel the stares of people around me whenever you mention marine seamen.
I like your idea with dragon taking over kuma
I also think he could be giving dragon something like a SSD with Kuma's memory on it
Now that Law pierced Teach with his K-Room, Law will probably now the secret to his body.
First he has to carry Doc Q, then had BB on him in Pegasus form and now has been cut in half.
law should not have been able to fight blackbeard like that tbh, With that powerscaling gear 5th luffy should stroll up and one shot blackbeard.
