One of her greatest performances on a talent show called YOU ARE SUPPER is a song called RECHENKA. It is so different from anything else I have ever heard. She was 14 years old at the time. I discovered Diana just late last year, on a RUclips short that piqued my curiosity. It specifically highlighted the final belted section here. I was not prepared for just how much depth she has with her tone, which totally blew me away. In no time I was checking out as many vids and performances as I could find. And far as I know she is the first Dramatic Contralto I have ever heard. The general consensus is that simply no one else has a voice like she does.
I agree that professional opera singers have a particularly developed sense of harmony and know what a large symphony orchestra can produce. A while ago I joked that Diana had swallowed a synthesizer. In addition to the incomparable dramatic contralto with pronounced polyphony, which goes from unimaginable power to velvety softness, Diana already has a pure soprano, and with this arsenal, she works wonders! This song was my first experience of this vocal phenomenon. She completely blew me away and since has easily become my all time favorite vocalist and have been listening to her and following her since. I am a music lover, but I don’t have a technical understanding of it, beyond the basics. What I do know is that Diana’s performances have a deep, emotional effect on me. I was amazed by her voice the first time I heard it, and have become thoroughly addicted 😂 Knowing her life story, and the challenges she has had to overcome, makes her accomplishments even more astounding. Diana is my favorite artist. Thanks for reacting to her. She is able to captivate you and make feel however she intends. One of her greatest performances on a talent show called YOU ARE SUPPER is a song called RECHENKA. It is so different from anything else I have ever heard. She was 14 years old at the time. RECHENKA is an ancient Russian folk song. Amazing for someone so talented at such a young age. She also did a great job on WICKED GAME also.
I love Wicked Game, it's like an ancient forest spirit is pissed because she didn't want to fall in love but someone played nasty games with her heart; I rather enjoy the undercurrent of "HOW DARE YOU"

I discovered Diana just late last year, on a RUclips short that piqued my curiosity. It specifically highlighted the final belted section here. I was not prepared for just how much depth she has with her tone, which totally blew me away. In no time I was checking out as many vids and performances as I could find. And far as I know she is the first Dramatic Contralto I have ever heard. The general consensus is that simply no one else has a voice like she does.

I agree that professional opera singers have a particularly developed sense of harmony and know what a large symphony orchestra can produce. A while ago I joked that Diana had swallowed a synthesizer. In addition to the incomparable dramatic contralto with pronounced polyphony, which goes from unimaginable power to velvety softness, Diana already has a pure soprano, and with this arsenal, she works wonders! This song was my first experience of this vocal phenomenon. She completely blew me away and since has easily become my all time favorite vocalist and have been listening to her and following her since. Just an amazing and breathtaking and unique natural born artist, and that vocal instrament she possesses - there is nothing else like it.

На мой взгляд, из сотен просмотренных реакций на данную песню в исполнении Дианы, эта - самая лучшая! Очень профессионально и компетентно проведен анализ вокала Дианы. Причем автор сначала посмотрел полностью выступление артистки, а потом уже проанализировал поэтапно все стадии песни.
