Diana didn't cry for being able to do that. She's been singing in competitions since she was 6 years old, she's used to her own voice by now (she was 18 here). She was crying because the judges on that show are also other performers on that show, every one of them very well-known in Europe. The funny thing about Diana is that she also can reach and sustain high notes that are troublesome to hold for many Sopranos. In her recent duet with Brandon Stone "The day you..." she reached a high D6. With some more training she might even reach a G6 within the next two to three years. So with Diana you get a dramatic contralto and a dramatic Soprano in one person.

I have been a fan of Diana for five years and believe it or not it’s easier for her to sing the Contralto low notes…she’s worked really hard to maintain her divine high notes after puberty. Now, though her range has expanded and she recently, reached a D6 note 🎧🎶🥹. I’m always happy to see new people hear her Mesmerizing Sound. Absolutely getting the 'angry vengeful goddess' feeling you described, and I would very much like to see that movie! For want of a better description it gives Giant Ursula vibes, as in her low notes sound like the effect you'd put on a person's voice to show they've grown huge now. That and the (I think?) minor key make for a chilling combination in the best way.

Absolutely getting the 'angry vengeful goddess' feeling you described, and I would very much like to see that movie!
For want of a better description it gives Giant Ursula vibes, as in her low notes sound like the effect you'd put on a person's voice to show they've grown huge now. That and the (I think?) minor key make for a chilling combination in the best way.
I really really recommend checking out “Rechenka” next! And speaking of film soundtracks, visit her performance for “Dune.”
