Many thanks to Judith W for bringing you back with Dimash. I'm happy that you liked it. It's a bit risky to claim that this or that is a masterpiece. Some reactors who are not necessarily a fan of Dimash can appreciate some of his music, but not this song. I have heard from others that this song is too simple and too repeatative. So your reaction was a really pleasant surprise

I understand your reluctance to deal with the fanbase as yes there are definitely a very virulent few. However I'd also point out that tone often doesn't come across well in written communication and what may be just an explanation may come off as critical. Add to that the fact that many of Dimash's fans come from different countries and communicate very differently. Eastern European countries for example are quite open and blunt and I've noticed that reactors from western countries especially don't vibe with that at all. Maybe just block the ones that are obviously being rude? I don't always agree with everything you say but I truly appreciate that you enjoy Dimash's more low key songs which he's doing more of these days. Some people have even questioned whether he's losing his full abilities, after seeing his performance of Easy/Fire that's obviously not the case at, he's got nothing to prove to anyone and at this point in his career he doesn't need to do all the vocal acrobatics, he can do whatever music speaks to him and what he has fun with. I would love to see you do reactions to Angel Love and Grateful to Fate, two very recent songs that are more low key beautiful ballads.

I didn't hear anything about the brilliant artistic production and execution, not to mention the choreography. I appreciate that you are singer and that is where your focus is. However, one doesn't exist without the other and it would have been interesting for a singer to critique all the incredible drama and performances of the video as well. Especially, I mean, especially, when he came out of the shadows and also what she was reading in the car. You missed it all. Oh well, some of us can't have everything I guess. smh

I love Dimash and everything he does, but with no musical background, I didn’t know why. Watching reactions from people who know music helps me to understand why I love him and adds even more dimension to my appreciation for this genius. And even more than this, he is a good soul and this comes out in everything he shares with the world. I remember his saying once that he knows his music may not be appreciated by everyone, but he always remains true to himself. He inspires.

I always like to hear honest evaluations of Dimash's music by people like you who have a deeper understanding of singing than the "average Joe". I'm the sort of Dear who wants to know the truth about Dimash's singing skill. I know he's not perfect in everything he does and I know that I am perfectly free to love his music regardless of it's level of perfection. (And I do think, from what I've heard, that he lives up to most of the hype!😊)

Dimash spent a few months in Los Angeles last year, taking a deep dive into the American art forms of rock, r&b, gospel and the blues. He composed this song, along with Smoke and Fire. As an opera singer you should check out his recent duet with Placido Domingo (“Pearl Fishers” Duet). Also an absolutely fabulous operatic trio “Ti Amo Cosi “ with Dimash, Lara Fabian and A Garifulina, accompanied by Igor Krutoy on piano. Astounding!!

Hello, it is a very good song both musically and narratively. Everything is very careful and done with talent, artistically and technically.
