It’s been said many times, this is the best rendition of this beautiful hymn. This song has over 14 million views and was on Amazons best selling list. Thanks for your reaction to this one!
This was my introduction to Dan as well, and I was irrevocably hooked. Can't imagine hearing the song in any other version anymore. (Someone actually timed that last note once; if memory serves, it was around 20 seconds. Phenomenal, indeed! (And your enthusiasm and delight makes it even better!)
This song was my first introduction to Dan last year and I was immediately hooked. The best rendition of this song I've ever heard, and I'm 61 yrs old. Thanks for reacting.
We've all heard this song so many times, but Dan's version is like hearing it for the first time - absolutely brilliant! The reverence, the power are phenomenal. Best version ever! Thanks for the terrific reaction!
This was the first song I heard Dan sing! I wept! I was moved to ask my atheist son to listen as well. Tears filled his eyes and ran down his cheeks! I cried again and hugged him.
❤ Dan is the best. He knows exactly what to do, when nd how to do it to make a song Epic❤ Thank you so much for your beautiful reaction! Dan is very special in so many ways. So glad you enjoy him and his beautiful music as much as we do.
This hymn was my introduction to all that is Dan Vasc. His music arrangements are on point and never disappoint. Another stellar reaction from you, i love how you break the piece down into musical term (hope that makes sense!) Love from Down Under 💜🇦🇺
The best version of Amazing Grace I have ever heard in my 64 years on Earth. This is the way this should always be done. If you notice, Dan sang the last verse with his eyes closed. He meant every word. #VascNation 🎉
I'm 68 and Dan has so many great songs to enjoy. A recent one he dis with a female opera singer TIME TO SAY GOODBYE was good. Her voice was out of this world. Funnily enough I can do deep notes like a bass and high ones too but nowhere as good as her. There is another Brazilian singer Gabriel Henrique who does Whitney hoston and Mariah Carey songs because he can hit such high notes for a man. Gabriel does OH HOLY NIGHT. I'd start there. Tom Ball is another great singer who was on Britain's Got Talent and America's got Talent too. Last but not least please look at Dimash Kudaibergen. Check out SOS where he wears a red suit and STRANGER. He played to a sold out concert in a theatre in New York.
This song with Dan poped up on my phone 02am 1.1.24. I had never heard about Dan before, and I seldom listen to music. It was blizzard outside and it had fallen over one meter snow and I wasn’t very happy. But I pushed on play and I was taken away to heaven. I was sold. I think I played the song on repeat 20 times. Since that night I listen to Dan every day. I just love that boy. Hug to you from Norway❤
Why dfon'y you try a singer called GABRIEL HENRIQUE who is also Brazilian and does a great rendition of OH HOLY NIGHT. He can do some the highest notes I ever heard a man sing. I listen to Dan all the time too. Please check out TOM BALL too. He was on Britain's got Talent and America's got Talent. His first audition with Somon Cowell on the first contest was funny. The man was a teacher and Diabetic but now he is slimmer.
"Amazing Grace" was the first time many people, including me, got to know Dan. Since then, his music has captivated me and still captivates me. His music made me gain new experiences with other singers and their songs. Thank you for your further response to insightful analysis of this epic cover by Dan.
Dan redefined the essence of this song in a powerful way. When singing this in church, I hear Dan's voice and can't help but smile as I sing from my heart to praise God for His amazing grace. Thanks for your wonderful reaction Daniel.
Dan has quite a list of popular music to listen to on his channel even PHANTOM OF THE OPERA. There is another Brazilan singer Gabriel Henrique who can sing some the highest notes for a man, Check out his OH HOLY NIGHT and you will see what I mean. Gabriel does some Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston stuff too even a Michael Jackson one EARTH SONG. There is a English singer Tom Ball too I love who was on both Britains got Talent and America's got Talent. The last song on the first contest he killed a song by Tom Jones. He and Gabe have many others too.
As with so many others, this was my first exposure to Dan Vasc. I was blown away when I heard this and have listened to something by him every day since. I still excites me to watch others discover his work. I loved your reaction and comments.
Thank you for your reaction to this amazing rendition of this beautiful song by Dan! I discovered Dan through this song, I have followed him ever since, and enjoy his music every day! The passion he puts in his songs, is unmatched by anyone! Look forward to more!
There is another song by Dan (seldom played) called Loch Lomond. It is a Scottish folksong and also very beautiful. Thank you for an interesting reaction. 😊
Dan and Gabriel did a beautiful job together on Loch Lomond. I think it's a rare time that we hear Gabriel sing, too. I hope they do more Spyglass Inn acoustic songs sometime in the near future.
As you will notice, there's a whole bunch of us who came to hear of Dan through this hymn. I'll never hear it any other way, best rendition ever. Thankyou😃
Such a bravura performance, so beautifully and expressively sung. In the UK it’s usually the bagpipes that accompany this song, especially at funerals and other solemn occasions. Thanks! I really enjoyed your commentary on this one. ❤️🎶
The way a song of praise should be sung, loud and proud.. changed John Newton from a slave trade ship's captain to a minister in the Church, but 400 years ago it would not have been good form to shout from the rooftops that you had found Grace..so he wrote this instead.. We Brits are very glad that he did. Wonderful reaction thank you.
This is the piece that brought me to enjoy the talents of Mr Vasc. It has been such a great ride ever since. Thank you for this reaction!! Please continue with Dan!! 🎶💕
This was the song that first introduced me to Dan. I have loved his music ever since! Plus the fact that he is also a Christian which I was happy to find out. ❣ Thanks for your reaction!
For me, this is the best version of Amazing Grace 👏🏻. Dan put all his true feelings into every note🎶🎵!!! He knew how to perfectly balance between classical and metal. It was admirable the respect he had for this song ✨️👏🏻! He was brilliant, as always. Thank you Daniel, for the great, sincere and instructive analysis, I always enjoy listening to it ;)
67 year old Southern church lady here... I've sung all my life and have sung this song many, many times. And have heard it sung many more. This is by far the most powerful and moving version I've ever heard.
Dan's version of this timeless hymn was my introduction to him & this is still my favorite version of it. It gives me goosebumps every time I hear it. The 2nd song I heard by him was O Holy Night at Christmas time last yr. I was reeled in by Amazing Grace and completely hooked by O Holy Night. After that, I just did a binge on his channel for several wks. He is, without a doubt, my favorite independent male vocalist. Loved your reaction, Daniel. Thank you. 😊
Most people this is the song that introduced them to Dan, me included. It's what got me hooked!!!! You should check out his version of the National Anthem; & then the "apology" right after!!!!!
This amazing rendition of Amazing Grace is what originally sent me down the rabbit hole of Dan Vasc, and some of the things you mentioned in this reaction were the reasons why. :)
This was also my introduction to Dan , it popped up on my RUclips feed just when I needed it so much - have to hear it everyday- I consider this the anthem for my faith journey!😊
Please check out another Brazilian singer Gabriel Henrique singing OH HOLY NIGHT which happens to be my favorite carol. He sings some of the highest notes I have heard a man sing.
I think he will put out more stuff. He lost a bet, and so has to do a song called Man Buns Are Gay. He is then doing a Man O War album as a one million subscribers celebration. After that is done, he is contracted to work with some other people, but he said he has signed an NDA on that one. So I think we will see more Dan.
Someone asked Dan on a podcast a week or so ago if he has retired, and he said, "Basically, yes" except that he still owes his listeners The Manbun Song. This exact rendition made him wealthy. Where once he couldn't afford shoes, now he's rich (his words).
@Foxed50 He did say that it means he only has to work when he wants to, so I wouldn't give up hope yet. Dan also has been restructuring his whole business into companies for all of his income streams to reduce his tax liability. He has no incentive to work and earn when his new communist government has raised taxes so high.
@@Foxed50 Urgh, well that's better news for him at least. But I hope he continues to share his hard-earned talent with the rest of us. And I really want that Manowar tribute album!
I enjoy reactions much more when I can listen to the whole tune before you start talking. It's terrible to hear it all broken up ! Take a clue, your listener score isn't very high.

Thanks ❤🎉🎄🕯🌟😊
I love the way he emphasizes the meaning of the lyrics. And of course, his vocal tone is spot on for my listening pleasure.
It's like Dan becomes the song. Thanks for your always informative and entertaining reactions, Daniel.
When I hear the Harmonica in this song, I think bag pipes. Thanks for the reaction. 👍❤️🙂
