Would this work with connected to a usb-c dock with a mouse and keyboard connected to a power surge and to an Android phone? If yes I'll probably need no PC at all

If you use a dongle like for the iPad Pro to connect hdmi you should be able to run it

KLGadget TV, I see with use a MacBook, but how charge the MacBook if you use a unique usb-c in the monitor ?

No it doesn't work that way, the USB-C to HDMI cable doesn't come with power, you need a C-to-C that comes with both power and DisplayPort
Looks like its the best portable screen on the market, however iam still not convinced. Ive bought my Surface Pro 4 for 2,5x price than this but that alone is 5x more useful, with 400cd brightness (instead of ZenScreen's 220), with 2736x1824 resolution (instead of 1080p), kickstand (instead of a fkin pen), bigger battery, mini displayport, etc. Currently i'd rather buy an other SP4 and use that as a second screen... Cant believe theres no good portable monitors out there, and all of them are overpriced.
I recently saw a guy I was working with pull out his Surface Pro and this ZenScreen out of his bag and set it up in a few seconds and it was just brilliant. Yeah the external screen hasn't got the same quality as the Surface Pro screen, but seriously, 1080p at 15.6" size is way more than enough for almost any practical use, and for what he was working on (powerpoint slides, Word documents, etc.) the difference in display quality was really moot. It just didn't matter. I liked it so much I picked one up for use with the Razer Blade 15 gaming laptop, which has an absolutely phenomenal 15.6" display as well. Yeah, the external display isn't as good, but for my purposes it's amazingly awesome for something I can slip into my computer backpack right behind the laptop itself, not need any external power bricks or anything, and double my workspace. For $238 shipped this thing is a no brainer for me.

The ZenScreen matches up really well with the Razer Blade. It's not as bright, but it looks pretty good. I've got them both color calibrated using a Spyder 5 and the DisplayCal software, so the primary difference in appearance between them is that the Zenscreen just isn't as bright. It's amazingly cool for such a tiny thing that can be packed in with the Razer Blade in my computer pack.
I'd be okey with 1080p, my bigger concern is the price and brightness. When i sit out to my balcony and the sun is shineing, its even a bit hard to see the Surface Pro i dont think i could see anything from a screen that got half the brightness. For a lower price i'd say "okey, i only use portable screen inside". But it just dont worth it for me like how it is now. I wait and keep hopeing for a better alternative.

so i'm using a macbook pro, and the pen they provide with this montior is literally just a pen which can double as a kickstand... but it doesn't actually allow you to (with mac) us it to control the montior or as a touch ...is that right?
That's correct. The pen that comes with this thing is just a pen, and counts as a "life hack" sort of kluge for setting this thing up without bothering with a dedicated stand or folding up the sleeve it comes with to serve as a stand. This screen is not a touch screen.

Yep, that's after tax reduction in Taiwan, it officially retails at TWD8290 (RM1158), so on Gearbest, just consider that extra amount as shipping to here.

Where can we find such "adapters".
I imagine a Y-cable with USB-A plug for a usual 3.1-socket (for energy and data) and a dp plug for the video signal from my graphic card.
Combined to a USB-C with DP and "Alternative Mode". I think, it does not need active electronic, only a passive Y-cable.
What do we have to search for?

Route the DP cable out to the graphics card and insert the USB C end into the chassis wall. Tapping USB3.1 internally.
I have no idea on that though, for what I know it doesn’t work well with non type-c devices due to the lack of power, you may experience lags, less brightness and occasional restarts.

It won't work with iPhone because it uses DisplayPort, also Lightning isn't powerful enough to power the display

If you use a USB A to C cable, then yes you need to install drivers

I don’t think so, basically it requires power and display signal from USB-C, which I doubt the DEX station does that

Yes it will, but with slightly lower brightness due to lower power output.

no. it requires drivers.
This version of the screen (the USB-C/Thunderbolt version) doesn't seem to need any special drivers if connected to that Thunderbolt port. It acts like a normal Thunderbolt monitor.

Hmm, I don't have a USB-C to HDMI cable, but I've tried connecting directly with USB-C to USB-C, doesn't work.
