Good evening, I would like to ask for your help. At minute 3:03 you used an adapter, which adapter did you need to use on the PS4 to send power to the portable monitor?
I took the extra step to sign in and then sub because this is such a quality video. Keep up the quality and pump out the videos and your subs are gonna go up up up
Thank you. I don’t have the time to make as many videos as I would like to, but when I can, I really try and appreciate the positives when they come in. Glad you enjoyed, more stuff coming soon.
Thanks for the video. Looking to buy this thing, was pretty hard to find info on whether this thing work with the PS or not. Very helpful, great guide 👍
I filmed the footage ages ago but due to work commitments I never finished it and just assumed there was plenty of content out there already. I probably could still finish at some point.
@@nermaldigital Oooh I see... No problem, sorry for asking hehehe But I am really interest in buying an Ipad and a Macbook, so I could use the touch with them. Do you think that now with IpadOS that is possible? [:
No. No noticeable lag. Although I did find for darker more realistic games, the lower brightness on the Zenscreen wasn't ideal. But for more colourful games it's perfectly adequate
Hey! What power does that powerbank/external battery output? 15v and 2.6 A/39W is needed, as I read, so I am curious. Also your findings are relevant to the not touch version of this display, am I right?
Hi man, you are good with those devices and all the connections, how can I connect Asus Zenscreen MB16AC (with only one USB-C port, w/o battery) to the smartphone which does not support usb alt mode? (Google Pixel 5). Basically, I wanna split the power and signal and merge into one usb-c for the Zenscreen. Thanks!
@@christophenguyen5340 if I recall , it’s something to do with the Voltage for the switch , Nintendo can’t guarantee that other power supply’s will give the correct voltage the switch needs to run, the only reason I know this is I thought I’d lost mine , but thankfully I eventually found it in a box .
Great video! I had a question about using a Firestick on the device in order to use streaming services (Netflix, Prime, etc.) Would the Firestick be able to be connected to the micro HDMI connection?
excelent video! i tried the nintendo switch with 3rd party dock (i used my satechi, the same i use on my macbook) didnt work :( is there any configuration i must make? thanks a lot
Is the Satechi dock a HDMI adapter? I Know Satechi brand and most of their stuff is Thunderbolt which the Switch doesn't support. But if it's a standard USB-C to HDMI adapter then it will be the power input, so try it with the official Nintendo power adapter or a PD (Power Delivery) certified charger
Just missing there one big thing . Will be work on gaming pc ? I wanted buy this screen for Cold War and I want plug into rtx 3060 video port to that portable monitor.
Yeah, you will likely find that the USB output from your notebook will also be able to provide constant power all day. So just one plug socket for your notebook will provide power for both with HDMI set up.
Thanks and glad you enjoyed. No, the Switch Lite definitely has no video output capacity at all but people asked thinking that the USB C DisplayPort might be possible instead of HDMI , so why I included to show it doesn’t.
Hello I hope someone can help me. I have the previous version of the Asus zenscreen only one usb-C connection. I wanted to connect to my gaming pc.. is it possible?
Hey Tom. Great video, and your graphics are cool too. I invested in a 3rd party adapter for my switch and set up my Switch (without dock) exactually as you show, but I cant get it to work. Any suggestions as to what I'm doing wrong? Maybe a setting on the Switch or the Zen? Thanks for any help...
Thanks for the demonstration! Just a quick thought, would the touch screen work with the Nintendo switch plugged in? As the Switch also have a touch screen.... hmmm... by the way, thoroughly enjoyed this video, definitely my sort of interest!
Hi, did all exactly as you did on Nintendo Switch but it doesn’t work. Only with normal source (Power bank is not enough and won’t connect). Any ideas? Tks
Will the zen book run off a usb c plug (ie a usb-c one or an apple plug) that way all need to do is plug in a Hdmi to Micro hdmi ? Edit: just realised this isn’t the one that I was just about to buy in Argos tomorrow , 😐 they don’t have this model.
Yes! The only thing missing compared to the one I reviewed here is tough screen. But that isnt functional for games consoles, so the MB16AHP is perfect.
Like the PlayStation it will work via HDMI only. So just make sure you buy a version with HDMI. As there are some versions of the Zenscreen range that only have USBC DisplayPort.
Yeah. Via USB A it just works like a standard touch screen input device with Windows 10. But if you have a USBC 3.2 port on your machine, then it will do both video and touch via the single cable.
No In short. PS5 doesn’t do DP video output. There might be a converter somewhere for HDMI to DisplayPort but then there’s the power issue. It would probably be more expensive than just buying a HDMI upgrade.
I have the mb16ac the device don't have a hdmi in, just type c but if i buy HDMI to type c is it work with ps5? HDMI to ps5 type c in the screen.! Please help...
@@nermaldigital , thank you so much, I almost bought it, because I really need such a portable screen, which is mainly used on the switch, and my switch is the first generation, I don’t know which one can be applied to the old switch

This is exactly what I was looking for!

Hi, great video review.
Which usb-c to hdmi powered adapter did you use for the switch ? Can we find it on amazon ?
Hi Christophe, search on your local Amazon for "B078RZQJ8D" that's the HDMI adapter I used. Only use with the official Nintendo power supply though.
