Thanks for the help - great tip. I use two of these on my Dell XPS-13, and unfortunately it only has two USB-C ports, so to charge while driving two I needed a hub which forced me to run this off a USB type-A port. The funny thing is in the three page setup doc they include, after you pointed me DIRECTLY to this driver, I noticed is has a picture with the words "Driver" if you use type-A to type-C (but nothing more). Again, GREAT video - appreciate it!

For reference, it is the 21.02.2022 as I write this. I am using a Zenbook 14''. As per video, I can now use the USB port (with the provided USBC-USBA adapter) for video display. Which means a little Zenbook 14 can now have two monitors or even three (though I only advise two) and use the spare USBC port for charging as the screens drain the battery super fast.
Thank you so much! I have a 2016 macbook Pro and thought I was out of luck getting my asus monitor to work with a new docking station. This worked like a charm!

So when I go to install the driver it says it's already up to date. No idea how to uninstall what's already there. The monitor does not show up in Device Manager as far as I can tell, so I don't know how to delete the driver
To add - I had this issue with my MacBook. The display would work fine directly plugged in to the MBP withe the USB-C to USB-C cable. As soon as I added a docking station, the monitor would not work, showing a DP Alt Mode Error on the monitor. Installing the driver/software from the video fixed the problem and now works with the Docking Station. The steps - -Unplug the Zen Screen -Download the modal software from the Asus site -Install the driver/software -Plug the Zen Screen into the Docking Station (This will trigger a security popup) -Unlock the security in preferences -Allow the Asus Display Link software - Zen Screen works!

I have only ever tried on a laptop. Look and see if your USB debug is on. If not, try turning it on.
Hi, it worked, unfortunately just for a couple of days. When I tried to do it again I get the message: DisplayLink Graphic is up to date. Can you give me some advise?
No, I'm sorry, I wish I could help. Getting the drivers loaded is about all I did with the monitor.
Thank you! Problem solved :-)
Nice!! Glad this worked for you.
It works! Thanks
I was already on the verge of buying way too expensive cables to connect my Zenscreen with my non-displayport laptop. I am so glad I saw this video, thank you sir 🙂
