    You could make a career out this. I liked the fit of the interior in my '08 FX4 better than my '14 Raptor and have thought of buying another '07-'08 F-150 for converting. Clamshell front end might be easier.

    Awesome man, I bet if it was black it would hide a lot of the gaps in the panels a lot better. Thinking about doing this to my 07... seems like a fun project and the results look amazing! Good job

      Thanks man! Ya I agree. Those fiberglass panels don't fit perfectly. It was a pain to get it all to fit. Good luck on your truck!

    Is this the kit with the 4.5" buldge or the 7" buldge? I was looking on their website and it doesn't look like the 7" buldge is available to the 6.5 beds on the supercab.

    Does anyone know if you could put on a newer tailgate? For example would a 2017 tailgate fit on an 07 truck with this kit?

    The hardest, most important part of the video (HEADLIGHTS)... Skips right over to, "I'm done"... LOL Must have been that bad. "I will never share the struggle and allow everyone who does buy this kit endure the same fate I had"
    Is this just a daytime running truck? lol No light display? on off blinkers etc?

      It really was that bad. You know it’s bad when you put the camera down and it takes multiple days trying to figure the wiring out.

    I'm converting my Gen1 Raptor to a Gen2 Raptor front clip from McNeil -- Do you have any advice / walk-throughts on wiring 2015-2017 led headlights + tailights? Or just any direction at all? Any help would be appreciated!

      All I did was get a voltage tester to wire to the new wiring sockets. I think that was the part that took the longest.

    Will the 15+ tailgate fit on an 08 box? Really want to do this just want to make sure it works but cant find any info out there.

      I am not sure about that. I would contact the manufacturer of the kit you are using. I used the tell gate that came with my truck, which is a 2008.

      I used a matte black paint. I’m not sure which brand since it’s been so long.

      I had to slice the new plugs into the old wires. I just took a voltage tester to figure out which wire was which and spliced them to the corresponding wire.

    What was your technique for lining up the headlights when you mounted them? I’m converting a 2014 to gen 2 and trying to decide the best way to mount the headlights and have it all line up

      I first lined up the hood and the grill. Without those two lined up it’s impossible to line up the headlights. Then I started the headlights. It was probably the most difficult part of the whole installation.

    I know you probably won’t answer to this but I have a 04 F-150 that I wanted to convert the same as yours but I don’t know what products to get off the fiberwerx website I would really appreciate it if you could let me know what products you purchased to do this. Truck looks amazing btw!

      They have their products separated by what year your F-150 is. They call it “2004-2014 FORD F-150 TO GEN 2 RAPTOR CONVERSION KIT” for the front end and “2004-2014 FORD F-150 TO 17+ RAPTOR OEM STYLE CONVERSION BEDSIDES” for the bedsides.

    I’m about to start this same conversion on my 2010. I was really hoping you had the video of the headlights. What did you cut and how did you secure the grill, headlights, and headlight extensions?

      Unfortunately I don’t have any video of that part. I just slowly cut away metal until it fit. The grille and headlight parts need custom mounts.

      I did it myself so the only cost I had was materials (about $3000). It would cost a lot more if you higher someone to do i for you.

      The headlights. They are difficult to line up and to wire, but it’s definitely doable. I wish I had video of that part to help everyone out.

      @@Ben.Builds. o I thought you did a part 2 with headlights. I haven't got a chance to watch yet. I also bought a conversion from fiberwerx years ago. But I'm about to buy the raptor kit. Is the deberti kit? Looks wider then regular raptor.

    How did you put the raptor bumper??

      The bumper is actually a raptor style bumper made for the 2004-2008 F-150. It was easy to install. If I remember right, only two bolts.

    Hey Ben! I know that you said on here that you lost the headlight install video, but do you know if you had to use an aftermarket harness to wire the headlights? I finally got my fiberwerx order so I'm installing soon

      Yes you will need to do that for most of the headlight to function. I never got the high beams to work.

      I did the front first and it looked a little weird. If you only did the front I would find a different kit that wasn’t so wide. Or maybe it would look okay with some rear fender flares.

    Thanks for the video! I am going to do the same for 2010 f150 , but question what did you do for the front and back wheelwells? and any links to the parts?

      The front wheel wells just had the liner and it screwed right on to the new fender. However the back wheel wells were a bigger pain. You could do it a few different ways... you could create a new wheel well and cut the old one off. Or bend the old wheel well up so you can bolt it to the new fender. Might be a good idea to get some liners for the rear wheel wells after install. I haven’t done that yet.

      I don’t have that part recorded, however it was pretty simple, just two bolts secured to the frame of the truck. You will see where the previous bumper was attached.

      The front end I purchased is the 2004-2014 Ford F-150 To Gen 2 Raptor Conversion Kit. The bedsides were 2004-2014 Ford F-150 To 17+ Raptor OEM Style Conversion Bedsides.

It looks very similar to the Rubicon bumpers on the Jeep Wrangler. As always, your help is greatly appreciated!

      @@cmyrick6776 I used square steel tubing to create a frame for the grill and headlights to mount onto. The headlights were the biggest headache. You will have to fiddle with the adjustments on the headlights to get them to point at the correct height.
