What was your technique for lining up the headlights when you mounted them? I’m converting a 2014 to gen 2 and trying to decide the best way to mount the headlights and have it all line up
I first lined up the hood and the grill. Without those two lined up it’s impossible to line up the headlights. Then I started the headlights. It was probably the most difficult part of the whole installation.
Do you remember the conversation kit you used on this build, i looked at the website and didn't find exactly which one you used. Id love to do this on my 06 f150

Hey Ben! I know that you said on here that you lost the headlight install video, but do you know if you had to use an aftermarket harness to wire the headlights? I finally got my fiberwerx order so I'm installing soon
Thanks for the video! I am going to do the same for 2010 f150 , but question what did you do for the front and back wheelwells? and any links to the parts?
The front wheel wells just had the liner and it screwed right on to the new fender. However the back wheel wells were a bigger pain. You could do it a few different ways... you could create a new wheel well and cut the old one off. Or bend the old wheel well up so you can bolt it to the new fender. Might be a good idea to get some liners for the rear wheel wells after install. I haven’t done that yet.
I have one question. Is the fenders and hood and anything else replaced in this conversion aluminum. I would like to know in case I do this. I don’t want aluminum
I don’t have that part recorded, however it was pretty simple, just two bolts secured to the frame of the truck. You will see where the previous bumper was attached.
I bought my kit from Fiberwerx, and all the other parts are listed in the description of this video. There are other fiberglass kits on the market too.
I did the front first and it looked a little weird. If you only did the front I would find a different kit that wasn’t so wide. Or maybe it would look okay with some rear fender flares.
The front end I purchased is the 2004-2014 Ford F-150 To Gen 2 Raptor Conversion Kit. The bedsides were 2004-2014 Ford F-150 To 17+ Raptor OEM Style Conversion Bedsides.
