  • We've been teasing the new shocks and shoes we're rocking on the 2021 F-150 for a little while now... The guys at Ace Performance in Ridgefield, CT were a huge help when we proposed this idea a little while ago. They specialize in wheels, tires, anything speed-related - and truly went above and beyond getting our F-150 outfitted. If you're local and need work done, come see the guys at Ace, Tom and his team will take care of you like family.
    Our new setup consists of Falken Wildpeak AT3 35" tires, Method Race Wheels' 316 Standards, and Fox's Roush 2.0 shocks. We'll keep you guys updated on how we like the setup and if we make any further changes. But for now, we're absolutely loving the 'raw truckness' and rugged capability that comes from installing this beefier setup. Is there still a little rubbing? Yep. Is it going to be an issue? Not for us!
    Thanks again for tuning in, please subscribe to the channel and check back for part 4 of the build!

    Nice tire and wheel combination!! I'm looking into getting this combo as well. Just saving up. Where you able to reuse the stock lug nuts? Or did you have to use some aftermarket?

      @@BuiltRightIndMatt, I like the poke on your new set up. I get the 0 offset to achieve the poke but how do you decide which backspacing to get? Thanks.

    • @BuiltRightInd
      @BuiltRightInd  6 месяцев назад

      @@amateurbiggamehunter7691 Offset an backspacing are kind of the same spec on a set of wheels. So these are a 17x8.5 wheel with a 0 offset. That's all you need to know to achieve the same fit. These tires are pretty beefy, which adds to that look. A slightly narrower tire and there wouldn't appear to be any 'poke'.

    Looking at levelling/lifting my '22 XLT, just curious if you have had any issues with the lane keep/pre collision sensors? If not, maybe I'll be looking into this setup as there have been some issues with just front spacers. Thanks.

      We haven't had any issues with those sensors at all! Just a bit of rubbing under full lock, but that's it. We love the setup

    • @BuiltRightInd
      @BuiltRightInd  Год назад

      Little bit of rubbing at lock in reverse. We would need to do some additional trimming of the bumper to resolve it but it’s not a problem, so we just deal with it. 👍

    What is the after measurement ground to fender?

    • @BuiltRightInd
      @BuiltRightInd  Год назад +1

      We'll take some fresh measurements today. We actually ended up going back recently and re-adjusting the front coilovers back to the original location to further level the truck and gain tire clearance. We haven't noticed any adverse effects but will keep you updated. We'll cover this in a future video but that's the update for now.

    • @BuiltRightInd

      Sorry for the late response here - we've been hauling loaded pallets and more with the F-150, so we're exercising the suspension and things have definitely settled out by now. We're sitting at 40 3/4" in the front and 41 5/8" in the rear (measuring from the asphalt to the top of the wheel wells). Please let us know if you have any more questions!
