Love the look of the truck. Now that the final mod is done, the countdown begins for Mike to get the Raptor R when it finally comes out.
Shifting from 4H to 2WD under full load won't do anything since it will shift once the vacuum pressure release after you let off. It won't just shift while your flooring it.
One of the best looking truck builds for the F-150 I've seen. The wheels really complete the look!

The 18’s do look better than the 17’s. This look, as well as this truck as a whole, by far is the best looking truck you’ve had on this channel to date. Very nice! 👍

Love the new setup. When I bought my ‘19 F150, the dealer swapped out the original wheels for 20x9 Fuel Mavericks with a 33” Toyo and a 2” leveling kit. No rubbing issues, but it’s so close when I turn, that I can’t run my front no drill mud flaps. And it also rides a little rough in my opinion. Wish they had gone with an 18x9 wheel instead to give a little more sidewall on the tire for a softer ride.
Looks nice ! Im waiting on morimoto or anzo to release tail lights for the 21-22 model .. I feel like my truck is missing better looking tail lights

I got Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T and the ride and grip is absolutely amazing compared to my past Nito Grapplers I had on mine previously...I was actually going to go back to my Nittos but couldnt find the size i needed so i was actually in luck otherwise i wouldnt of known how awesome the MT tires would be!.... I have the excat amount of tire showing as you and I'm very pleased with mine all the way around.....I'm not a fan of tires overly sticking out as it's just not beneficial nor imo does it look good..Love the Channel so keep it up!

If your that worried about the weight and speed lower it and throw some low profiles on it. When you get mud tires you can't really be worried about the weight and how much it will slow the truck down.

I run 18X9's with toyo AT3 33's with my eibach level lift on my 2021 powerboost.
I have the same wheels and tires. Been running them for a few years now. You'll love them! But hate cleaning them....
Looks way better in my opinion. I took "DONE With My F150" as done with it and getting rid of it as opposed to done with the mods............ Very glad you are not DONE with it!!
I’m sure u know the ridge grapplers have 2 diff sidewalls to choose from, and most pick the “pointer” sidewalls, cause they seem more aggressive looking. However the “squared” looking sidewalk actually looks more aggressive installed. Looks more like a mud tire sidewall. Try it out.

Mike, have you tried using the published weights of the wheels themselves and the tires to find what the combined weight "should" be?
I see guys switching to 2wd during a pull. I've been told that this can wear your front wheel bearing teeth excessively. Love the new setup!

You can ask Boosted F150 he can tell you all about transmission and transfer cases blowing up he knows what one can expect and how far one can take a stock transmission and transfer case he doing well now from what I see. I Wish no harm for anyone only the best.

Go with Steelies to lighten your rotational mass Mike.
The scale is reading differently because the rubber mat is absorbing some of the weight causing the scale to show a lower weight.
Go by the weight on concrete.

Love it but I'd have went for the red highlighted center caps to match the red Ford emblem. Glad you went with 18 x 9s. Your gas mileage might increase a little with less tire width but not much if it does. Wish I'd went with 18 x 9s on my Chevy instead of the 17 x 9s and went with the Ridge Grapplers instead of the Terra Grapplers. Love that tire pattern. Next time maybe.
The new wheel looks more solid than the 20s which would mean more material and weight.

Have you ever got dinged for modified exhaust yet? Because I live in Ontario Canada, and they are the worst for that. A buddy of mine put just a basic Magnaflow muffler on his '09 F-150 and just to be extra sure the cops wouldn't bother him, he even kept the stock side exit tailpipe and he got clicked. Cop told him that he heard it rumbling at the red light, which I think is bs because even stock exhaust rumble a little bit. Thankfully the charge was dropped in court because they didn't have any evidence of the charge, and the judge was very friendly and understood where my buddy was coming from.
I'd have to get a set of Bushwacker pocket flares.
They also have Extend-a-fender flares that could be sprayed body color.

Your scale isn’t going to be accurate unless it’s on a solid ground like concrete or tile, try it at home, put your scale on carpet and weigh yourself, it’ll say you weigh significantly less

Nittos are heavy AF. I’ve got beadlocks and trail grapps on my JL and they come in at 126 a piece 😅.
Scale is suppose to be on completely flat surface. If even a corner is not touching the ground, it will read incorrectly.
Look into some Carbon Fiber wheels. Would prob save you 30lbs per wheel, so you're talking some serious weight savings. The only caveat is the price, I'm sure they would come at a premium unless you did some sort of promotion...Just a thought.

When you weigh it with the bottom on the scale it’s heavier with the top it will be lighter. So you have to weigh them on the right side only.

Those wheels look much better. Give the truck a slicker look to me. For the weight I think the tire is heavier then the wheel.
