So I'm actually a cook at Lombards and you have said most of the issues we parrot to our managers to fix since we get around 20 something reservations total every day. Thank you for mentioning us and just know we have some new dishes cooking up to hopefully change up that menu.
What secret do you use to cook bacon? Every other restaurant that tries tends to produce it tough, leathery, or chewey. But not Lombards. You guys do it right, and I wanna know how.
Lombard's has always been our favorite eatery in Orlando. Favorite menu items have come and gone, but I prefer to be forced out of my ruts and to try new things. It is always a fine dining experience in shorts and a t-shirt. The best kind.
It's not in the parks themselves, but Bread Box is a great value option in CityWalk. If you don't mind walking, it's an awesome spot to stop for lunch.
I’ll add this, there have been days where we ran out of burgers because too many people ordered them or the attendance wasn’t projected as being high so not enough patties were sent to us from the warehouse.
My absolute favorite at the parks is actually from Volcano Bay. The Coconut Chicken Curry from the Kohola Reef Restaurant is a must have every time I go, it's so good.
Tip for How the Grinch Stole Christmas fans like me. Once I seen they had Who Hash cans, I had to have one. You can order Who Hash and ask for it on a plate and get a clean can for a souvenir. Bonus: They put more food on a plate than what can fit in a can.
Green eggs and ham may have short lines but the food takes FOREVER to come out no matter how slow they are, every single time. ... Which is weird, keep the tots ready to go! Also, I've never been to Fire Eaters and not stood in a significant line, people love that little gem!
When my family first went to USF we had lunch at Lombards, i distinctly remember the butter with the Universal logo pressed in. The food was extremely forgettable and yet it still rang up to like $150 which was wiiiild cause I dont even think we got anything particularly fancy. I honestly dont even remember what i ate.
7:15 my biggest complaint about mythos was in their building design they didnt take audio echoes in the dining area into consideration. It literally felt like a LOUD cave. Lombards was a much nicer feel and vibe if i want a sit down meal at a them park.
Gotta commend you on finding unique and useful content for your videos. Confiscos definitely deserves more love. They often will have the passholder exclusives as well.
My husband and I spent a year trying every spinach and artichoke dip on Universal property and Confisco has the best one. Get it with bread instead of chips 👍🏼
On my family's only trip to IoA we also ate at Confisco's. Food was decent, i just remember it being pretty hot inside and for some reason my mom and the waiter got into a bit of an argument about something...
You do know you can get poweraid, lemonade, punch, and tea from the Coke Freestyle machines right? My favorite poweraid (zero sugar) combo is 7/8 lime, 1/8 cherry. The one inside the Marvel cafe is usually very balanced too.
last year we did ioa in the morning before heading to universal for hhn, and we stopped at confisco’s for lunch, we’ve had passes for 6 years and had never been lol and we were SHOCKED at how good it was. definitely returning
I didn't think the Harry Potter restaurants had particularly good food, but most of the stuff in the Jurassic Park area is worth getting. As for CityWalk, most are just okay, but I think Fire stands out the most as far as food quality. Mythos is a must-go, but everyone will tell you that.
In the New York area of universal Orlando, there’s a pizza shop that also sells the best garlic knots I’ve ever had in my life. Like incredible tasting, and dare I say very affordable. And yet every time I’ve gone to the park since the first time I tried them it’s been during holidays or off season so the menu has been altered. I have only eaten them once but I dream of them every day. One day I shall return and seek my garlic knots…
Universal's crepes are some of the best things I've ever eaten in a theme park. I tried the crepes they serve at Epcot near Remy's Ratatouille Adventure and they were some of the worst things I've ever put in my mouth.
Confiscos is far and away my favorite restaurant. Unlike Mythos I’ve never had a bad meal at Confiscos and I really enjoy the theming in Confiscos. The theming at mythos is better but honestly it’s not better enough in my opinion to put it higher in the ranking in my opinion. Also just to add Finnegans is cool but the food I had wasn’t anything special. I haven’t been to Lombards so can’t speak for that.
Question. I remember going to The Lost Continent and had kebabs/skewers. Since you mentioned Fire Eaters Grill, did they ever serve kebabs? Or am I thinking of another restaurant?
Universal food is just disgusting and wayyyyy overpriced. If you can find "average" food there, you've won. One of the biggest things that separates UO from Disney is food quality. Frankly, it might be the one thing that Disney one million percent beat UO at at this point.
I disagree, the only recent things I’ve found to be good from Disney are some of the hotel sit downs and the Epcot booths for festivals. I have been super disappointed lately but universal has been upping their offerings. I hope you have a better experience at your next visit because I’ve had great experiences at universal lately
I’m still devastated about the Brisket crepe. I went to Universal specifically for that crepe once, only to find out they replaced it. Tears were shed that day. 🥲

Very fishy
Yummy

@Thoralmir We cook it in the morning in the oven, let it cool and then reheat it on the grill before serving

Honestly only tried Wimpy’s because of the video you made 3 years ago. You weren’t exaggerating either. Definitely the best burger in the park.
It’s my husband’s go to when we visit! The fries and dole whip are also a plus!
imagine how good that tripleta crepe was and multiply that by 10 and you'll almost get to how good their brisket crepe was 😭😭
Dude! I went two days ago and she said it was gone and a real tear came down my face!
Now imagine if you would have had the best crepe they had to offer prior to being discontinued (brisket). Broke my heart. Praying for its return
Jurassic Park Terrace is punching air rn 😂
I like Thunder Falls a lot, but I think it's pretty popular and fairly rated so didn't feel the need to mention it here.
Wimpy's is still amazing! An absolute gem!
And no one else uses Beef Wellington burgers like Wimpy’s baby! Let’s Go!
I love the Chief Wiggum pronunciation of “Gyro” 😂
For reference if anybody is wondering:

Love that place
Their vegan sandwich has no right being as good as it is.
Bread box is amazing
Really is it good cause $11 sandwhiches?
People probably say this a lot but this video was perfectly timed. Heading to universal for the first time myself next week!
ENJOY !!!
Wimpys is hands down the best burger in universal, I hope it stays hidden so the lines don’t get too long
I’ll add this, there have been days where we ran out of burgers because too many people ordered them or the attendance wasn’t projected as being high so not enough patties were sent to us from the warehouse.
Confiscos is my favorite sit down restaurant at the parks. It is really good with a big menu and pretty affordable
The loaded potatoes at the taxi cab stand just outside of diagonal alley are great! Had one every day of my trip
Eating a filet mignon and then going on a roller coaster just doesn’t sound like a good idea to me.
My absolute favorite at the parks is actually from Volcano Bay. The Coconut Chicken Curry from the Kohola Reef Restaurant is a must have every time I go, it's so good.
I ate at the crepe place on my last visit and literally fell in love. Best theme park food I’d ever had (excluding chick fil a)

“Three years”😭 man it can’t be that longgg already
Green eggs and ham may have short lines but the food takes FOREVER to come out no matter how slow they are, every single time. ... Which is weird, keep the tots ready to go!
Also, I've never been to Fire Eaters and not stood in a significant line, people love that little gem!
Maybe the tots are made to order? Either way pretty yummy.
@@durpnick yes I'm willing to wait because I love them 🤤
I love all these restaurants.
I had no idea Wimpy’s existed and I have been to IoA 6 times
I go to universal fairly regularly. I’ve always walked right past Central Park crepes. How foolish of me!? That looks amazing!
Confisco has a damn fine OST, ngl.
“Freshly brewed lemonade” 😂

lol, tell your family/friends to not pick off the tasty toppings while you are filming the dishes. It distracts from the presentation of the items!
My favorite theme park channel right behind ElToroRyan, fr
I think Universal has the best food all around when compared to any theme park.
7:15 my biggest complaint about mythos was in their building design they didnt take audio echoes in the dining area into consideration. It literally felt like a LOUD cave. Lombards was a much nicer feel and vibe if i want a sit down meal at a them park.
15:45 asks for a wimpys burger, brags about how good it is, and then proceeds to destroy the burger
Gotta commend you on finding unique and useful content for your videos. Confiscos definitely deserves more love. They often will have the passholder exclusives as well.
Hammer sea world with their crazy food prices
They are insane, man. They've driven me away from the park, and I have free admission there lol
Yes! Seaworld/Busch food is insane. Prices are ridiculous, and quality is generally poor.
Six flags as well
So expensive and such trash compared to both Universal and Disney
I had a Gyro at Knoebels.
It was good, and right next to the creek.
Letss gooo new video 🎉
Minions Cafe is so good!
Confisco Is my favorite. Everything is so good
My husband and I spent a year trying every spinach and artichoke dip on Universal property and Confisco has the best one. Get it with bread instead of chips 👍🏼
I miss the food Chez Alcatraz had pre-pandemic. The Red & Blue chips, the toasted Wharf sandwich, all were good.
On my family's only trip to IoA we also ate at Confisco's. Food was decent, i just remember it being pretty hot inside and for some reason my mom and the waiter got into a bit of an argument about something...
Thanks! Making my list of places to eat when I come in September.
"I would gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today!"
LOL I love Cheesecake Factory too! One of my most faves when we visit the US :)
You do know you can get poweraid, lemonade, punch, and tea from the Coke Freestyle machines right?
My favorite poweraid (zero sugar) combo is 7/8 lime, 1/8 cherry.
The one inside the Marvel cafe is usually very balanced too.
Yeah Powerade is easily runner up for the most refreshing drink at Universal. But man, that lemonade... Life changing stuff.
Im going to Universal next month.. Wimpy's was on my list of possible restaurants, now it might be on my must do list!
It is definitely a must especially for the price! My husband loves their burger and I always snack on their fries and dole whip!
last year we did ioa in the morning before heading to universal for hhn, and we stopped at confisco’s for lunch, we’ve had passes for 6 years and had never been lol and we were SHOCKED at how good it was. definitely returning
What a great, enthusiastic, energetic narration style. Bravo sir!
Good info, thanks dude.
Nice video
how are u gonna tell us about that chopped tripleta just to tell us it’s GONE 😭😭😭
I'm devastated man. I think it got taken off the menu only like two weeks ago :(
@@AttractionIdeasi’m hitting this spot next trip for sureee
Burger dogs is great too!!!
I didn't think the Harry Potter restaurants had particularly good food, but most of the stuff in the Jurassic Park area is worth getting.

Mythos is a must-go, but everyone will tell you that.
This vid was great! Imma go to one these instead the usual one I go which is Krusty
I am yet to try the food but just from the looks of the restaurant i get why people like mythos it's really unique looking
I always use auntie Anne’s for a snack when we’re there, just as a wee walkable. People don’t even see it in UO, at least at IOA you can see it
i have always been a central park crepes believer!!!
I love the Krostyburguer

i want that pad thaiii omg
Fun Spot Orlando's Auntie Annes has flavored lemonades and i get them every time for that same reason, but it's also blue raspberry
Great video! Although, I'd argue that Toothsome's menu is Universal's version of Cheesecake Factory, not Confisco's.
Can you do a video on mythos!!
Watching this before my next trip.
Also Whimpys was closed the last two times I went 😢
Ya Um going to try Wimpys when I go to universal in my next trip in 10 days thank you for the video
The tropical chicken salad at Volcano Bay is the best food at Universal.
I was not expecting you to make a video related to food from Universal Orlando resort.
Universal's crepes are some of the best things I've ever eaten in a theme park. I tried the crepes they serve at Epcot near Remy's Ratatouille Adventure and they were some of the worst things I've ever put in my mouth.
been going to Universal every year for close to 20 years and have somehow never even noticed Confisco
The Vegan Berry crepe was the best because it wasn't extremely sweet. It was fairly light and refreshing. Sadly they removed it from the menu.
Super underrated restaurant is mama Dellas at portafino
Babe wake up, new attraction ideas theme park commentary
W Comment
Which food places do you recommend at volcano Bay?
is doesnt matter ,the chicken tenders and burgers are all the same stuff across universal property
Cheesecake Factory is already a meme of City Nerd’s, don’t try to steal it
Lombard's Landing is the only place I've found that knows how to cook bacon correctly.
Hey, could you make a video about the new Dreamworks Land? Im curious about it.
Anyone know what the new crepe options are??
They added a blueberry/lemon one and a croque messur, which is like ham and cheese.
It changes quite regularly. By the time you search for and find a menu, it may change by the time you get to the park.
What are you talking about? The Crepe stand is an hour long every time we are there!!
Is the crepe place open during Halloween horror nights?
I’ve gone a bunch and it’s always been open when I have been there!
Yes
Question. I remember going to The Lost Continent and had kebabs/skewers.
Since you mentioned Fire Eaters Grill, did they ever serve kebabs? Or am I thinking of another restaurant?
That would be Doc Sugrue's. It's pretty much right across from Fire Eater's. It's only open seasonally though so it's not open very often.
@@AttractionIdeas Ok. Thank you for the clarification!

New here, good information...but to much pad time. This video has to much bloat and wordy. Could prob cut 6 or more minutes from video(s).
Do a 50k face reveal

Of course the Disney shill has trouble with words. 😂
