We tried the Lard Lad donut ... Looks fun, but it's a below average, stale donut. I'm surprised it keeps getting recommended. The Apple pie dessert at The Three Broomsticks and the Key Lime chesecake at Thunder Falls weren't mentioned but are two of our favorites.
If you like Dole Whip, check out the ice cream stall at Marvel Superhero Island, they got three different dole whip sundaes! I'm surprised it wasn't mentioned on this list, those sundaes are gee oh oh dee.
I'll be visiting Universal for the day on my next Disney trip. I probably won't have time to try a lot of snacks, but the ones I'm definitely going to try will be butterbeer, doughnut from Lard Lad, ice cream from Florean's, and maybe green eggs and ham from Dr. Seuss Land
Many of these snacks (Voodoo Doughnuts, Lard Lad giant donuts, Bumblee Man's tacos, Butterbeer, Toothsome shakes, Minion's treats) are also available at Universal Studios Hollywood, but we don't have a Seuss Landing so I am intrigued by the Who Hash!
I find it odd that people complain about sodas being absent from the wizarding world. First, why would anyone want to get a boring drink at a theme park? Second, you can still get water or whatever if you do want something “normal”. I think it’s cool that they take theming that far at universal-it’s an example of why I prefer universal to Disney nowadays.

the soft serve with the flavor ribbons on the outside are called Flavor Burst and I got an ice cream stand in my area that finally got it! I went last weekend and got vanilla with Pecan and I was in heaven! I think you can Google flavor burst near me to find it

@@DFBGuide another question-- just want to make sure I got this right… if I arrive at the resort on Sunday Nov 3 but not going to parks until the next day, does booking my lightening lane reservations start that Sunday before on Oct 27, (7 days before) if we aren’t going to a park that day? Or can I not start booking until the next day on that Monday?

If you buy the coke free refill cup for the day, you can fill it up with your soda of choice outside Harry Potter and bring it in with you. That's what I always do because I want sugar free beverages most of the time.
I’m quite excited that DFB tries out more Food, I can imagine covering more theme parks than just the USA Disney parks will also provide stability in case Disney goes full villain arc (and maybe my biased distant hope of a DFB Efteling video will come true XD)
Rowling herself strictly forbid against regular soda products as it would ruin the magic and theme. I agree. Not many may know this actually but in building IOA, the very first structure built and put in the park were the Zax, two dr suess characters who in the book refuse to move out of each others way when they cross paths. In the time they refuse to move a whole civilization is built around them. Roads and highways. Universal stuck so hard to the theming they built all of IOA around those 2 characters, just like how the roads and highways were built around them in the books. Personally it doesn’t bother me. I like the different drinks they have in HP world. That lemon squash one was very good
We were so disappointed with VooDoo doughnuts! We are from the UK and were soo excited to try them, got the huge mixed box to try all of them and not one of them was particularly enjoyable. It all just tasted 'sweet', no particular flavours. Ended up throwing most away

If someone gave me the option of going to either Universal or Disney World free of charge for life, there would be no contest, I would choose Universal. Disney has proven for years that, not only are they greedy to the point where they don’t care if their fans can afford a day at Disney anymore, but they don’t mind biting the hands that feed them. 💙💙

The lord lad donuts are really bad at orlando but Hollywood has more of a variety, and they taste better
