To the musician who said this is so League of Legends coded, she gets it! Aespa's musical identity is so tied to technology, futurism and video game concepts. And to think Aespa were not chosen to sing the anthem for the LoL 2023 Championships when it fits perfectly to their brand is such a questionable decision.
The creative directors of AESPA were inspired by KDA and industral EDM/rock before AESPA debuted. Whici is why they have a lot of similarities! Of course they're clearly not the same concept and sound-wise. Also with AESPA's new song SUPERNOVA, I can't help but see a bit of a similarity with XG with the cinematography.
drama is in my top 5 most replayed songs of 2023. it's so dark, intense, and powerful. the high-notes are sooo good especially ningning's during the pre-chorus (for some reason her vocal tone makes it more dramatic than winter's). most of the times i just sit and listen to the song, i love going through it and just feel it!

When Drama came out, I was OBSESSED!! While I get the analysis on the song not being more impactful about the trauma line, I feel like it does what it needs to do. Especially when singing along to the song, I feel so strong and in control when “I break trauma” comes on.

Given that Drama is about the girls taking control of their lives, of their stories, I feel like something like trauma is usually defined by a loss of control. Not being able to control the circumstance you went through, or how people treated you. Breaking the trauma is symbolic of defiantly declaring that trauma won’t define you and it won’t define your story. At least that’s how I interpret it and it’s my favorite line of the song for just how simple yet powerful it is

I Iove aespa's music. It’s unique. It’s futuristic. Their storyline/lore is intriguing. Their discography is diverse. I love their concept. I love their sound. Their vocals are amazing. Their rapping is dope. Their dancing is top-tier. They have great visuals. Their choreographies are awesome. Their MVs are phenomenal.
