This "Too much editing" in Armageddon has its purpose cause it's about AI and they are finding and defining their own selves in this whole mess cause they are the only aespa and AI is bad so there can't be two. And the Supernova has opened a dimension to that place, it's about their metaverse, it's all connected. Their MVs are very lore-heavy.

They are the most successful and popular KPOP girl group right now. They have full AI versus the Girls documentary on their channel with a story line/ concept of what they're showing in their music videos. It's superb and well-budgeted all the time!
14:40 they release behind the scenes of most of their MVs and also dance practices and studio recordings. So you can see exactly how hard they work. Which is a lot! Just the training they go through is amazing. Not only for their dance choreo but their stunt works like Karina doing her sword fight in Drama. hardest working girls!
aespa has a lot of lore going on which is quite easy to follow if you watch from their debut and watch the smcu episodes that’s why they’ll always have a lot going on but I love love their songs, so catchy and different, queens.

In its first week (May 27 - June 3), the album "Armageddon" sold 1,154,742 physical copies, and pre-release track "Supernova" has been number one on four major Korean charts for the fourth week. By comparison, Eminem's latest album, ''Death of Slim Shady'', sold 281,000 copies in its first week. And in the main chart “MelOn”, the track “Supernova” has been in first place for the tenth week.

Another thing about Aespa some people notice is them hitting high notes but their faces being like "🙂" as opposed to looking like they're screaming in the void lol. Also their mvs have lore, it's all one continuous story.

Love aespa so much! They have other type of songs as well esp in their B-sides. Some of my fav non-title songs from them include Thirsty (track vid), Illusion (dance practice) and Hold on Tight (eng ost). Can't wait for more aespa reactions. Other girl groups that I also love and are talented are SNSD (new concepts every era) and Red Velvet (Red for pop/quirky songs and Velvet for R&B). They are from the same company (SM) as aespa.

different girl groups have different themes. aespas songs have background themes (armagheddon was based off of a horror genre that includes a lof of digital footage, in supernova each of them have super powers (karina the first shown is super strength, winter flying was air control, giselle holding the phone was time control and ning ning was fire control).
if you like more realistic and less editied/ heavily themed you'll definitely like new jeans. they are more of a "group of girls hanging out" concept. Kiss Of Life is another god realistic group whos had like rebelious themed videos for their debut.

My favorite girl group is Red Velvet ❤️ (MVs you could react: Psycho, Feel My Rhythm, Chill Kill, Cosmic,…). Then Aespa. And Kiss of Life, Le Sserafim, XG. My favorite boy group is NCT. And they have so many subunits that is like having different boy groups to enjoy 💚 (MVs you could start with - in this order - NCT U’s Make A Wish, 90’s Love and Work It and then NCT’s Resonance).

Gosh yes aespa. Theyre so good live too so when they did coachella they really just slayed. As for them having calmer and cuter songs, though, yes aespa has a lot of differeny vibes on their albums but they dont really go off their strong girl concept for title tracks. However, Life's Too Short is definitely a cuter and softer vibe from them! And! Their variety show is so good!!! Definitely please watch it too!

If you think you heard Supernova, it's possible. It's been trending and #1 on Korean charts for 3 WHOLE months since it released. They also had a whole lore connected with their concept. and this is supposedly season 2(If they go ahead with it)

😁I'm always amazed about the differences between women & men reacting to kpop girl groups: almost without fail, the women first comments are about the style of the singers, like their clothes, hair , nails & after (if they still have the time) they talk a little about the music itself 🤣. In contrast, the men first take into the account the music, lyrics, choreos & ofc a little (or not so little 😁) simping over the girls. It says a lot about how men & women brains work ...
Armaggedon lore is about them hiding away from aliens, karina hiding in a warehouse, ningning hiding in the bathroom and winter hiding in (i forgot what place) but giselle is the only one outside and not hiding, at the end where they have glitter on their face is that they all didnt succeed in hiding and the aliens took their body, karina was on ningning's final form's eye and winter has wings
