NOOOOO... Drinking is HUGE in Korea!!! We used to be among the #1 drinking countries in the world, even above Russia (although I think it may have dropped down now?). Recently (like the past maybe decade or two), there is kind of a movement towards drinking a bit less (I blame some of it on a lot of "woke" or western influence), but traditionally, we have always been a huge drinking culture, and it (along with eating) plays a big part in a lot of our social interactions and activities.

Yes, like others explained, this is just a subunit (the performance unit). Which is why there’s a lot of focus on the dance and performance aspects. The subunits are very important because with a group as large as this one, you can probably see that each person gets a limited amount of time on the full group songs. The subunits give them the opportunity to break into their specialty groups and really showcase what they’re especially good at. And to do concepts that may not suit the whole group. You saw how “Lalali” was rap heavy, for the hip hop unit. And you will see with the vocal unit on “Cheers to Youth”. Subunits just give the members more of a chance to do what they do best. Instead of splitting up 3 1/2 minute long song between 13 people, now they only have to split it between four or five people.
