NOOOOO... Drinking is HUGE in Korea!!! We used to be among the #1 drinking countries in the world, even above Russia (although I think it may have dropped down now?). Recently (like the past maybe decade or two), there is kind of a movement towards drinking a bit less (I blame some of it on a lot of "woke" or western influence), but traditionally, we have always been a huge drinking culture, and it (along with eating) plays a big part in a lot of our social interactions and activities.
