- Hey riders, welcome back to Sam's Bikes! In today's video, we're doing the long-term 6-month review of the Canyon Strive:ON Custom Dream Build. We'll not only be reviewing the Canyon Strive ON, but also each component that went into the dream build. Totally Pablo the best thing of this bike is rides better than it looks and that’s saying something
I've gone through a shite load of tyres on many Enduro stages and found this combo killer, Mary's front, big Betty out back, current tryingout the pirelli M Enduro front and S out rear, not completely sold on them.
yes mate Big Betty is good but for me Tacky is a little better on the back maybe doesnt last as long

Wish they sold them in Australia. Canyon have taken all the emtbs off their Aussie site. Currently riding a CF8 Mullet and love Canyon, getting older and needing an emtb.
The strive on was my ebike of choice last year but it didn’t become available in Australia,
Be interesting to see if that changes

Nice review Sam. I just want to check if you have the issue in which the plactic latch for the battery broke/flexed and switched the bike off especially after doing a decent size jump?

Hi Sam,
Another great video. I noticed you were talking about making it a 29. Is there enough room? I know the levo S4 and larger can be made into a 29. This changes the Geo a little bit, but you could even it out by putting a taller fork on and just gaining some BB clearance. And really the places you need a 29 are the very rocky trails which it’s not a bad thing to have the extra clearance.

I bought it because of your video the only complaints I have with it is that the back part of the bike has no rubber between the linkage to protect the frame and the second one are the brake discs that make noise

Sam, when you I hear you say the Turbo Levo and the Strive On are the best bikes on the market, I think you need to come over to Portugal and test ride my new Crestline RS 180... It's a class apart. 😂 (PS: you know I had a Turbo Levo right?! ) 🤭

Never felt that way to me. I mean it's his self created dream bike, so there's going to be a little understandable bias 💜 Lots of details and honest options, which I appreciate 😎
Thanks mate i felt I was super honest with all interesting parts some amazing some not so much!
I think Sam credibility is more than proven, the first recommendation I followed was in 2020 with a set of tires and after that, every advice I followed was as it was described on the videos. He really deeply tests the material and he knows what he is talking about.
