I don't know if this is something you're going continue with, for every podcast, but I really like how it's borderline a "Book of the Month Club". -- Keeps the fans engaged and up-to-date with all the books.

Yeah my biggest takeaway from Brotherhood other than Anakin and Obi Wan's relationship shift was "OMG stop making it that much sadder when Anakin kills the younglings by giving him more meaningful moments with younglings!" But also, yes please do that. More of that please.
FINALLY finished reading Brotherhood during my lunch break. So glad to finally be listening to y'all's review, and I am going to be starting on Light of the Jedi next. Can't wait to hear y'all's thoughts on that at well
I mainly follow Blind Wave for the Star Wars content, and now that you’re doing books this podcast honestly has the potential to become my favorite Blind Wave content. This one was so fun and you picked a great book to start with! I can’t wait for the next one, The High Republic has very quickly become one of my all time favorite Star Wars stories, and Light of the Jedi is the first Star Wars book I’ve ever read THREE times (I’ve read a few twice). Very excited for you guys to jump into this wonderful era of Star Wars. Enjoy!

I fell in love with Cato Nemoidia in The Force Unleashed II. Tarko-Se was essentially the precursor to Canto Bight; i.e., a wealthy city filled with casinos and a large sports arena. Even though the Neimoidians played a small part in terms of the story, you really get a feel for their culture through the architectural design, clothing, and art on the walls. I really love how Mike Chen expanded on the Neimoidian lore in Brotherhood and I hope to see more of them in future Canon content. If it isn't clear enough already, they're one of my favorite Star Wars species along with the Sullustans, Hutts, and Ishi Tib. 😅
I love this podcast. I grew up around Star Wars but only in the last year have I dove in rewatching all the movies, the clone wars, etc. So I am learning so much about the universe and this podcast is great. I would definitely listen if you posted more often. Keep it up guys!
At 1:28:19, Aaron talks about not knowing Zabraks have two hearts. If you re-watch the fight between Palpatine and Maul/Savage, you can see that Palpatine kills Savage by stabbing him in two spots on his chest.
I`m loving the podcast, but honestly I expected nothing less! Really looking forward for the next one, Light of the Jedi is propably my favourite Star Wars book. You guys are going to love it
I hope you guys get to talk about the Dooku audiobook! It’s really good. I think that book, Master and Apprentice (which they referenced in brotherhood) and Brotherhood are a great back to back read! Oh also in s7 of the clone wars they’re not on Cato Neimodia. They’re on a planet called Yerbana. Love this podcast! Can’t wait to hear more!
Jonathan Davis (who narrates the audiobook) has done numerous Star Wars audiobooks, both legends and canon! My particular favourite other than Brotherhood is Master & Apprentice which is about Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan.
My absolute favourite Star Wars books though are Star Wars: Clone Wars Gambit: Stealth & Siege by Karen Miller (audiobooks narrated by Jeff Gurner).

As a lifelong Star Wars fan who also happens to be trans I'm so greatful that you were both open and accepting of Sister. Transphobia and hate are on the rise everywhere, and I'm so glad to see that Blind Wave, one of the places I love to go to get away from all that awfulness and just live geeky stuff, are still one of the best places.
The creation of Sister meant a lot to a lot of LGBTQ+ Star Wars fans, particularly the trans fans. I was overjoyed to see her inclusion in Brotherhood.
Thank you Eric and Aaron, and the entirety of Blind Wave, for being amazingly kind people.
I’d like to echo your thoughts. I’d not heard about sister until now and will be checking both books out now. Her armour looks badass.

@@sara-jayn Blindwave is my happy place, and their Star Wars content is a big part of that. I have to be honest, when they mentioned Sister I had a moment of dread because it was like 'is this where years of joy suddenly vanish', because so many people are being so cruel now. So happy it was the exact opposite. Blind Wave are just great folks 😊
Other big takeaway was just getting a different look at Cato Nemoida. Like watching Kitar get puppetted and then give this impassioned speech and get pushed to the point of being willing to blow up his own people to make a point was pretty compelling.
Please release these more often I need them to get through my shift at work !
Star Wars and Blind Wave are my jam so Badonkagonk is right up my alley. As a reader too, this is an awesome way to enjoy those books and hear your take on them, so I'm all for it! Will be reading Light of the Jedi in the time for the next podcast.

If you guys wanted more backstory for Dooku becoming the Count of Serenno, you guys should read or even better, listen to Dooku: Jedi Lost. It was an audio book before it got a printed release and is written in play form and tells about Dooku’s life from being a youngling to leaving the Jedi order, a lot of it is told through flashbacks as Asajj Ventress learns more about Dooku and it explores his relationship with his family, his friendship with Sifo-Dyas, and the events leading up to him becoming Count. I’d highly recommend it

My theory of the 2nd R2 is that the first one was dragged via rope by the wheels and the second one could be the “real” R2. You notice that it was a really sharp turn there and I doubt they had the time or budget to build R2 with the turning capabilities. What tipped me off is that the 2nd R2’s head twitches but the first one does not.
Just catching up with this episode now. It was my first Star Wars book and it was great. Loving the podcast and can't wait for the Light of the Jedi discussions which I also just finished reading.

I thought that when r2 walks, like when he actually wobbles from side to side walking, that’s when Kenny when in there, I thought when it’s was on wheels and rolling smooth, it was remote control
Love the podcast/ just one small complaint: The audio seems to be pretty quiet even on full volume.

also Padme sent Sabe to try to free slaves on Tatooine. i love how other material really enhances Anakin and padmes relationship. with each book/comic i read makes anakins fall even more tragic

Dooku is rich, but he’s not SO rich as to single-handedly fund the entire Separatist Alliance lol. Don’t forget that some of the most influential founding members of the CIS were intergalactic mega corporations like the Trade Federation and Banking Clan, who probably did most of the financial heavy lifting.

I really love hearing you guys talk about Star Wars, cause you guys go into this as nice, fair and casual, diehard and full on nerdy, and as technical and movie makers. You guys look at this stuff at all angles and that adds so much variety to how we view Star Wars. I also loved how you guys handled the book for this month, with having one of you read it and one of you listening it, again tackling it from all angles and seeing how it affected how you guys thought about the book. (I especially loved with names how one of you know how to spell it but not say it and the other knew how to say it but not spell it). I honestly would love for this to be a bi weekly series, but I would also love the reading aspect to be monthly cause I don’t want to rush you guys through the books, especially with all the hard work you guys have to do. Thank you so much and may the force be with you.

enjoyed this podcast, as someone that wasn't into star wars at a young age this podcast is a great listen as it and I grow more into the fandom. Hope it becomes a twice a month podcast really enjoy it.
