    I am so happy that I found your channel. I have made over 50 Wind Spinners, and have made 2 of your baby blankets. And now I have found your Harlequin blanket. My mom crocheted a Harlequin blanket in fall colors. I have remembered this blanket since I was 5 years old. I am now 65. Unfortunately, the blanket has been lost or given to someone else as well as the pattern. Finding this has lifted my heart. Now to find the colors.

    I think after making the main blanket I'll make the sampler in a full size...I like the way it looks with the smaller diamonds...well now to get my basket I made to hold the Lizzie colours and put together my colours for Harlequin..I'm busy working on another scrap project right now, and unless it's one you've worked on in the past then I'll leave it unmentioned...I'm getting close to the end of it..

    Hi Anja have started to do this CAL and enjoying using different colours. However, I’m tying myself in knots whether or not the non-working yarn always comes to the front when you make the colour change? I’m finding that on some of the diamonds at the colour change stitch, a little dash of the ‘other’ colour is visible instead of a nice single completed stitch. It doesn’t happen every time but I wonder if I’m pulling the yarn too tight, not tight enough or if the non-working yarn gets laid down at back instead of front? Hope you can make sense of my ramble - thanks by the way for all your lovely work, you make it look effortless! 🥴😊

    • @OpheliaTalks
      @OpheliaTalks  2 года назад

      Without seeing you actually crochet it is difficult to say what you could be doing wrong, I suggest you watch the video again, maybe a couple of times on that section so you know how I place my yarn. I hope this helps, Anja x

    Please advise : what is the finished size of the full blanket and the sample? I thought for sure that you had said the sizes (somewhere) BUT I cannot find the information, and it’s not stated in the written instructions on the blog either?! (At least I can’t find it…).

    • @OpheliaTalks

      The blanket is my play blanket size of 110cms x 110cms. The cushion fits a filler of 50cms square, the sampler is flexible, you can make it bigger or smaller depending on what you want to use it for! Anja x

    I Absolutely Love this ! I just headed over to order the yarn pack but I'm a little confused. If I buy the yarn pack for this blanket , Is it enough yarn to complete the blanket in the pattern ( 169 stitches )? In the description of the yarn it says it's to make a smaller blanket ? Can you please clarify this before I make my purchase .

    • @juliemurray4719
      @juliemurray4719 2 года назад +1

      You will have more than enough to make this blanket and the cushion cover, by smaller blanket in the description on the webshop it means smaller than a twin size blanket. Hope this helps
