How many yards of yarn did you need and how many total squares did you make?
@@jomama5186 I made 20 squares total for a sofa sized throw. As far as yarn goes, I am unsure as I used scrap balls of yarn. I would think 8 skeins would do it because unless you are doing it all in one color, you do not have to worry about dye lots. They are so beautiful and I really enjoy working on them. You will love the finished blanket!

This is such a lovely blanket and would really love if you would create a sequel to this one showing how you actually sewed the backing to it as well as that pretty little bag to keep the blanket in. This would really make a lovely gift. Thank you for all your tutorials.💕🍀💕

This is my favorite Ophelia pattern. I made the blanket, but also used this pattern for several other pieces that weren't blankets, but had adapted well to this stitch and pattern. Thanks for opening up my world and teaching me this pattern.

I love this blanket. When I was watching you show your grandmothers blankets I was trying to see how that one was made, then thought to look through your videos and here it is. I loved this blanket when I saw it on your other video and I worked out how to do the squares. I made quiet a large blanket from this pattern and I love it.
I would have liked to see you sew the backing on to the front!! It also helps some who don't know how to handle it on the machine! Love your videos but please include all of the steps! Great job! Sincerely Janey from NC

I really love this blanket. I am going to make this and I think the fleece lining was a great idea. I wish you would have filmed the sewin of the lining. Knowing the sewing foot and tension you used would be helpful.

I'm loving this square for using up my leftover skeins and scraps of yarns! It's so easy and transportable. I take it with me my hubby's weekly Dr visit. Because of Covid I have to stay in the car. This truly helps pass the time and I feel so productive .

I love this little blanket, and the little stars I like and see fireworks. I will be making one or several for my grown children that have children of their own and the fireworks will be in the favorite color of each one in their family.
