I love the idea of signing and dating the blankets. A dear friend has become nearly blind, but can still crochet large Afghan blankets - I will embroider some labels for her so that they can be attached to her projects. Thank you for sharing your grandmother’s beautiful work!

This video brought me back to my grandmother who I miss dearly, she taught me too how to crochet and I too have so many of her lovely blankets. This brought tears to my eyes but happy tears, I miss her so much but I do wrap myself up in many of her lovely creations. Thank you again.

She was great at weaving in ends! Usually a collection like this will have little ends sticking out here and there from use over the years. They're beautiful!
