There isnt an XLT on the road that costs $56,000. That could be the most outrageous markup I've ever seen. I got my XLT for 18,000 less than that with the same option group. My neighbor got the king ranch for just over 56,000 an it has almost every option you can get.
I have a Lariat with the Roush supercharger. I was wondering if I made a mistake spending more on a Lariat. All I had to see was 11:05, no cooled seats, and no 4A setting to know XLT is a no go. Cooled seats are self explanatory, and 4A is a must if you get a supercharger. Without it, you will spin tires a lot on 2H. 4H is not intended for street use, its ok to use once in a while at a green light or at a drag strip but 4A is much better for everyday use. I don't know if the XLT has it but a heated steering wheel is also a must for anywhere but the hottest parts of the USA. Also: My truck is a LARIAT Crew cab F150, 59,000 base +10,000 for supercharger, labor, fluids, new oil (5w50 vs 5w20) etc. = 69,000 10k less than this truck. My advice would be YES, the supercharger is fun as hell, but build your own truck with the dealership. The stickers, bumper, and interior with no cooled seats are not worth 10K over a Lariat with just the supercharger.
@@jacobhiebsch4992 4A is 4 Auto. Power is defaulted to the rear wheels but goes to the front as well when needed. As an example in my truck, the main road from my house is up a slight hill and its busy, meaining when I have a gap I need to floor the gas to get on the road. The truck sense it needs to power all 4 tires to not slip, and does so (theres an option to see how much power is going to which wheels on the dashboard) and then when Im on the road and just crusing, it goes 100% to the rear wheels, but if say, it was raining and I floor it again, it will transfer like 25% power to the front wheels while i accelerate so I don't slip. Again, unlike 4H it will turn off front power so you can turn well, then reapply when you floor it in a strait away. I have found it very nice and 4A is my default drive mode.
@@jacobhiebsch4992 All wheel drive vs 4 wheel drive. 4 wheel drive sends the same amount of power to all four wheels, which is great when you are off roading. All wheel drive sends a dynamic amount of power to each wheel, which is way better for on the road, because as you turn the outside wheels will be moving faster than the inside wheels. Since the wheels are locked to the same speed with 4WD this will provide some less than desirable results while driving around roads.

I had the exhaust rearranged at the end of the sidesteps on both sides in the back, then had every thing blacked out along with it being lowered a bit and having the interior redone as I did not like it cause it looked so cheap like shelby’s interior.
I love to have truck like that but one thing that holds me back, price. 56xxx for truck and 23xxx more for Roush magic done on it. You telling me that Roush pays full sticker price on truck and they don’t get a group price discount? Bad business practices to me. Still like watching the videos anyway. Btw, I agree with Mitchell, why didn’t the f150 badge get blacked out like prior models? Forgot to or saving money? Lol
I think you might be confused. Roush never “paid” for the chassis. Our dealership bought the chassis from Ford, then it gets drop-shipped to Roush for the modifications. Then Town & Country pays ROUSH for those modifications. You can get a discount off of the chassis AND the Roush package. If you’d like a competitive quote, give us a call. 205-491-0000.

I know what 4L and 4H is but what is 4A?
Mitchell, are there stages like the Mustang? Are those the only Roush wheels available? Do you still get the regular wheels and seatcovers? If I went with a regular cab Nightmare, what would that run price wise? A loaded 302a regular cab would be stupid fast. Mongo likes stupid fast!!
You have the Roush F-150 Sport. and the Roush Nitemare. The big difference is the powertrain. The regular cab version runs 0-60 mph in 3.9 seconds.
Whats the power on the sport? Is there info on your website?
Sold!! 🙂🙂
I'm not a Ford man but that indeed is a nice truck!💯
Love the grill...
They are giving away a leveling kit.... do they are giving away a headlight adjustments in combo? There is a lot of blinding trucks nowadays :-(.
18:30 something, sounded like you mentioned being excited by a two wheel truck? Edit....two wheel "drive" truck
Contrary to you Mitchell, I like the chrome F-150 logos, but I detest the orange striping on the seats!
I noticed in the start...what headlamps do they have in this thing?? Better not be 18$ halogen from advanced Auto parts?
Its all fun and games till ram gets a demon/hellcat edition lol
Its called the TRX
🤣😂🤣🥴
Rain man Jr Just wait :)
If look at this comparison to dodge is that ford build motors is different in each as to dodge the just use the same motor drop in and done, I guess that's all dodge need a hellcat or demon to beat a Ford..
@@geestang2662 pardon?
Love that truck! But don't believe people really win things like that. Too good to be true!
I bought the nightmare lariat and I did some tweaks in my opinion to make it look better.
Town and Country TV thanks for defining the process. I guess that makes sense to do that instead of the way I thought.
What’s the HP and Torque?
I still like the RTR spec truck design better but, the interior seats are pretty nice regardless Roush did a good job. This truck would be look much better with dual aftermarket exhaust in my opinion.
Beautiful truck other than the beyond DONE TO DEATH BLACK RIMS! They would have to go immediately and some kind of highly polished aluminum maybe with some black in the center.
I want one so freakin bad. I’d trade in my Harley and my f150. Man that truck is BAD!
sk8777kid1 It is a nice truck but you can buy a couple of boats and a new truck to pull them for the same price. 😆😆😆😆
Louis Berry boats even more useless than a Harley in my opinion. Rather have a badass truck or the new gt500 I like to go fast
Does the price include it already being previously drag raced in? Or does that cost extra? 😂
When you say “notorious,” that means that they are famous for something bad, but in this case you were pointing out things you liked which means they are “famous” for.
Badass truck wow
So it’s just a blown base model f150. Just take a well equipped truck to vmp and get the same power if not more
Kind of shocked none of the big car Tubers have never touched one of these.
You had me at 4.1
& how much is that Standard Cab version, shown in beginning?
I LIKE THE TRUCK AND NEW MODIFICATIONS.......
Nobody just " throws a supercharger on". It has to be planned out and tuned accordingly. Definitely a nice truck though
I hope this means there will be a hellcat dodge truck and a zl1 powered chevy truck
Y’all been watching my boy take down people with the regular cab whipple supercharger F-150
Bet his truck cost less too. At the end of the day that's all you need, a regular cab with 4x4 and a supercharger.
FordPoweredEveryday just how it works ...takes a two door regular cab xlt and put his brains and craft into it, gets the attention and bam big Corp steals the idea... and for less money I guarantee he would still whoop this build
@@gspadez Easily. Sad how big corporations gotta steal someone's idea and mark it up for way too much money. But people who can afford it will still buy, so the big corporations will just keep going.
If it's a fast street truck on street tires and 22's it should sit lower. No need for huge clearance since it won't be going off road with those wheels and tires. They should have lowered it right down above the tires. That's the first thing I would do if I bought one.
