Fun fact, Michael was actually extremely disappointed in his Motown 25 performance. He was planning on hitting the toe stand, holding it and then finishing the performance. But continuing helped develop the rest of the choreography for the song in years to come.
It was very interesting to hear what you had to say about MJ’s self-confidence. The work that he he had to do was remarkable. To be on point every moment in a long song is something few people could do. On a different note, could you give us a lesson about Tom Waits’ performance? Ty

THE GREATEST ARTIST OF ALL TIME 👑♥️
Michael Jackson will always be a musical genius.. Absolutely insane talents.
When a of a high caliber as Michael Jackson, it does not matter how unusual or weird he is but he is a genius. He influenced so many and his music will live on.
Weird?? Why
I don't think he's weird per say but you have to remember he no childhood at all he spent his life on the road and add that to the abuse he suffered is it any wonder he felt uncomfortable in his own skin
@@DanielSmith-pq4yc he had vitiligo and lupus.
@@shronazam276 yes I know this both conditions are awful and that one of the reasons he began bleaching his skin. My theory on the nose job was his. Nose and face reminded him of his father and therefore the abuse he suffered at the hands of his father. No wonder why he wanted to change it.
You gotta watch his whole Grammy award performance in 1988!!!! Hands down the best Grammy award performance of all time. Ps: my mom was there in Munich 97. 🥲
Technically this is mostly lip synced so I wouldn't really call it live, but still incredible nonetheless.
I was wondering when she will realize it 😄
MJ lip synced a lot. He was entertaining but that always bugged me.
@@eyeamrandy70 yeah especially with a voice as good as his, but it's understandable given how hard it is to sing and dance at the same time, he's only human at the end of the day.
@@eyeamrandy70 he didn’t lipsync his whole career you forgetting about the bad victory destiny and triumph tours?
MJ is the best performer of all time at least that we have footage of but I've to say your reaction was also on point ! We already knew he was great and "oh my god, he did the moonwalk" but you truly added insights as to being oneself with your voice and owning the moment ! A like and sub for sure.
Awesome song, awesome performance. 100% playback on vocals tho.. as other suggest, please react to a 1988 performance .
Best wishes
Not really 100%, as it clearly changes to live vocals shortly after the moonwalk.
This song and smooth criminal were my favourite songs and still are. like literally rip michael rn no one makes music like you but we still have your masterpieces
Uuuuu yeah BABBY!!! Hail the King of Pop.
The performer becomes one with the performance. Michael Jackson was a great singer and dancer but most of all he was that rare thing: a performer. From the first time I heard him on the radio when he was a baby at Motown I could hear his greatness. I hadn't seen him live cause this was in the late 60's before video but I just said to myself this guy is the future of music.
Fun fact, Michael was actually extremely disappointed in his Motown 25 performance. He was planning on hitting the toe stand, holding it and then finishing the performance. But continuing helped develop the rest of the choreography for the song in years to come.
It was playback, so it wasn’t supposed to end after the toe stand. He was disappointed with it though
Let’s take a moment to appreciate MJ’s incredible athletic ability.
It was very interesting to hear what you had to say about MJ’s self-confidence. The work that he he had to do was remarkable. To be on point every moment in a long song is something few people could do. On a different note, could you give us a lesson about Tom Waits’ performance? Ty
An ICON, the greatest entertainer ever that walked the earth, a perfectionist, his performance was effortless, miss you so much 😢RIP 🎵 🎶 your music will live forever 🎵 🎶 ♥️ 💕 💖 ❤️ 🎵 🎶
On stage He never crossed any lines. He defined the lines for others to follow.
The iconic parts are all the history, and understanding what it meant and who he was. Michaels crown will never be held by another.
This performance was 90% playback, but his moves are amazing and magical.
But if you really wanna be speechless react to "Rock with You" at Wembley 1988
Simply are incredible vocals.
Long live the king of pop !!!
97%
97% the show the whole show 90% playback. And yea RWY From the BWT is something amazing.
The best entertainer ever walked on earth! You left us too soon Michael. Rest in peace!
