Lol you're drunk. Soto might be the best pure hitter in baseball and he's by far the most confident. At (supposedly) 19, he single handedly carried the Nationals offense to a WS title over the best pitching duo and best team in baseball. Took both of their best pitchers deep in critical moments. Put the Yankees in the WS with a monster clutch homer. Left handed power bat that will hover in the high 200s to low 300s average. 400+ OBP on autopilot. And he's probably going to become a DH which means he'll play until he's 40+. When it's all said and done he will probably go down as one of the best hitters in baseball history
Still don’t think he is worth 700 he can’t pitch run or field at a high level your paying for an eventual dh who will never have the ability to to be anything more than just a hitter an amazing hittter but a hitter none the less. 500 or 550 is the most he should get imo but aye let the billions spend their money however they want
I think any team that pays Soto that kind of money will regret it. He's already been to a bunch of "win now" teams and he couldn't help them get over the hump. Hell the Padres looked better this year without him. The Yankees literally just lost with this guy in their lineup for less money, now he expects to come back to the same team for 500 to 600 million dollars more? These teams are smoking crack. MLB teams should do the same thing they did last year to Boras's clients, low ball them.
He played a key role in getting the Nats organization their only ring, a huge role in getting the Yankees to the World Series for the first time in 15 years, and it's not his fault that Brain Cashman was willing to grossly overpay for him soon after AJ Preller grossly overpaid for him. If he doesn't get over $400M then Boras needs to retire, regardless of how much of an overpay it is (and it will be an overpay, that's just how A-list free agents work in MLB).
By your logic, Ohtani shouldn't have gotten signed because, despite playing with one of the best players of the generation in an era where 40% of teams make the playoffs, he never made the playoffs until this season. I truly believe Soto will remain a Yankee. (I’m probably dead wrong but listen) He mentioned how much he cares about winning and the culture and he has all of that with the Yankees. As long as the Yankees give me a competitive contract he’d stay put imo
You don't know anymore than any bus driver about this. The worst thing that can happen is the Mets don't tie up 600 million that can be spread out on other players. Soto simply isn't worth Ohtani money.
@TiagoGomez-hb9te Soto is a lousy outfielder. He cannot steal bases. Ohtani stole 50 bases, hit 50 HRs, batted .300 and can pitch like an ace starter. Soto is half the player Ohtani is.
Soto is not my choice. His numbers are above average and consistent. He is not Judge or Othani . Only hit 40 plus homers once this past year at hitter friendly Yankee stadium. Soto seems to want the most money no matter who the team is. He just went to the world series with the Yankees you would think he would want to stay. But as long as Judge is on the team , Soto would not be the main guy. Soto will go to a team that He is the Big star. Won SoHo headed to Mets
my very best predictions is Soto will stay in NY either with Yankees or Mets.
My wild wild predictions is he's gonna go to Guardian or Giants 😂😂
but, with the number (be it 700 for 14-15 years) he ask, I don't think he's gonna go to Dodgers because it's defying the very reason Ohtani deferred his money.
and my prediction is Soto between 400-450, max 500, BUT again if some owner willing to pay him up to 1B then so be it
I truly believe Soto will remain a Yankee.
Why is that?
@TiagoGomez-hb9te Soto is a lousy outfielder. He cannot steal bases. Ohtani stole 50 bases, hit 50 HRs, batted .300 and can pitch like an ace starter. Soto is half the player Ohtani is.
@ Soto draws way more walks and strikes out less… That’s why his WAR this year is around an 8…
It seems so obvious that I don't see it happening.
It sounds good but what about the rest of the team? They need a lot to compete
Red Sox should go for him.
Soto isn't going to the Mets like Yamamoto Soto is staying with the Yankees I guarantee it.
Mets need to bring back the Polar Bear and get some aces in the starting rotation.
He just turned 26
@@vicpicksinvesting5380 So? Bryce Harper hit 40+ in his 23 and he never hit 40 again. Dodger sign Othani big bux because he elite pitcher and hitter, and now we know he has speed.... and Dodger know He paid that big bux himself via merchandise, ticket sales, and advertisement and what make it more sweet he deffer most of his pay ... I doubt Soto can do this.
Yankee stadium was not hitter friendly for soto in fact it took some homers from him mlb even make a post explaining this in detail. Also I agree he is not judge or ohtani he actually plays good in the playoffs...
G shit if you watched the postseason he’s better especially when it really matters. I’d rather have Soto than judge
I'm pretty certain he hit more home runs away than he did at home this year. He's a pull hitter, so the short porch in right doesn't help him at all.
Cool story bro 😂.
also right after Cohen meets with Boras Hal is metting with Soto and Boras
I can't wait to the subway series Cole throws at Soto head jk
Damn! 😎
I like to think you made this video just because in your last one I said you forgot the Mets lol
Did I not explicitly state the Mets after Yankees? Haha
@@iTalkStudios Maybe you did and I just missed it, either way appreciate the videos :)
All this just to try to get past the dodgers😂
Yeah man, first year a team tries to get better by signing a free agent. Crazy, I know.
Soto is staying with the Yankees, and Christian Walker will be a Yankee too.
I'm not so sure he actually is a free agent. Since you're the only one I've heard say it, and you're a Red Sox fan... My assumption is you're just trolling Yankee fans.
I would lowk die if i saw soto as a met
If Look who gets the last meeting
I like Soto but please Mets don´t do it.
Juan Soto is not a real team player, he's a really selfish player who only cares about himself and nobody else but himself.
He will be on a private jet too
Soto becoming the most paid player of all time is disgrace to baseball
Yes. I think he has makes over 80 millions already plus the new contract
The highest paid player of all time for SOTO is insanity. Great offensisve weapon but rest hes not good.
He is awful defensively in right field and I fear he has a list of injuries coming his way. I wouldn't go crazy for Soto.
Lol 5:13 I can see myself.
they need pitching
He is great hitter but he not good outfielder
He's going to the White Sox. I was crying earlier. Confirmed already.
1:25 - reliable on the field? Yeah right! If it's not for the worst innings in baseball this year Sot would've been criticized for the lack of commitment on the field. This guy was literally jogging to fetch the ball.
