  • What if you could lift and replace volume with a filler but it gets better with time. Radiesse is that filler. Radiesse has calcium Hydroxylapatite crystals that increase volume, lift, and provide support. It is one of the most robust dermal fillers. But it also stimulates collagen and elastin to improve skin health and integrity.
Call or text RevitalyzeMD at 865-293-5828 to set up a consultation!
Radiesse is a bio-stimulatory filler. It can add volume to the cheeks and cheekbone.
It can also be used in the:
    Hands
    Temples
    Jaw
    Nose
    Neck
    Chest
    Arms
    Buttocks
    Hip dips
    And more.....
It gets rid of crepey skin by stimulating collagen and elastin. It tightens the skin and makes the skin in these areas more youthful appearing.

When are situations you would use sculptra instead of radiesse or vice versa or are they the same in your opinion?

    • @drdebradurst
      @drdebradurst  3 года назад +2

They are similar in that both are biostimulatory which stimulate collagen and elastin production. Here are the differences. Sculptra provides no immediate effect but does produce results over time. Radiesse is much more versatile in that it will volumize with immediate effects but stimulate your own production of Collagen and elastin over time. Hyperdilute Radiesse (HDR) is more similar to Sculptra---we dilute purposely to spread collagen and elastin and it is not meant to immediately volumize except for volume effects for 24-48hrs from injections. Radiesse does not require work from patient with continued massaging --because Radiesse not carry same risk of nodule formation. Therefore Radiesse offers more versatility in treatment with amazing results in skin texture changes even when used for volumizing. Check out the Hand video for a great before and after---a volumizing treatment with amazing skin texture improvement. Thank you for your question and for watching!!

Is there a risk of occlusion or nodules?

    Hi. I have a question.
Can 1ml of diluted Radiesse (1:1 dilution with saline) total for both lower cheeks (for acne scar treatment) cause facial distortion? My jawline seems to have disappeared. Now I have slight jowling and in general my once fine face is now super bottom heavy :((
I'm am so unhappy with how it turned out 😢😢 and think I'll never see my baseline face again :((
Will it ever 100% go back to baseline with that amount?
    Please help! Thanks.

How long ago did you have the treatment? Do you have before and afters of the treatments? Age? Skin age and treatment concerns do determine treatment details. We can say that radiesse is one of our fav products and the versatility is amazing. Studies support great collagen stimulation but it is a very robust filler. We typically use a 3:1 ratio in the face for texturizing effects---which are amazing. Please share some more details if possible. Could possibly do a RF microneedling which could smooth out, tighten and lift. Could be the next step???

@@drdebradurst Thanks a lot for the quick response. It was one treatment that was done on April the 13th (subcision together with 1:1 diluted Radiesse). My age is 27. You mean before and after pictures of my face? Yeah I do have these...and the doc should have before pics (but very close up of the scaring only mostly).
Am I right that 1:1 dilution (with saline) does still give quite the volume and not only collagen production? (Like your recommended 3:1)
As it was part of a acne scarring treatment it was placed where the scars are disregarding whether that would aesthetically be a good placement or not for added volume (it's the chipmunk placement that seems to have made my lower jaw so much more heavy looking, droopy and saggy that the jawline is so undefined now).
Would microneedling not worsen it by making collagen production even greater and therefore distorting my face even more? I'm really weary after this experience.
What's my chance to ever see baseline again with my age and that amount of diluted Radiesse?
Thanks a lot for your help!! 🙏🙏

Hi, I had a terrible result with radiesse that was injected into cheeks and chin. I desperately want my pre injected face to return but am worried I may never go back to my baseline . Injections were 10 months ago . Some volume has diminished but I am still no where close to my preinjected look . Have your patients ever completely returned to their baseline? I’ve tried to find clinical studies regarding longevity of product but there are few available and every doctor I’ve asked has a different response,. I’ve been told by some I will return to baseline, others said I may not because of new collagen , some have advised of surgical removal or saline to dispurse. Please if you have any insight please share

Hi. Over time the filler should naturally return to your normal baseline. However, every patient is different. Contact your local healthcare professional if you do not notice any change.

    • @drdebradurst

To helpfully reassure, we have never seen a Radiesse volume or distortion issue that has persisted. The Collagen and elastin formation is regenerative and therefore not an extraordinary formation. Surgery would not be needed and the only lasting distortion seen has been with permanent fillers and not biostimulatory fillers. Hope that helps. We would recommend returning to your original provider --discussing concerns and reviewing your before, after and now pictures with them. Hope that helps!

Hello there @johnsonjohnson711 I am so sorry this happened. I am dealing with the same issues in the chin and cheeks. I was injected with radiesse without knowing even the name. I had always gotten juvaderm in my lips, this first time ever getting in the cheeks SG AESTHETICS in Brookyln decided to inject a non dissolvable filler without telling me. And then proceed to add into my chin, even though I had not asked. Every day I am miserable. I cry every day. I want my old face back. I withdraw and have no desire to do anything anymore. I am even considering canceling my wedding next year. I am wondering how you are fairing now that it’s been 1 Year. Thank you

      Hi there :)
Can we chat? I'd love to hear how your situation turned out. Very sorry you had such a negative experience.
Unfortunately I share the same problem. Had it injected as part of an acne scar treatment and regret it sooo much. Was a total of 1ml for both cheeks (1:1 diluted).
I'm so afraid I will never see my baseline face again 😢😢😢
