    Since theres no specifically, reversal agent for either of these biostimulators, if Sculptra did cause a VO, what is the emergency protocol? Lastly, is there anything that can be done for nodules that arise, say, 3 months post treatment?

    Great video! Is Sculptra safer than HA filler? Unfortunately, I have had a terrible infection, volume loss, and scarring from HA filler on my medial right cheek and am still healing (3 months into it). I like filler but am reluctant to ever have it again after what I have been through!

      It’s a watery substance. As a result, it’s extremely rare that an occlusion will occur. There are rare risks associated with this, so please consult an experienced medical provider before any treatment.

    Can you get similar collagen activity from PRP or PRF? Is there a mechanical collagen induction from the movement of the cannula as well?

    • @danestheticsmedical
      @danestheticsmedical  Год назад +2

      In theory any type of trauma will stimulate collagen. But PRP/PRF will only produce a minor amount of collagen stimulation compared to these products.

      It all depends on the level of laxity. It’s not surgery and you should expect 20-30% improvement. Also sometimes you’ll just need one or two more treatments. Thanks for commenting!

    Just keep in mind that hyaluronic acid stays in the injected area for many many years, of course, most of it will be gone in 1 or 2 years but you will have some left even after 10 years, so be careful when choosing your practician, be sure that he is an actual doctor with experience, and be certified that he uses REAL hyaluronic acid (ask for the box, brand etc) never ever choose price over quality. If it's way cheaper than the others, almost 100% you are not getting authentic H.A filler but something else like PMMA or silicone instead, DO YOUR RESEARCH.
