Dear dr. Does radiesse ever completely absorb? Like will I ever see my baseline face again (be 100% truthful please)? Had 1:1 dilution with saline and a total of 1ml for both cheeks. Thanks a lot 🙏🙏🙏🙏
It all depends on the level of laxity. It’s not surgery and you should expect 20-30% improvement. Also sometimes you’ll just need one or two more treatments. Thanks for commenting!
@@danestheticsmedical Hi Dan, thank you so much for the answer. Indeed I did it twice. Did you use Ellanse products? Do you know if it is better then Radiesse?
Just keep in mind that hyaluronic acid stays in the injected area for many many years, of course, most of it will be gone in 1 or 2 years but you will have some left even after 10 years, so be careful when choosing your practician, be sure that he is an actual doctor with experience, and be certified that he uses REAL hyaluronic acid (ask for the box, brand etc) never ever choose price over quality. If it's way cheaper than the others, almost 100% you are not getting authentic H.A filler but something else like PMMA or silicone instead, DO YOUR RESEARCH.
Great video! Is Sculptra safer than HA filler? Unfortunately, I have had a terrible infection, volume loss, and scarring from HA filler on my medial right cheek and am still healing (3 months into it). I like filler but am reluctant to ever have it again after what I have been through!
It’s a watery substance. As a result, it’s extremely rare that an occlusion will occur. There are rare risks associated with this, so please consult an experienced medical provider before any treatment.
Since theres no specifically, reversal agent for either of these biostimulators, if Sculptra did cause a VO, what is the emergency protocol? Lastly, is there anything that can be done for nodules that arise, say, 3 months post treatment?

Sculptra is incredible
We love you doctor and we appreciate that you give us all this information thank you very much 🙏🏻
Thanks! I’m an NP 😊
This addresses all my concerns, I have been contemplating Radiesse. Thanks!
Dan makes me happy. Informative, upbeat and educational. 😃
Wow, this is fantastic knowledge, thank you!

Is there a risk of occlusion with these products? Thank you
Yes. And still nothing to disolve with.
@@marijabulatovic9685 very little, I have done Gouri at home, very safe and super easy
What about the risk of lumps and nodules?
If it’s blended properly and you massage the areas as directed, no lumps!
how you dilute sculptra for more superficial injection thanks
How do you feel about Xemin along with Sculpture?
What about risk of occlusion? This product scares me because there is nothing to dissolve if this occurs. What are your thoughts on this, Dan?
The risk of occlusion is extremely rare. This is a watery substance with a minute amount of powder that’s mixed.
Thankyou for sharing. I'm thinking to have 😊@@danestheticsmedical
I tried diluted radiesse on myself, sagging skin on my arms, it didn't work, more than 6 months went by.

Hi Doc, What do you think about Ultraforma 3 HIFU as. a preventative treatment for mid - lower face?

Can you get similar collagen activity from PRP or PRF? Is there a mechanical collagen induction from the movement of the cannula as well?
In theory any type of trauma will stimulate collagen. But PRP/PRF will only produce a minor amount of collagen stimulation compared to these products.
Thanks for sharing! I wonder why we dont see much about liquid PCL as a biostimulator? What are your thoughts on that?
Good question. Unfortunately it’s not Health Canada approved. I can’t comment on it.
@@danestheticsmedical ok got it, thanks for the reply:)
@@danestheticsmedical no Gouri in Canada?!? 😢
Some people have bad reactions to liquid PCL. It put me in the hospital for a week but sculptra gives me no problems at all.
@@Xtiandemedici omg that's scary, sorry to hear that. Was than an anaphylactic response?

Hi Dan, can sculptra be also used around nasal labial fold? Can it help improve that area even if injected in higher areas?
Yes! Absolutely. It will take a few treatments, but it does a nice job
@@danestheticsmedical thank you, Dan.
