Is the cannula technique with the entry points equivalent to the injections points with the needle so providers can use one or the other? I’m especially interested in the injections point with the needle under the eye as my provider only uses cannula for safety reasons. Please let me know. Thank you
Hi Dan, I have problems with the 23G cannula as it is almost too thick to glide smoothly in any of the plane. Does 25G cannula tends to clog up more? How do you recommend to avoid clogging with 25G cannula? Or better technique with 23G cannula? Thanks!
👋🏼 23 takes a little practice. Less accuracy but more safety. It has more resistance but the cannula doesn’t bend as easy with dense tissue. Pros and cons for both. When it comes to thick fillers, you can push almost anything with a 25 gauge, but it takes longer than pushing with a 22 gauge. Practice using both as often as you can. Soon you’ll be an expert with both! Otherwise you’ll always fear what you’re not using.

Hi Dan, what plane are you injecting those boluses, supraperiosteal? And how many cc per bolus?
Would 1 vial be enough to treat all those areas or do you need 2 vials (per session)
