I traveled in Cornwall about 50 years, and I LOVED IT! It wasn’t nearly as touristy as it is now, more like the fishing villages that a lot of them were back then. I remember Mousehole, with fishermen sitting on the walls mending their nets. Your videos are wonderful! Thank you so much!
That is a very peaceful place to stay and walk down to the sea and no seagulls this time and the waves are nice and I wait until the summer time when the weather is nice and hot days thanks Neil
Lovely area. Huge beach when tide is out. Must have been going out for awhile as the sand is quite dry. Probably getting ready to turn around. Brave girls. Thanks.
I would love to visit this lovely cove! I've been to your beautiful country many times but never Cornwall. Devon was the furthest I went. But, next time Cornwall! I love your channel, thank you so much for sharing these with us. Sending love and good wishes from Texas. Cheers! Xxx
Absolutely stunning video. The size of those waves!, Love all your videos, perfect for a cold winter's night. Really cheer me up. The picture quality is really pin sharp. As I watch these on my TV.
Fancy eating a crab sandwich now. I think if you just stand still for a while and your shoes start to get wet, I reckon the tide may well be coming in🤣
@@GimbalWalkTV The harbour is under the cliff on the left as you face the sea. As you first come onto the beach, look back to your left and follow the stream back to the adit.
Those Ladies swimming in icy cold waters. No thank you I can't swim anyway & I'd catch my death in a swimming costume in winter. They were brave them Women! What a fasinating beach with all those pretty pebbles & rocks in multicolours. Glad you didn't try & get down those very dangerous steps with the big drop! You need to stay as fit as a fiddle for the rest of your Gimbal Walks Neil.

Thanks Michael
Lucky enough to live here, I make sure I walk the cove every week, always spot something different. It’s lovely in all 4seasons

Thank you Elaine - hope you are well!
I have lovely hot summer holiday memories of St.Agnes and Trevaunance cove throughout my childhood, in the 1970s- 1980s. The beach was always packed.

Very steep everywhere yeah! My legs are feeling it 🤣
I go there out of season every year, it's a fabulous village, and my dog loves the beach. I don't think I would ever go to Cornwall in season anymore.

There is an interesting sea cave at the beach. Enter it and it narrows, but then you see light. You come out at another point.
Beautiful vlog.
Thank you 😊
Was there on Christmas morning with about 300 others to swim in the sea!!! Crazy.
Goodness - that’s one collllld swim! 🥶🥶🤣

We were there in the late ‘60s, loved it, but it looks completely different now, sadly.
How is it different?
What a pity you missed out the old harbour and the stream coming out of the mine adit.
I'm back there this week - will try and find it
Whereabouts is it?

The parking when I went was close to the beach yes - but it's very hilly!
Is the model village still there I remember visiting it many years ago.
It is!
I’m afraid it is’t there anymore. Went years ago sadly. But St Agnes is extremely beautiful any time of year (I’m a lucky resident). ❤
