- A solid 18 second period swell hit the UK last week, turning on some of Cornwall's best reef breaks. We were also blessed with some really good weather, making for an amazing day all round.

Highly unlikely but maybe the first time barrelled in full winter gear (water temp 45 dec F 8deg C). 🥶
These guys would be even better surfers in boardies and warm water.
These days don’t come around that often here, we get good waves frequently in the area, but this day was a special one
Cornwall doesn’t barrell that often so yeah could be first one

Yea you never get barreled here. The waves suck in the UK and it's too cold. I wouldn't bother visiting if I were you.

Absolutely perfect! Clean ground swell hits rock reef with a bevy of stoked rippers.
Quite possibly one of the best videos from the reef, lots of cracking shots and angles especially the drone work captured the essence of surfing in Cornwall 💪👍

I grew up in Kernow but now live in Colchester (0 surf). That vid made me feel a tad emotional. Well done with the filming chaps and lovely to see some of you guys maybe getting tubes for the first time. Awesome 🤙🏽

Great wave, but not the best in the UK, or even England. Really not knocking it, it's a bit easier to surf than some of the other top spots.

Yeah, normally only in the autumn & winter months

A nice form to the waves, but they close out too quickly for any significantly long rides. If you enjoy a quick elevator drop and a dumping, that's fine.
