This was beautiful! I adore your journey both with your experience using film, and on the way to each beach as you tell your story! A very introspective video, while also feeling like I’m learning about film’s temperaments along from your story!
The PNW is endlessly gorgeous, and I love how you put this video together. It's a shame about those lost shots though, but you still got amazing photos.
I like this video because you are doing something and showing us things that you did instead of those people who sat down in front of camera and talk until, the end of the episode while showing us snippets of their B-roll. Keep up the good work, you do you! I subscribed 👍
Beautiful video. I love your vibe, photos, and voice)) Btw take a look at Canon's back seal. Red, white flare is nice and everything, but sometimes it ruins the shot.
Great video! Hope your film didn’t get the smell of Lao Gan Ma😜 Your video has a great pace and is also relaxing . Hope to see more vlogs in the future~ Love from Shanghai.
This is so good man. Your narrative voice is great, the pacing around the “Canon Beach” title was killer, great mix of footage. Oh and of course, great photos 😁 RIP Sekonic 🙏🏻
Appreciate you! Excited to work on the next video and hope you’ll like it as well! Thankfully, I had found the light meter on the ground back on the grass field, but definitely will be double checking my pockets from now on!
First video? Hard to tell that, great job. Some of us who have been shooting film for 50 years make these kind of mistakes, you learn to live with it (and slow down more). Seems like you've got a good handle on that. (If I may offer one video tip, I would lower the music volume during the non-speaking parts). Keep it up!
Great! The pro's and con's of film! I myself love film and the misstakes we make, it's all part of life itself!
No doubt! Thank you for watching!
It's about time. Hell yes!
Thank you! 🙏🏽

Have you used the cinestill developer kit to develop these photos?
Yup. I really enjoy the simplicity of CineStill’s kit. Just bought more to develop the next rolls of CineStill 400D and they look great 👍🏽
More videos pls
New video is in the works! Stay tuned!
