That guitar has it all! Yes, you can play it delicately, and it is so responsive, but, also, you can make it ROAR! Tons of headroom. Just the kind of parlor size guitar I love. Shout out to the lovely lady, who knows just how to touch a fine instrument!
I love the sound that Angela pulls out of that sweet O-18. I inherited a 1955 D-18 that Dad acquired when I was 2 years old. I’m 70 now and I can still remember the night he bought it and I still have the hand written bill of sale. It’s never been stored away with tension on the strings so the top and bridge are in great condition.
When I do play it the deep and loud sound of that dreadnaught is awesome.
Family heirloom…never gonna sell this one!

I love my Martin dreadnaught jr. It sounds so big but easy to handle. Love flat top Fridays with Angie and that version of Mad man was killer.

Merry Christmas 2 Angela and norms from Britain. It's such an honour for us2 Angela, you are an asset to norms with such potential yourself. When you say 2024 happening 4 you it is exciting 4 all of us. The players have become part of the lives of many. Something promising 4 a year inheriting the destruction of war and global issues of poverty and human rights. Thankyou for being a candle of hope in a world suffering the allergy of humanity tearing itself apart. May we remember those suffering and less fortunate 4 Jesus at this special time of His birth. Slight correction on Martin's Fretboard Radius.
It's not 14", as Angela mistakenly noted.
Martin Acoustic Guitars typically have a 16" Radius.

Angela this single O sounds sweet, comparing to the 2 O’s n 3 O’s this sounds the best for me. For a 54 a few bruises but still in good cond like me 🤣🤣🤣 love this sound.

No offense to Lemmo or any of the other guys, but the absolute BEST host for Flattop Fridays is Angela Petrilli. Her approach to the acoustics; her technique; her dynamics; her music selections, are always perfect for showcasing acoustic guitars. Unlike Lemmo who uses the same "electric guitar" approach to everything, which does not showcase the acoustics properly. And I also love watching Angel's facial expressions while she plays.
