These trucks are shipped directly from Ford to Roush Enterprises to be modified. You can pick which ever model from a base single cab which is a great drag truck to a Platinum crew cab. That's why the blue oval Ford emblem because it's a Ford truck shipped from the line to Roush. Even with the modifications. The truck has the regular factory warranty. Being an XLT. There were several options that raised that trucks MSRP like the large screen and the hideaway gear shift knob. The supercharger and other performance parts likely added an additional $20,000+ because just the supercharger kit cost $12,350 plus installation labor not including front seats. Option two is a single cab supercharger package from Ford performance that's installed at your Ford dealership that also has a factory warranty. If I was building a truck for dragstrip use. I would go with a light weight base model single cab F150 and the 705 horsepower. If I was purchasing a special all around truck with more technology and that says. Look at me. I would go with the regular 450 horsepower EcoBoost Raptor. Less horsepower, but an amazing overall baja truck. If you get the opportunity. I think you'll have a blast test driving a Whipple single cab Ford performance M-6066-F150SCA F150. With less weight and 700 horsepower. It's a handful.
I love it. Ford is so ahead of other car makers. Have you seen the streets of America? So many different Ford models and different years are still a consumer favorite. Anytime I see the new F150 I'm like damn same formula but it's adjusted to modern times so nicely 🔥🔥🔥🔥
There is a Sport mode which firms up the transmission shifts. There is a noticeable delay when manually shifting, need to anticipate shift points. Lastly the SC has a poor design. The intercooler is mounted under the pulley and lobes in the engine valley, which limits cooling due to small intercooler. These things slow down quickly due to timing being pulled when things get hot. Whipple has intercooler on top and pulley in the valley, which allows larger cooling surface. Ford announced you can order an F150 with a Whipple next year. Better route and not pay premium for Roush or Shelby name with a bunch of stickers.

When he said price tag of $85,000 I thought that was great. And then he said he would go with a raptor R or TRX both of which are about $125,000. So you get the same performance for 40k less. I'm not sure how he could compare this with those other two? At $85,000 how can you go wrong
Mopar does an amazing job with the supercharger whine but Audi deserves some credit, throw a CAI on the 3.0T and holy smokes they rival the mopar whine any day of the week.
Joe I enjoyed the on throttle action inside the passenger seat,it would be nice if they had a cat back exhaust dual exit like the ford raptor. Now all that’s left is the mustang roush for you to review.

Go with the whipple, my 2021 Roush F150 makes 800hp using the 3.0 liter whipple and its under warranty
I have a RT570 and have to say these trucks are really great. They are nice to drive normally and have that extra bit when you need give it the beans.
