Colour name of DC tile
Sir can we install both the types of tiles with Paper joints? My contractor suggests that matt finish should always have space and grout but space is optional for DC polished.
Space between two tiles is primary required to protect them from stress generated because of thermal expansion or other Structural movement. This space then needs to be filled by a good grout which should also have deformability.
Whatever finish or design your tiles have, it doesn't change the fact.
People avoid gaps for aesthetic reasons. You can avoid too but our job is to inform you that sometimes ignoring this could bring unwanted result in long term.

🙏🙏Sir rectified tiles achha hai ya gvt tiles best kauna sa hai floor ke liye aur sir brand me sahi hai ya non brand please suggest me
RECTIFIED ka matlab sirf itna hota hai ki tiles ki chaaro sides cut karke ek sapaat kee gayi hain... iska tile type se kuchh lena-dena nahi hai,,,, aajkal lagbhag sabhi tiles RECTIFIED hee hain.
Flooring ke liye agar aap polished tiles soch rahe hain, to Double Charge ka scratch resistance, polished GVT se zyaada hota hai.

@@onthefloorwithdvsir I tried to get double charged but only one design liked so we took GVT verified single charged for guest room (K12608)
There is no issue in using GVT polished tiles in residential floor. You may share the pic for the OTF audiences 👍

Hi Dinesh ji, i want to go for double charge matte finish in kitchen is it possible? I searched in entire market no one is having dc matte finish
Also try full body (unglazed one) in matte.
It becomes challenging for most manufacturers to produce flat surface of (un glazed) DC/ Full-body because it requires much higher precision and efforts than polished tiles...when they polish it, little part from the top is shaved and they achieve desired flatness.
You may still get some salt-n-pepper type DC/ FB tiles in matte.
If not, then you may have to consider good quality matte finished, GVT from the market.

Double charge meaning matte vitrified tiles?
Gvt meaning glossy vitrified tiles ?
No. Double charge tiles are not glazed and generally polished (glossy) but can be matt also.
GVT has a layer of glaze on top and could be matte and polished (glossy) also...when GVT is polished, it is termed as PGVT which stands for Polished Glazed Vitrified Tile. You may tune in to an earlier podcast where classification/Types of Tiles are explained.

Sir dc me design nahi milte hai
As compared to GVT, design range will always be lesser in DC . Any visual can be printed in GVT because wahaan glaze hai aur printing aasaan hai.
DC me design small particles ko arrange karke bananti hai. Lekin polished versions ke DC tile ka scratch resistance Polished GVT se bahut zyada hota hai.
What is digital. I saw today maximum tiles are digital tiles.
'Digital' tiles are the ones where Printing of design is done using special inkjet digital printers. Most glazed tiles are digitally printed.
