My son is getting married, and I have been looking for some lighting options for the evening reception. These are great. Thank you for the inspiration.
Congratulations!! How wonderful, I’m sure you are so excited 🤗💗 The first one and the mason jar one would be great for table lighting for an evening reception. The mason jar one can be filled with anything to suit the color scheme 💕
Yes, ma'am. The wedding and reception are outside, and I am so thrilled to hang them in all the trees and around the swimming pool. Thank you again. You are so creative!!!
Great timing I was just thinking that we need some solar lights on patio stairs and around patio and I love the first one 😊👍💕 going to have to do a dt run and get working on these😅 thanks so much for the great ideas🙏😘💕💕
These diy projects are so creative and perfect for summer. If I had a backyard I would definitely use them. Also I love your blue crochet top. I hope you are doing well and I hope you have a wonderful day.
Aww thank you so very much!! I’ve been wanting to make a solar light DIY video for years, but I finally got around to it 😄 The top was actually an Amazon find 🤗 I hope you are well to and I hope you have a great Friday and wonderful weekend! 💗
Thank you these are darling. I have some of the double hooks in my yard so I would love to make a couple of the hanging ones and one of the first ones you made. So, so cute. Until next time sweetie hope you have a great weekend and I loved your top as well. It looked like it was very pretty.🌼🐦💕
Aww 🥰 thank you so much for your very sweet words! The first one is a must try, I am actually going to be making a few more of them this weekend. I hope you have a wonderful weekend!! 💗🌸💕
I don't like to use glue, so you can't replace the solar light easily (the batteries do eventually give out and it's cheaper to get a whole new light). But I do often top the light with one of a 4-pack of little glass bowls from DT to keep out water,/protect the solar panel. In some cases I stick the solar in a plant and top it with an upside down jar or vase. And to just protect the panels, clear nail polish is good.
These lights are solar, but after a while, the "special" battery inside them runs out and must be replaced. So, what would you do about that if you glued the "tops" on?
If you use something like hot glue you can pretty easily pull it off if you have to. With the lamp craft the part that would need to be pulled off to replace the battery would still be completely accessible. But that’s why I mentioned that it is an option if you want the more secure hold, if you want you can just place it on top.
These are all awesome‼️ My favorite is the one in the white vase with the clear bowl for the lamp shade❣️🤩💜🤩 That’s ingenious‼️👍👏
Thank you so very much!! 🥰
Loved #2 with "lamp shade"
Thank you!! I love that one 😄💕
I enjoyed your vlog. The Solar lights look great. Me and my best friend watched together. We found these hacks helpful

Your glass bead vase is a perfect example of when it works well to turn that vase upside down over the solar light!

My favorite is the very first one. It's quick, easy, and will hang under the eave of the house if I use a strong glue.
Thank you so much!! That one is one of my favorites because of how simple it is 🤗💗
