I love that idea with the lights in the planter box, and you know what, I've never seen your videos, til today when I'm browsing and since I love doing these kinds of diy's , plus I'm an avid dollar store girl, so my point is ...there's lots of these types of vid's out, and lots of great ideas , but other than the crafty part of the video , which is awesome , but you come across as really awesome and genuine person . Lastly , it's amazing how much we can reveal our personality , simply through just video . Anyways . If that makes sense . Keep it going !!!
Something I did (I live in a small valley that still gets some weather) is I hot glued Dollar Tree burlap over the rim of the tin/pot/cup/planter I picked up after I added rocks and stuck the greenery and moss through/over the burlap. That has added to the illusion they're real, as well as helped prevent the rocks and plants from falling out or bugs crawling in.
Super, super adorable ideas. You have so much open space outside now that I'm sure you're having a blast decorating it... Solar lights can add so much to a space.. 👍😁🤗🌷
I have those round crackeled solar lights and am going to paint those little daisies on them! Thanks for the idea, Katelyn! I really appreciate your creativity! ❤
I love the brass candle holders you painted, green. Light up, looks like something you see in a ride at Disney World. I love Disney World. They all look so good. Thanks for sharing and may you have a Blessed day.
I just picked up a solar light, a little glass vase and some clear beads. Done! Perfect little solar light for my porch stand. Picked up one of those sunflowers to use in front of my garden flag. Thanks for all your ideas. ❤
Katelyn, I love to watch your videos! You are so down to earth! I did a similar solar light project like your first one. I used a piece of board(I believe it was a baseboard because of the ridges. Its what I had on hand).I stained the board. I had purchased three lightening globes from the thrift store. I turned them upside down and glued them to the board with E6000 and hot glue. I then used the same solar lights as you did. I removed the stake and glued them onto the globes. When everything was dry, I took apart a small roses stem and some greenery and glued them on the ends and in between the globes. It really turned out well. I plan to use it on our patio table. I bought some of the round globe solar lights. Instead of painting daisies on them, I am going to paint some purple flowers (my favorite color). Thank you for all your wonderful ideas!🤗
I would love to see if you could create an outside bug, animal or creature using spray foam, spackling and the solar lights. A vision came to me watching your video. I’m not a crafter, but, I love watching your videos. Thanks Kat !
I love those solar lights in your first project. I bought two of them last year and I wish I would have bought more. They have been the best solar lights I have ever bought from anywhere. I even went and paid four and five dollars for some at other places they weren't as bright as these little gems.. I don't know why none of my Dollar Trees carried these this year. If I ever find them again I'm going to grab every one that I can find. If anybody finds them in their stores grab them you will not be sorry. I'm in love with the little bouquet of Daisy lights display, it would look beautiful on my porch. You always have the best ideas❤
I loved your solar hacks/tips. My favorite was the sunflower ones, & my favorite flower is sunflowers too. I also liked the last one with your look on the daisies...it really made them bring out that pop of color. -----Amelia
@@KraftsbyKatelyn Thank you, sweet friend! Guess who I learned that from! 🙂🌞 🩷 I've actually been using that" sweet friend" when I'm texting with a friend or sending them a card. ❤️ I'm hoping that you don't have a copyright on it, LOL 😄 We never know what little or big thing that we say or do that can spread light & goodness to others! I thank God for you and Bargain Bethany, too. 👏🏻🩷🙏🏻👋🏻
All of these crafts are absolutely adorable!! I don't have a yard to use them in unfortunately but they would make beautiful gifts for family and friends who do!! Hope you're settling in to your new home and are getting a chance to relax and enjoy!! Happy 4th of July!! 🇺🇲 God Bless You and your family 🕊️🙏❤️
Super great ideas using solar lights, especially putting your personal touch of daises 😊 we’re having heat waves this week 114!! 🥵 in California; stay cool 😎
My address is actually 1234 and when I tell someone I have to say twelve thirty-four or they think I’m giving a fake address. 😂 I really enjoy watching your videos btw!
I grew up with 1111 as my address, can’t tell you how many times people would say” yeah, I got the 11”, always had to say yes, now add a second 11 because I don’t stutter
Can you please do more high-end LOOK diys for home decor? I have so much stuff from Dollar Tree, Dollar General, Hobby Lobby and Walmart. But I can't find hardly any high-end LOOK diys for everyday home decor? Seems like everything is seasonal 😢 I know that you will and are decorating your new home ❤ congratulations ❤ and would love New Ideas for New High-End Look Diys for Everyday home decor 🙏🙏 thank you so very much ❤
What do you do when the lights no longer come on? Is it a battery issue? A bulb? I hate to buy these over and over and then toss them in the landfill. Any ideas anybody? Thanks so much in advance! 🙏🏽
The sunflower piece is really cute and practical. Great DIYs, as usual.
Adorable, Beautiful ideas 💜💜💜💜💜

I see so many of these at thrift shop, so its a great earth friendly project to focus on too-using all recycled materials.

I have that same issue, 🤦🏻♀️ only mine is just the 123, so it’s not as easy to break it down in numerical terms like yours 😂
Our phone # ended in 0007. You’d think it would be easy for people but no
Do you know how well solar work in winter We live in NW Arkansas
❤❤ ❤❤!!!!!!
Did you get the sunflower solar lights at Dollar Tree?
High end is debatable but still a fun craft
