Care to elaborate on how the video gets to your phone? Does it use encryption? Is it fed through PetCube's own servers? Can it be used without connecting it to the internet? What is the app's permissions like? Does Sleep Mode disconnect the camera, or is constantly being fed to the company? What is the company like, and how do they handle data breaches, or software exploits? Is the device compatible with other software than just the app? Is there Homekit or Google Assistant support? Can the device use ethernet, or is it strictly Wi-Fi? Is the app easy to navigate? Can I have the recordings locally, and if so, is the storage removable?

@@Mimi-sf5sq Sure, but this is meant to be a review. A reviewer is meant to (at least to some degree) understand the final product. They're meant to give you information on what it does, how well it does it, and ways they could potentially improve. That's what The Gadget Show USED to do. That's what plenty of reviewers still do, the good ones anyway. Yet this, despite the name, is more of a preview, and advertisement... I believe some folks call it a tech showcase.
So it's a useless device when they end service? Or if they reduce included options making them pay only, how happy will the consumer be then?
