I've a lot about it lately buy that's the first time I've seen it in action, I'm impressed, it can hold a better conversation than most people down my local pub who usually only talk about sport or pretend to understand politics.
I can see benefits of the conversation aspect of AI. I've used it to practice for job interviews, so the AI asked me questions, then let me know what additional things I could include in my answer to improve. I think it could be quite useful to actors too as the AI could play other characters, so you can learn and practice your lines.
I assume there are still large pauses while it calculates an answer as there's an edit right before it answers anything. It'd be intresting to see this uncut to see how it affects it feeling like a real conversation.
@@mclarenrob2 That's what I thought. But there's clearly an edit and a time jump every time it answers anything in this video. I feel like it's edited to make it look more responsive than it is, otherwise why all the time jumps?
That was very interesting and much better than the first presentation of the voice mode I saw that was irritating and too chatty, flirting. Quite impressive
11:24 we learnt that it’s always fishing for information so the last word is a question. Very clever and I’m with Susie and it’s so blooody annoying. I do use it but I have to admit I don’t rely on it yet. YET!

It’s very clever, but as it is not (yet) sentient, it’s fairly predictable and not very human like. It’s like a know-all with zero common sense or sense of humour.

It's supposed to be almost instant, this is the new one that's only out in beta.

Maybe it could help people that have lost a love one , maybe change the voice to that of someone you’ve lost ?

I Disagree. It was human like in as much as it was clever and intelligent.
