the banana box test is actually really useful ( thanks :D ) because capacity in litres is not always relevant when actually trying to fit things into the boot, like suitcases.
@@SmartMart1658 from what I've read about the MG ZS it is not really comparable to the Polestar 2 in terms of "niceness". The MGs (well, SAIC really, they just bought the MG brand so they can stick that badge on for us Europeans) seem to be *really* bare-bones, shave costs everywhere cars. The Polestar 2 on the other hand is a very nice car. But also in a different price bracket.
@@SmartMart1658 Yeah it is a stationwagon. but the comparison stops there. The MG is a bit ugly and cheap looking and the battery is only 50kwh, motor is only 85kW.

I cannot believe that I always watch these banana box videos... And I love them. Ahhh. Does this say anything about me. Don't care. Thanks for the video Björn.
hello Bjorn, I've been following all your tests for the past 2 years. I appreciate your test method very much. What I think is a pity that you do not pay attention to the draw weight of the ev's. I hope you will include this in your many tests. Warm greetings from a fan. Huub.
Why in your list does the Polestar appear above the VW ID3 when it can actually hold one box less in the boot? There is always one person who will moan, right!! But seriously - Thanks Bjorn for all your work, you make everything so clear and the banana box test should be a standard for every car company.
I was interested in a radiated heat test with the glass roof. If the glass roof was covered in aluminium cooking foil on a hot day how that would affect the inside temperature and the energy used by the air conditioner to keep the car cool. A drive test and a sitting in the sun all day test.
Nice color. Would be my choice if I would exchange my big thirsty e-tron to a small thirsty Polestar 2. By the way: I don't need to transport banana-boxes 😉🤷♂️

Didn't expected that in a banana video huhuhu...
After he measured his PP it was inevitable.
"Honey, that man is again putting and taking out empty boxes to cars again, while making jokes to himself... I think he might be Bananas" :P
I bet they really find it strange when he talks in such a high pitch
Polestar would get mega bonus points if they added "Banana boxes: niiineteeeeeen" to their spec list.
Bjorn is a comedian! I swear this guy makes me laugh out loud in most videos!
the banana box test is actually really useful ( thanks :D ) because capacity in litres is not always relevant when actually trying to fit things into the boot, like suitcases.

I hope Polestar will make a stationwagon version of the polestar 2!

Love the struggling chipmunk sound LOL when the video was sped up :D

Thank You Bjørn for this good and informative video and fun and I always like your videos so again thank you from a little viewer from Denmark

must admit i dig the design of this thing

I fitted an 8 foot high Christmas tree in my Polestar2 with two people in the front. It is pretty spacious.

What is draw weight? I already check the weight of the cars I test.
what can the car pull
Looks like Kia Soul has a banana box standardised trunk
Yes...but now for the real question: How many smart ED can you fit inside a banana box?
Thanks for this! It's a very useful video for comparing cars :)

Looks like the chart is sorted by seats down capacity, then alphabetically on car name. It's the same near the top with e-Soul and Model X 6-seater.
Great to hear "Scheiße" in an abroad video :-)
Btw.: I really like your videos, great work!
foot activated trunk is surprisingly addictive... can't believe Teslas didn't get that.

lovely car colour. what is the colour?
I love this car!
Thanks for the test!
How is the trunk space with the seats down? Can you camp in it?
why does it have two tow hooks?
reads "Made in China"
Well, that makes sense....
No use of the room under the floor in the trunk.
Is there a reason for not using that also in the test?
